I have a 1996 Dodge Ram that was rear-ended in March 2019. The bed box damage was extensive which required a complete replacement of the right side. I also had damage from a previous incident on the left side of the box and peeling paint on the top of the cab and tailgate. The team at Quigleys did a wonderful job restoring my truck to like new finish! This past week (June 2020) I brought this vehicle back to have the front hood replaced after an incident, and some work on other areas needed attention. Same result! These guys are meticulous pros and it shows in the quality of work performed! On both of my repairs, I've worked with Bruce Berry and Mark Sandstedt. They are both highly professional, very accommodating, personable, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire repair process with regular updates and suggestions on how to best complete specific tasks. This review is long overdue. I first came here in 1998. I had a Toyota Supra that was white that I wanted changed to candy yellow, and a body kit needed to be mounted. Two years later, this car became the star of Universal's "The Fast and The Furious." Once again, Quigley's painted the car, but this time, it was candy orange and a whole new body kit was mounted. They also painted the blue Maxima for that movie, which was my second car...it too, started off white. For the second movie, I had an R34 Skyline GTR painted here. The car was black, but Quigley's had already repainted it blue. Universal wanted it silver for the movie, and when I got it back, I wanted it back to blue. So they ended painting that car THREE times, all were complete color changes. Over the subsequent years, they painted several other cars, including a wild 2002 BMW M3 wide body (full color change), a 2001 Lamborghini Diablo (rock damage), a 1998 Diablo (pothole damage), my 996 TT Porsche (body mods), etc. Each time, delivery was on time, the work was literally flawless and communication was superb. As someone who has been in the automotive industry since 1982, I want to note that Quigley's has had the same people on staff since I first started going there, including their painter, their prep team and office manager. That says a LOT about a company. They are not the cheapest, nor are they even close to the most expensive, and they take many insurance jobs, but the quality is always superb. As the best barometer, look at their reviews here....how many businesses do you know that have almost 100% ALL 5-star reviews? If you go somewhere else, especially for insurance work, you're not going to have the pleasure of seeing how a top-notch shop operates. read more

I just picked up my wife's Toyota Corolla that was damaged by an auto relocation company during our move from Florida to California. The car looks as if nothing ever happened! :) The relocation company originally wanted me to settle for about half of what it would cost to fix the damage. Mark gave me a fair estimate to repair all of the damage and some tips for dealing with the relocation company. In the end, the relocation company sent us a check for the full amount and they also provided a rental car. I also asked Mark to replace the front driver side window seal since it had been very noisy after a smash & grab robbery in Miami a few years ago. The body shop in Florida (long time family friends) just replaced the glass to help keep our costs down. But I have suffered with the wind noise ever since then. When you see a business with over 100 reviews and a solid 5 stars, you know you are getting the best of the best. I got into a small accident which required some body work to be done. Of course, it could be brought into a dealership which they'll charge you a ton of money and mediocre service. Alternatively, I looked on yelp to see what options are available. I sent out a blast request for service from local shops in my area and Quigleys was the first one to respond. A few more shops emailed throughout the day but after looking at all the different positive reviews, I knew I wanted to go with them. I was surprised to know that Glenn, who I was communicating with the entire time from the moment of inquiry, is the owner of this shop. They've been open for many decades and have done amazing work. My mind was at peace knowing that I was speaking to the boss himself. He was very nice, kind, and fair with his pricing. I liked the fact that he was candor about the whole thing and set the expectations up front on how much time it will take and how much it will be. The things that exceeded my expectations are things like my car being washed and vacuumed when I picked it up. It looked better than when I first took ownership of the car! The rims were even cleaned as well as the interior! There was constant communication throughout the whole time. I never felt like I was out of the loop on anything. They did a good job in the repair (front door panel) but found a giant slash in my steering wheel and the plastic on the underside of my car was dragging on the ground, which it wasn't prior to going into the shop. I later found out that a couple of my family members took their cars in their previously and had the same issues. One went in for issues the back quarter panel and the turn signal switch next to the steering wheel was complete loose and half broken. The other took their car in with significant damage after someone hit the car while parked. They total missed a broken shock. The mechanic down the street noticed the issue and had to go back to them. I would recommend avoiding. While they generally do a good job on the repair, you'll find things unrelated things are damaged. read more

