You could not get timely service and when you did they were very unprofessional and frustrated. My suggestion would be to hire some people that truly don't mine working in a customer service friendly environment. When I complained server said don't complain to them do a review. I truly hope management can rectify because I truly enjoy coming here because it is close to home and the food is awesome. My focus would be to have additional servers doing peak times and get some competent and friendly bartenders that can greet people with a smile and not treat them like they are the problem coming to spend their hard earned money. Tips are warranted when service is consistent.

We came in on a slow weekday and ordered the riblet basket as an appetizer, Betty boop wrap, and chicken pasta. The riblets were hard and chewy in most spots, along with cold hard fries. The chicken in the wrap had a weird taste to it, but it wasn't the worst. Just not as good as I expected. Unfortunately, the pasta never arrived to the table. After 30 minutes of waiting.. still no pasta out the cooks in the kitchen made an error and that caused the delay. The service was okay I suppose, but I definitely won't be returning to this place.

In Pearland, as far as wings go, we have two big chain spots that aren't my favorite so we decided to check out Big City Wings. They do have multiple locations are town so they must be doing something right. This location is in a shopping strip so parking isn't usually too crazy. The restaurant is large and has lots of seating and a small patio out front as well. Avery was our server and we got excellent service. What I really like about this place is they have pretty great daily specials, especially if you come on a Tuesday or Thursday. Tuesday is buy one get one on bone in wings, and Thursdays is 2 for 1 on boneless wings. I have come on both days and it's a great deal and a good way to feed alot of people. I think most would agree that bone in is the move when it comes to wings. It just packs more flavor. Don't get me wrong, the boneless is good too, but it's basically just a glorified chicken nugget tossed in sauce. The bone in wings here are a decent size and they cook them like I like it, crispy on the outside while maintaining juiciness on the inside. Both the dry and wet rubs were well coated as well. So far, I've tried the spicy ranch, garlic parm, lemon pepper and mango habanero. I'm more of a dry rub guy and really enjoyed the spicy ranch. They have quite a few other flavors to choose from as well. We also tried the fried mac and cheese. It was good, but I've had better. I've also tried the tator tots and waffle fries which were solid, but nothing to write home about. Both trips we ordered for a small army since it was buy one get one so I have never made it to dessert. Overall, it's not my absolute favorite wing spots, but it is a nice option to have when I don't feel like driving to my favorite spots. I'll come back.

The server was friendly, but didn't do a good job of fielding the questions my co-worker and I had about sauce flavors. Once we placed our order he informed us that it would be 20-25 minutes to have our wings out. No harm, no foul because we're good on time. My co-worker gets his wings and he was under the impression they were supposed to be dry, but they came out wet. My wings came out a few minutes after his and were correct, but seemed cool for them to be cooked fresh....My co-worker requested to have his wings remade with the correct flavor he wanted, which resulted in him being late to be work. The manager did come out and apologized about the issues. I left him there to make sure I made in on time and give our bosses a head's up. I'd be willing to possibly give it another shot, but I hope the next experience will be better.
