I returned here for another long stay. Several wing sauces and appetizers were tried and my thoughts on each are below. The wings were of good size and all cooked appropriately which was nice to see. Blackberry Habanero Wings - This was definitely my favorite sauce tried. It had a good balance of sweet and spicy, very solid. Quincy's Sauce Wings - These were okay. I believe this was a mix of BBQ and buffalo or some similar combination. They were a little plain. Garlic Parmesan Wings - This was a dry rub and there needed to be more of a garlic flavoring. There was a good amount of parmesan, but not enough of a garlic presence to balance it out. Chesapeake Honey Lime - This was definitely a unique pairing with the old bay and honey lime, which worked out well. Korean BBQ - These had more of a kick than I was expecting. There was a hint of sweetness, but good. Buffalo - This was a traditional sauce done right. I just wanted more sauce present on this set. Chicken Quesadilla - These were filled well and the chicken was seasoned nicely. I liked the pepper presence for a slight crisp factor. Cheesesteak Egg Rolls - These came with a spicy mayo which was a nice touch. The steak was liked, but the actual egg roll needed to be cooked a little longer as it was not too crispy. read more

But they do have a good amount of TVs, so it's easy to watch the game(s). Food wise, everything was standard. We had been ordering pretzels at every bar stop, so continued the tradition here. It was soft with a nice chew. And I enjoyed trying the crab dip. The marg I got was nice and stiff. I normally order an extra shot on the side since I like my drinks spirit forward. Haven't been here in a while and used to love Tuesday bingo and half off burger night. This place is always packed and nice to see such a cool local bar. Good HH specials on top of bingo and burgers, so its pretty reasonable pricing. The honey lime Chesapeake wings were pretty good and a lot of extra sauce at the bottom of the basket that I used for other things, like the cheesesteak egg rolls, which are also great. My black and blue burger was kinda meh. Seemed to be smaller than usual and not a fan of the bread; this was never an issue before. I also decided to get a side salad, but it wasn't good at all. Didn't seem too fresh and a pretty small portion; should have gotten the tots which is usually what I get. I'd return b/c it could have been an off night; the food is usually pretty good. read more

Great watering hole and restaurant for classic American fare with a relaxed casual vibe and reasonable prices. The also host bingo nights Tuesdays, Family Feud on Thursday's as well as trivia Mondays. Their happy hour specials include discounted drinks and appetizers. Got an All American burger. So, on the alphabet series for the letter Q, the 3rd of 4 representing 2022, was permanently closed. So, only 3 to do with Quincy's being the last representing 2024 for Q is for Quincy's. I visited this Quincy's one time in January 2024. They did Family Feud style trivia on a Thursday, and I met up with a couple of friends & a few people I hadn't met before that night. I feel like I had a burger or some sandwich with fries, and I remember liking whatever I had. It was pretty busy, but the server was trying to be efficient. It was all right, nothing amazing. The patties needed more flavor, and I think they burned my bacon or bread a lil bit. Also, def needs some kind of special sauce, was very dry. I also got an orange crush and it needed more orange flavor. Kind of strong so that's good at least if you're into that. Our waitress was nice and on point. I've been enjoying Quincy's since they open four years ago! Love the atmosphere, choice of dry beers on tap, the food is delicious, and while the service is usually good, on my last two visits (last week!) the service was absolutely outstanding! On each visit, we had at least three servers come by our table to check on us or deliver food and drinks. Special shout out to Drae, David, and Alexis, you guys are the best! And thank you to Quincy's owners, you guys seem to have ramped up your game! I'm already looking forward to my next visit! A year+ after my last review and I am adding on/updating it because my hubby and now feel like this is our "Cheers". Always a great time with the staff and other customers. (When you start recognizing the regulars in a bar, you've become one). Shout out to free bingo on Weds @ 7pm. It is run by Char, who is a star. Had to come back and try the Argentina steak. Unfortunately it wasn't as good as the double smash burger. This would be better with a reduced price and not as a sandwich. The steak was way too tough to bite through at medium rare. After two bites which pulled the steak out of the sandwich I gave up and started cutting through it with a knife and fork. The flavor is great but too pricey and too tough. The service was again impeccable. There was a price discrepancy and the manager was quick to handle it when I pointed out the differences. I went to Quincy's on a Friday night for their Bingo night. It was packed. There was a little bit of a wait so I recommend making a reservation if you're planning on coming on a Friday night. The place was very clean and the entertainment (Bingo) was free but honestly that's about all the positives I can say. Our server seemed so stressed and we hardly saw him throughout the night. I ordered two things: a diet soda and fries. The fries had 0 seasoning and tasted more like eating a potato than a fry. When I asked for a refill of my diet soda, the server forgot and I had to grab his attention after about 30 minutes to remind him. The bingo was okay but the woman calling out the numbers was going so fast it almost felt like she couldn't wait to get out of there. Also we played seven games of regular bingo. I think it would've been nice to make play a different version (ie: the letter X, full board, or getting the border). Overall not a very good experience sadly. read more