During the recent rain in Southern California, my family had an unfortunate accident. Where we(yes I am using the term "we" to protect the innocent") rear ended another car with our 2005 Nissan Altima. Before the accident the car was in impeccable condition. After the accident, the entire front end was a disaster. We were given Quigley's name by State Farm our insurance company. I knew nothing about them, so I actually came to Yelp to find out what was being said about them and the other shops we were given. Fortunately we chose Quigleys. Bruce and the rest of the crew were great to work with. I was fully expecting this process to take at least a month with all the damage that came from the accident. Well 11 days later we had our car back. To say it looked perfect was an understatement. The body work was perfect, but they even clean the engine and got inside and scrubbed the whole interior and Armor-all'ed the tires. We have what appears to be a brand new car. Like I said to Bruce when I picked up the car, I hope I never have to see him again. But if you are concerned about auto body work as I was, the guys at Quigleys will take great care of you. read more

I called to ask about popping out a dent from a shopping cart. Was told to stop by, which I did. He started talking about matching paint and I stopped him. I just want it popped out. He said that guy was out all week and it may not turn out great, but you'd still have to pay for their time. It would cost about $125. But do it the right way and it would look great ($600). I opted to wait for the paintless dent removal. On my way back to the office, I stopped by Mcleran auto body. They handed me a card for Ultimate Dent Removal. I called and within 2 hours they were at my office and the dent is completely gone for $95. read more

I've been meaning to write this place a review for months now. This place is wonderful. Mark is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I took my car in after I was rear-ended a few months ago and he was very helpful and honest. I did not expect to receive an education about how auto insurance companies handle things - and boy I was glad I met Mark! Even after our short 10-minute conversation, he made me feel at home and I completely trusted what he had to say. That definitely says a lot, because there are so many not-so-great service reps out there just looking to make a sale - especially to females who "haven't a clue" about cars. These guys are top notch! They fixed some bumper and apron damage, replaced my grill, and installed a new headlight, on my Honda Pilot and it looks as good as new. They definitely spend a lot of time trying to explain the process and make sure that everything gets fixed...and they get the job done fast. Mark definitely took very good care of me by keeping me informed of where they were with the progress of the repair and he even helped me through a lot of the red tape that Esurance sent me through to get the job done. The whole process took about 1 week, 3 days of which were idle because Esurance was dragging their feet. I hope I never need these guys again, but if I ever need a great body shop I will definitely be back. Had my car repaired here for undercarriage/wiring damage and a stolen side mirror cap. Went through my insurance and they offered Quigley's as one of their recommended body shops. I made an appointment and brought my car in to have them take a look. They made a call to BMW asking for parts, and told me they'd call me when the car was ready. I was expecting maybe a week's worth of wait, seeing as they'd have to wait for the parts to come in. But lo and behold, the next evening they called me and let me know the car was ready for pickup. I have used them twice. Once in a bad time when my car was hit at a parking lot, and during a better time, when I had some extra money to upgrade some parts on my car. Both times Quiqleys: 1) Did a great job, completely, totally unnoticable that any repair was done. Like new, basically. 2) Was honest about their pricing and what to expect. 3) Offered reasonable prices in comparison to others. Note that Quigley's is not cheap due to the quality of their work, they are nevertheless very competitive, and they also do work hard to avoid wasting your money. 4) Very polite, great communication. 5) Clean/decent facility, easy to find location 6) They did what they promised. 7) Just all around had a good feel, good vibe. We've had our cars repaired at Quigley's 4 times over the past 10 years. They are absolutely top notch. Mark is very knowledgeable about insurance, explaining things in detail and helping you through the process. Bruce is very knowledgeable about the repairs, and makes you feel comfortable that your car will be well taken care of. This past repair, I got to meet Craig who repaired the door electronics ... another good guy. At every step, they give you options (such as after-market vs oem, etc), so there have never been any surprises at the end. When dealing with most auto shops, I go in and have to maintain a facade, so I won't get taken. Not here. I can talk openly, and I trust them. How many places can you say that about, especially in the auto industry? For our most recent repair, we were at fault. It was the first time we were at fault, so I thought I would take it to a repair shop that our insurance company authorized. Our car was towed there, and immediately, I knew we didn't want our car repaired there. Because of the insurance company affiliation, there were cars out the wazoo, and I could tell they would not put the care and workmanship into the repair. I felt they might cut corners without telling us, because they have to keep the insurance company happy as much as (or more so than) you. I told the tow truck to take my car to Quigley's, and as soon as I got there, I could feel my stress level come down. Quigley's workmanship is exquisite, and their color matching is impeccable. My wife is the ultimate QA, and can find the smallest blemishes. She has been completely satisfied with Quigley's workmanship.
