The hibachi chef did not speak to us or engage us in any way and the presentation felt lackluster. The server was nice but keep forgetting things and never cleared our appetizer plates. The hibachi food was fairly good, but not memorable, with the exception of the ginger salad dressing, which was excellent. Overall the experience was just okay.

I love the way they packaged my food with such care and checked if I needed any additional sauces or utensils. The restaurant is cute and I would have really sat down and enjoyed my food. It usually takes less than 10 minutes for your order to be complete. They have lots of tables for you to dine in or take your order to go. Pricing is pretty good. The dumplings were delicious and I love the sauce that comes with it. The chicken egg rolls were very full and delicious (I add duck sauce to mine). The hibachi portions are large and it's very flavorful! (You can ask for extra teriyaki sauce or yum yum sauce for a small fee).

In fact, it was so mild and sweet that when I took a bite, I immediately walked back in the store and told them it wasn't spicy. They informed me that it was "mild " ... well, I have been to this chain in various parts of the country and I can honestly tell you I have never tasted spicy that had such little spice. The vibes inside are... OK. There was an unhoused person high out of his mind standing outside when I pulled up. The inside was clean but basic. The second course was a shrimp salad with apple and goat cheese (I don't eat bacon - pescatarian) paired with an apple bourbon martini. They usually make this drink like more of a traditional martini with vodka, but I really liked the bourbon. It wasn't too sweet and had a slight pear flavor, great for fall. The salad's dressing was also delicious. The next course was a risotto with scallops with a maple bourbon sour. This was my least favorite course overall. The entire restaurant's risotto was undercooked and crunchy. Scallops had amazing flavor though. The drink was too sweet for me. The last course was a spiced apple cheesecake (SO GOOD) with a s'mores old fashioned. This was also sweet but we liked it. The staff are really accommodating of allergies and modifications. There is a lot of space inside, but the lobby can get crowded in addition to the parking lot. There is a bar area too but they don't participate in the event. If you come during an event, be sure to arrive before it is beginning. Finally, my friend won a raffle for a nice gift basket. That was a highlight.

I placed an online pickup order at Sharks Fish Chicken & Pizza, and the experience started off a…read morelittle rough, and unfortunately the issues continued even after I thought everything had been resolved. When I walked in, I was greeted by one of the two employees working, which I appreciated. I let them know I had placed an order for pickup, but there seemed to be some confusion when they asked for my name. Another employee asked if I had ordered online, and when I said yes, she rolled her eyes, which immediately made the interaction feel less welcoming. I realized that I had accidentally ordered the wrong item online. I wanted the 2-piece whole wings with 1 piece of whiting, but mistakenly ordered the 2-piece whiting instead. When I asked if the order could be changed, I was initially told no because it had been placed online and she didn't know the prices. I showed her the item I actually wanted, and we discovered it was only 50¢ more than what I had ordered. I offered to pay the difference, but my offer wasn't acknowledged. It wasn't until I said I would rather cancel the order completely that she agreed to correct it. I completely understand that the original ordering mistake was mine, but what should have been a relatively simple correction became unnecessarily difficult. The customer service could definitely use some improvement. Unfortunately, when I received my corrected order, I discovered that I was given two wings and no fish at all. To make matters even more confusing, I initially paid more than the price they have posted for their 3-piece wing combo, which also comes with a drink. That made absolutely no sense to me. When I questioned the pricing, the explanation was that their online pricing is handled by a third-party company. I understand that online prices can sometimes differ from in-store pricing, but paying more for two wings--with no fish and no drink--than the posted price of a three-wing combo that includes a drink simply doesn't add up. And now there's another issue. I've since been charged an additional $1.82, bringing my total to a whopping $12.93 for TWO wings and fries. I did not authorize an additional charge, and considering I never even received the fish I requested, this is completely unacceptable. I don't know why this additional amount was charged, but from my perspective, an unexplained charge that I did not authorize is a serious problem and needs to be addressed. So, despite saying I wouldn't be back, it looks like I will be returning--but only to discuss this additional charge and have it corrected. As far as the actual food goes, I do want to be fair: the wings and fries were actually really good, and the mambo sauce was good too. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the fruit punch. It tasted like watered-down Kool-Aid. One nice bonus is that they offer a free fountain drink or another complimentary item for leaving a Yelp review. It's a small perk, but a nice touch for customers who take the time to share their experience. I take responsibility for accidentally selecting the wrong item when I placed my original order. However, between the customer service, the incorrect correction, confusing pricing, not receiving the fish, and now an additional unexplained charge, this experience became far more complicated than it ever needed to be. The food I received was good, but unfortunately, good wings and fries aren't enough to outweigh this experience. Once this additional charge is addressed, I will not be returning to order again.