Came here for lunch on a Friday at noon and the place wasn't busy. Plenty of seating at the bar area and service was quick and easy. We ordered the Lightly Battered Shrimp with Korean BBQ sauce on the side and Build Your Own Burger with Tots. Food was delicious and I loved the fact that the shrimp were actual shrimps and not the tiny frozen ones. The Burger was made to order and came out just how my husband likes it. Man, I am huge quincy's fan but let me tell you about this experience we had. New ownership or not but no accountability WHAT SO EVER AT THIS PLACE. We came here for game day but apparently they don't do bottomless anymore, which I don't understand because everyday is "gameday" lol (football sunday's don't count but every other day counts LMFAO). We had a table and there was some individual (Karen and her mom LOL) that was VERBALLY aggressive toward our table because we were "loud" since they have their kid with them. I don't understand why you would bring your kid to a bar that would get rowdy on a sunday (football) but whatever. If you like your table getting belittled then this is the spot to go but GO SOMEWHERE ELSE if you want some respect. Apparently the individual knew the "owner" so if you want someone bring disrespectful toward your party then go for it! Like I said before I love quincy's and I really miss the original "Rockville" location because it was better service and management and wasn't a dick but ay whatever right! I went to Quincy's Potomac Bar & Grille with my daughter for Mother's Day, and it was our first time there. The warm smiles and friendly service made it a great experience for both of us. They even gave me flowers for Mother's Day, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. We didn't order anything new, but the food was tasty. I had the chicken Caesar salad sandwich, which was very yummy, and my daughter had a chicken tender, which she loved eating with Caesar salad, even though she's usually very picky! Home of a commanders rally watch party. I had to make my way up to Potomac when we first arrived. There was a extremely busy atmosphere security was doing their job not letting people in past their legal occupancy, which was great. The service was top-notch, even with the bar being completely filled with people, these servers found a way to get us our food quickly and we're able to check on us while the commanders were playing. I had buffalo chicken wings, a chicken quesadilla and a couple beers. Nothing really bad to say about anything here. I would recommend this if you're looking for a quick bite or if you are commanders fans like I am this is a place to come to. read more

Don't order the French dip here. They seem unable to understand that a French dip should be able to physically be dipped into au jus. Instead what happens at this venue is your French dip is served with a two tablespoon miniature Dixie cup of au jus. I wanted the chef to demonstrate how to dip a foot long hogie into a two tablespoon Dixie cup, but instead of showing me he just sent out another Dixie cup. Located at a shopping center with ample free parking, been here a few times with different groups and people. Can get crowded on popular nights (Fridays/Saturdays, sports, or when they have bingo or karaoke) and very loud and noisy, hard to have a conversation. Depending when you go, there's a different crowd and age range. The food is ok, typical bar food, people don't really go just for the food, more for a casual night out or some entertainment. A neighborhood bar just to go out and have a drink. It can definitely take some time to get service if you're going on a busy night. read more

Well, I was excited to try a new place, unfortunately we were very disappointed. We ordered chips and salsa to start. The chips were stale and the salsa tasted sour. My husband ordered the fish and chips, it came with a side of coleslaw, he said it was very dry. The fish was good though. My son ordered the chicken bites, they were hard. The music was so loud we couldn't even enjoy talking to one another. I asked them to turn it down, but it didn't help. The one thing we did like was the large soft pretzel. Quincys is that one neighborhood bar that I've always wanted to have in Fallsgrove. A good place to go with family or friends night out with lots of activities to partake. Big island bar with lots of seats and quite a few indoor tables too. They have a large patio seating but they need to bring out the heat lamps when it's colder out. Their wings are arguably the best in town. Always get them as an appetizer. Cheesesteak and burgers can't go wrong here. Their fries (offering two kinds too) and tots are always hot, crispy, and they don't skimp on portions. Very glad to see they have crab cakes on their menu. Hard to find these days. Not much lump crab meat but still very good. It's fried and I don't think they have the option for broiled (my ordered option). We love that their happy hour ends at 7, which is great for us. Now when they do have bingo, they dim the lights and start blasting numbers on the speakers. If you don't like it, take a look at their weekly activities list, which seems to be the biggest complaints on Yelp. read more

