Quince Riverside was a solid lunch spot! We tried this on a Friday at a random time and they weren't super busy. We were seated right away and were able to sit on the patio (which runs alongside the river). It was a very large, open patio. Service was solid, no complaints at all there. FOOD: the food was really good! Everything seemed fresh, unique, and pretty well done overall! We had a few apps - I'd get the lamb dumplings!! Then a chicken sandwich (with amazing rosemary fries!) and steak salad. Both very good! If we came back we'd do the exact same order. Overall, a solid spot that I'd say was better than I expected. Not sure where I fall here.. My gf & I have been waiting to try Quince and decided to book a reservation Friday night out on the patio when the weather was great... the atmosphere and ambiance here is fantastic. Hard to beat being right along the river. From the decor to the music to the feel of being on the beach.. big fan. Now the food was a different story. Nothing jumped out on the menu so we decided to roll with the ahi-tuna tacos, chicken yakimeshi, and pecan crusted steak salad. Underwhelmed was really the theme of the food portion. The yakimeshi was the best item but just had that chicken fried rice feel to it... the ahi tuna tacos were messy and lacking flavor, the only thing I could taste was the spice of the spicy mayo on top, the steak salad was just bleh. 3 strips of steak for $26 and a classic garden salad blend simply won't cut it. Don't hate it, don't love it... not sure if I'll be back for food. read more

Another delicious dinner experience at Quince. My favorite rock shrimp appetizer in town, I couldn't get enough. The sushi was fresh and tasty. My sea bass was amazing with a very delicious and unique crust flavor profile. My hubby really enjoyed his tenderloin salad entree. My classic martini was crisp and refreshing. We had outdoor reservations for a Friday night and it was nice and breezy, though extremely crowded. I started with the sangria which was basically fruity water. We also tried a habanero drink that was pretty watery. The appetizers were all amazing. The lamb dumplings were well seasoned and perfect pan seared. The hummus and Brussels sprouts with pita bread was such a nice balance. The chef cooked the Brussels sprouts differently than normal to accommodate some dietary restrictions at the table. The brisket fries had a bit of spice in the cheese but it was just the right amount. They were so good! The sea bass was just okay, but I did like the panko crust and the fish was cooked well. Regardless of the flavors in each dish, everything they brought out was lukewarm. We had a group of four and it was great company, so the things that didn't quite meet the standard were easily overlooked. read more

Our second time here was met with mixed results. Poke Tower great, Brian's burger was subpar. Excellent service and fun vibe on the patio.

The patio and overall atmosphere were definitely the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the food and drinks didn't live up to the setting. The margaritas were extremely sour, although I do appreciate that the bartender was willing to remake them. We also ordered the ahi tuna tacos, but they were pretty flavorless and underwhelming. Between the drinks and food, we ended up deciding not to stay for dinner. One thing that was hard to overlook was how dusty the light fixtures above the bar were, which took away from the experience. Stopped by Quince Riverside for weekend brunch and it was so good. When you arrive there is plenty of parking in the garage or in the parking lot out front. The vibes of the restaurant feel like you are in Mexico and there is even a live stream to the Quince riverside restaurant in San Miguel, Mexico. I ordered the French toast and the chilaquiles with steak. The French toast was okay as the bread was a bit on the cold side and it needed the maple syrup. The chilaquiles with steak were excellent with great flavor on the steak and a hint of heat from the verde sauce on the tortilla chips. There is plenty of outdoor seating on the trinity river which would be nice on a cooler day. We opted to sit inside just to avoid the hot temperatures of the Texas summer. I highly recommend Quince Riverside if you are looking for a weekend brunch spot in Fort Worth. read more