managers sitting on computer entire time I'm waiting g. Only kids running around. Appears chaotic. I've waited 30 min for a plain cheeseburger that I was told the kitchen messed it up in kitchen, adding different condiments. I'm still waiting and it finally comes out well done and not medium rare. Ate there any grown ups working here? I had to go get manager to get involved and he said the kitchen keeps messing up the burgers. Went last night (Friday) with friends and SO lucky I made reservations. We arrived about 6p to a packed restaurant, VERY energetic atmosphere and greeted by a very nice hostess who explained she has 2 tables waiting for the party to finish up and we would be seated soon. We didn't mind waiting and appreciated the hostess being honest. The manager was out on the floor helping out, all staff were working hard for a packed house. Customers seemed to be having a good time as it was Happy Hour. Once we were seated, our waiter came by to let us know he'd be right with us. We weren't in any hurry and wanted time to chat with our friends, so the short delay was fine. We ordered drinks which were served timely followed by ordering our dinner. Everyone ordered something different so it was nice to see a variety of meals. I had a hard time deciding and enjoyed what I selected and because everyone enjoyed their meals, we will be back to have some of those other selections I didn't pick. I ordered the California Chicken Club sandwich which was delicious served on a ciabatta roll. They allow you to choose between grilled, blackened or fried in the buttermilk batter. I picked the fried and wasn't disappointed. I selected sweet potato fries with my sandwich which I must say were very good. Sometimes places serve them and they aren't the best, but these were crave worthy. My husband ordered the chicken tenderloins and great portion size and delicious. He selected 2 sides, crinkle fries and steamed vegetables of the day. I'm not sure if it was a miss by the server or if we didn't notice, but no sauce/dressing came with the tenderloins, but we did later flag down our waiter & requested dressing which they brought out right away. The chicken was tender, moist and flavorful. The buttermilk batter was very good and would absolutely order it again along with the tender crinkle fries, not overdone. I did notice that all the Burger choices could be made with beef, chicken or vegan choices, which is great options. The 2 salad selections (Wedge & Cobb salad) our friends made and commented that they were happy and found their meals delicious and good portions. I love a good sized salad and they're on my list to try as well upon one of our expected returns. Everything that I saw being served at other tables looked really good too. The menu is diverse enough to appeal to everyone and kids menu is available as well as brunch menu on the weekends. As of today, this restaurant did NOT charge service charge nor different cost for cash or credit. Now I didn't give 5 Stars only because of the noise factor. As mentioned previously, not sure if it was a typical Friday night energy or where we were sitting (in the front) that contributed to the noise level, but my husband had to use his outdoor voice for our friends to hear and there were times if I wasn't reading lips, I wouldn't have known what my friend said who was sitting next to me. We did experience the bingo games which took place later on during our dinner. That seemed to be enjoyed by many and probably some regulars. The atmosphere is very comfortable, relaxed and any sports you desire are front and center on SO many TV's, I couldn't even tell you how many there were. They also have karaoke later in the evenings too, which we didn't stay long enough to check that out. We noticed the nice sized outdoor patio space which I'll remember once spring comes back around as we are always looking for good spots to eat outside on nice days. In short, we'd definitely return and I look forward to trying other menu items, but I think my husband has found his go-to place for large chicken "tenders". read more

I was not planning on ordering the Bottomless Brunch, but gave in after my brunch companion was getting the same and when I started to figure out the cost I was going to pay overall (à la carte), it was close enough to the cost of the Bottomless Brunch, so I gave in. Plus, I got one penny mimosas with it - can't beat that. There were about 11 choices of food to select from. Here is what I had: Breakfast Beignets - three nice sized beignets on a plate with dipping sauce. Sprinkled with powdered sugar. We ordered this to start off our brunch and ended our brunch with another serving. Quincy's Breakfast Sandwich. I selected Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, and American Cheese. I could have had this combo by itself and be content. Enjoyed the sandwich overall. The choices to select for this sandwich included the following: Eggs: Scrambled or Fried Meat: Sausage, Bacon, Ham or Canadian Bacon Cheese: American, Cheddar, Pepper Jack, Swiss or Provolone Classic PB&J&B (Peanut Butter & Jelly and Bananas - I had them put the bananas on the side because I am not a huge fan of having bananas. They obliged and added it to the side. I slowly added the bananas to the sandwich to try it and it was really good (I was totally surprised). I would order this dish again. Huevos Rancheros came as 2 flour tortilla, scrambled egg, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. I was not a fan of the dish. For the experience I got, I would revisit. read more

When Quincy's South in Rockville closed, we were hopeful that this location could be a replacement. Sadly, it is a far cry from what we came to know and love about Quincy's. We've been twice now... once for dinner about a month ago and today for brunch. We wanted to give it a couple of tries before judging. The menu is close, but not quite as good. And the food is just ok and inconsistent. For example, hubby got the bottomless brunch and was so impressed by the steak and eggs that he ordered it twice in a row. The first time the steak was great and the eggs were ok; the second time (15 min later), the eggs were better, but the steak was just ok. I ordered the BLT, which looked good, but the bread was barely toasted, and the whole thing fell apart when I started eating it. I wound up eating it with a knife and fork! I will say that the tater tots that came with my BLT were a highlight of our visit - on our last visit here, they were fine, but Luke warm at best. Hubby got the bottomless Mimosa with brunch, and they were fine, but nothing to write home about. We were spoiled by the other Quincy's and their service during brunch, I guess. They would refill mimosas frequently, and they were better made. Our server was very nice, but we went stretches of time when we wanted to order another brunch item or Mimosa but wouldn't see him, and it wasn't terribly busy. My family loves coming to Quincy's on Tuesdays for one of their bingo nights. It's a great time and the crowd always helps make the time fly by. They have different theme nights all week but bingo is by far my favorite. The restaurant also offers different menu deals every night and Tuesdays is their half price burger night which is a great deal. They also have a happy hour menu and all the food on the menu is really good. The menu is limited but there are definitely enough options that everyone can find something. One thing I love about the restaurant is how open it is. On nice days the doors slide open and they have a well lit patio. read more

Quincy's Potomac Bar and Grill looks absolutely shiny,new, and beautiful. There is a huge bar and televisions where ever the eye can see. There was tons of staff and they were very friendly. I have been to the Quincy's on Woodglen Drive in Rockville and loved their rueben sandwich. I was craving the Reuben and ordered it with the tator tots. First, let me say the tator tots were crisp, delicious, and I received a huge serving. Why three stars? The sandwich was terrible. The corned beef had no taste and was unrecognizable as corned beef. There was no Russian dressing on the sandwich. There was very little sauerkraut and yet the sandwich was soggy. I realize that when restaurants open they have to get the kinks out, but there was no one in the restaurant and a few people in the tent outside. I also realize that Quincy's is more of a place to hang out, catch a beer, and watch the game. But, they really need to improve on the food menu or I will be heading back up to Woodglen for my sandwiches. read more

I've come here quite a few times now, and while every time has been good, I've got to say I'm always especially pleasantly surprised when I bring my kids here. It has the word "bar" in its name, so I wouldn't really anticipate them to cater to families the way they do, but damn do they do a great job. One time my son spilled his water (and they were SWAMPED) and he and I were both upset, but the staff was amazing and got it cleaned up immediately, assured him it was no big deal and happened all the time, and completely turned the vibe at our table around. I probably should've written a good review immediately after that experience, so I'm sorry for the delay. Anyway, the reason I'm actually writing a review now is because we were there a couple of days ago, and we were fortunate enough to get Dre as our server. He was on top of everything - I can't remember the last time I had service this good. He was patient with the kids (they were raised in Covid times, so social interaction and knowing how to actually order are skills that evade them), and he actually sat down with them to get on their level and understand what they were saying. Also (this is a good and bad thing), he made them what they called "the best Shirley Temples ever", which is good because they were happy, but is also bad because I now disappoint them anytime I try to make one. I digress...definitely hit this place up. And if you're lucky enough to get Dre as a server, tip him well because he's a rockstar. But don't order a Shirley Temple from him unless you want to be disappointed by every other Shirley Temple you have in the future. read more