I have visited Quince a few times and overall their service and quality of food is delicious!!! They have live music on Wednesdays and Fridays on their patio. It is a great patio to stay cool in, even in this Texas heat!! They have happy hour until 6. I wasn't a fan of their oysters, very very small for the price, and a bit disappointed in the Brussels sprouts. I will not order The Brussel sprouts again.i was expecting the Brussels sprouts to be cut in half, but they serve them flake like. I prefer half the Brussel sprout for a more filling appetizer. Lamb dumplings were very delicious looking and the flavor profile was wonderful I just could not get past the paste texture of the meat. The rock shrimp tempura was spicy and yummy! The nigiri variety was wonderful and each was served with their own delicious sauce. This place never disappoints, whether you sit on the great patio, in the restaurant or the bar. The atmosphere is great. Especially the outdoor seating. It's a bit pricey and the parking is free however it is shared with many other commercial properties on site. The service was also great the whole time - friendly staff who made awesome recommendations on what to try since it was our first time. I wound up ordering an iced coffee (cold brew with vanilla syrup) which was tasty. For my meal, I opted for the steak and eggs which also came with a French toast slice for the restaurant week special. The steak was SO good - a ton of flavor, tender, and paired perfectly with the egg, hash brown, and guacamole. The French toast was also good and made a nice accompaniment to the main dish. Ordered hamburger that came with fries, the hamburger was the size of a mini burger from Jack in the box and the fries were an Extra Extra large size - also ordered chicken pasta which was separated on the plate, the chicken piece was one quarter the size of a chicken breast and the pasta was 3- cups worth. First time visiting, and I was super-excited about the outdoor, riverside, covered patio - then it rained all day. But the staff turned on the patio heaters and welcomed us warmly. It was great! To say they make a perfect martini is no exaggeration. The old fashioned also was a hit. Their menu meets every taste. We tried the fried artichoke starter - yumm, especially with the lemon aioli. Salmon was perfectly crispy and so good. The star of the evening was their holiday menu: NOLA-proud gumbo and Fort Worth-worthy prime rib with a delicate horseradish blend. We finished by splitting a flourless chocolate cake topped with the best ice cream - it could stand alone as the dessert. Also had a piping hot cortado that was sharp, as it should be. Hats off to our server, who gave us the perfect guidance with every dish. All the staff were attentive and happy, even on a holiday when it can be a bummer to work. It was open, gorgeous and just a really cool place to have brunch or celebrate a birthday. The food was pretty good. I really enjoyed the truffle eggs Benedict. You can subtly taste the truffle in them, but the steak needed a hint of salt, which I had to get from the potatoes. I liked that we got the melon salad. It was fresh and just what we needed to cleanse our palettes between sushi bites and the truffle eggs Benedict. I also loved how sweet the melons were against the bitterness of the arugula. The fish on the sushi was fresh, but my one complaint was the rice. It was kind of hard and not the sushi rice texture I'm used to. If anything, I think this could be improved, but I love the inventiveness of the ingredients used for the sushi. Husband had a spicy Bloody Mary and I had the cucumber mint spritz. I can't say anything about the Bloody Mary, but that cucumber spritz was refreshing and by the end of it, I got a good buzz. We had a great brunch. They have an amazing patio and the view of the river was lovely. Service was top-notch. The food is just as great. The menu is eclectic: from Latin, Asian, to New American. I normally don't get a chicken sandwich for brunch but the grilled chicken sandwich sounded good so I got that. I love mushrooms and provolone so I couldn't pass it up. The rosemary fries were okay, they had a light seasoning to them. The only thing that needs improvement is their ice latte-lack of coffee flavor and it's water-downed. I also had their berry chanty cocktail. It looked pretty and refreshing but the taste was not all there. The place is not perfect but we would still come back. When we came here, i assumed they would offer the regular lunch DFW restaurant week lunch special, but considering i came on the weekend, it was only the brunch special, which i really didn't want. That's completely my fault for not checking before i went. We had a reservation, and i think its a good idea to have one before you go. Service: Service was good. Food: Food was good, and a bit overpriced. We ended up getting two entrees, and one appetizer. Edith's Red Guajillo Enchiladas, Cabo Huevos Rancheros & Peruvian Fries that came with spicy huancainia "peruvian cheese sauce". I recommend getting the ranchero dish, if you really want a explosion of flavor. Ambiance: Kinda weird, they had a DJ spinning like top 40's. Also, they have a camera pointing to their location in mexico, which i thought was pretty cool. Interior: We got sat at the table right next to the DJ, which is the table by the entrance to the patio. The table was not sturdy and kept rocking. Even after the waitress tried to remedy the table with small rubber stopped at the bottom of the table. The area is pretty nice and seems like its up and coming. read more

Poor service. Dirty table, No silverware or napkins, Poor cross-server communication. No attention to detail. No follow-through Friday night we sat on the balcony which I do not recommend for dinner since that area seems to be a blind spot or after-thought. As we were seated, we asked for a specific table which happened to be sticky and wet from previous drinks. No demerit there as the hostess said she would have someone wipe the table. Only problem with that is after her, the next server, and our final server, said they would make it happen, no one did. Finally, we flagged down the busser who promptly accommodated the request. We sat for about 10 minutes before being greeted. Apparently our assigned server was busy, so someone came by and took a drink and oyster order. Drinks were fine. Oysters were not shucked properly (not separated from the shell). Plates were provided only upon request. No horseradish was provided even though we had requested it. We also had to advise our server we wanted a dozen vs the half that she was told. We also had no napkins or silverware at that point and had to request yet another basic service. After the oysters we choose the hamachi as an appetizer, a bottle of wine, and two hot entrees. Usually we avoid making entree orders before we get appetizers as many restaurants have poor food timing, but since our server assured us that the hamachi would be out first, we went ahead and gave the entree order as well given that trips to the balcony seemed to be troublesome. Mistake. We had seen no hamachi, nor wine, when the server showed up with our entrees. I presume she forgot to enter the app order, I don't know what happened to the wine. After we reminded her about the appetizer, she advised that she would "keep the entrees warm" while they prepared the appetizer. No thanks. This major mis-step just capped off all the little issues. The server was friendly and apologetic. While this might be a fun place for group cocktails and fancy munchies, it's not good for a nice dinner. read more

So now I was hungry so started the meal with minty green ceviche verde. It was delightfully refreshing! Also had enchiladas and these were quite the portion, though nothing to write home about. On top of that we thee in additional eggs so it was a little too much. I also tried the pasta rafael, which turned out to be spaghetti as of the "chef's choice". The chicken was a highlight, but the pasta was just okay--personal preference for different pasta types, I guess. The food arrived swiftly and as we were ordering the orders were sent for prep. Came to know about this as I wanted to switch one of the food and our server had to rush inside to cancel the order! Anyways, our sweet server even helped with the recommendations. Now, for my fav part - dessert!! I ordered the baklava cheesecake with cappuccino. As a coffee aficionado, I was overjoyed with the creamy cappuccino, though its presentation was a bit of a mess. The baklava cheesecake was visually stunning, but the baklava was hard to cut and the cheesecake itself a tad dry--pretty but not perfect. However, the flourless chocolate cake, stole the show! I had low expectations, but it exceeded them with its rich flavor! The scoop of ice cream was just cherry on top and again the presentation was spot-on. read more

Tokyo our server was amazing with our larger group!! We sat in the patio and thankful for the heaters! This place was a short (BEAUTIFUL) walk from our hotel and lots of places to walk to a fb visit before or after a bit to eat. It was nice to sit on the patio area, have a drink and visit with friends. They are great for large groups and bonus points this celiac gal was able to eat safely! I had the ahi tuna salad.... (Gluten free) So very good! The tuna was cooked perfectly and the kale paired with the almond and dressing was wonderful! My daughter had the steak bowl and said it was the best meal of the night!
