The story is my wife and I were in Sedona this past December, had an issue with our vehicle and took it to Flagstaff to get it checked out. We were told that it was essentially shot and scrambled for options to get it fixed. We called about a dozen places and of them all Flagstaff Auto Repair hands down had the best price, time frame for fixing our vehicle, and overall service. We got our ride fixed and were on our way without missing a beat - Alex and Flagstaff Auto Repair were a life saver. But there's more. Fast forward to February and the issue comes back. We're hundreds of miles from Flag and getting warranty coverage through the local dealer wasn't an option. I don't know what's going to happen, we couldn't afford to repair or replace the vehicle. Then, while I'm at work, I get a call from Alex with a solution: he comes, gets the vehicle, takes it to Flag, gets it fixed, and brings it back - Within a week. And he made good on that. So, I'm sitting here with my ride in the carport doing better than it has in months. I met with Jake who reviewed what needed to be done--he promised it would be done in 4 days and sure enough it was on time. The part was machined perfectly and Jake even came out to my vehicle to ensure everything worked as expected. His work ethic was exemplary. Not only that, he saved me the purchase of a new $500 rack! Although I didn't go in for anything auto related, I certainly would use American Spring and Alignment for future auto issues based on the excellent service I received from Jake.

We are very grateful for Adam at Ascot Automotive who accommodated our request to check the check engine light issue on our Ford Edge even though they were already booked for the week. He listened and empathized with our situation to make it back home safely to California by Friday. When we arrived to Ascot Automotive on Thursday morning, Adam took care of us with great professionalism and honesty. After taking our information, he offered to have one of his staff drive us back to the hotel. He kept us updated from the point of the car diagnostics to the details of parts and labor for the repair. By Thursday afternoon, we agreed to have the repairs done. On Friday morning, our car was ready so he sent Darius to pick us up from our hotel to Ascot to pay and pick up our car. Price wise, the cost of the diagnostic, parts, and labor were very reasonable. I am writing this review on our drive back to San Diego. We couldn't be happier with how well our Ford Edge is running. Most of all, we are very happy with our experience and the excellent customer care Adam, Cody, and Darius provided at Ascot. They definitely deserve a 5 plus star rating!

I had an awful experience with this shop and would not recommend them to anyone. I brought my car…read morein to have the transmission rebuilt. The owner called me and said it was the worst possible scenario and would cost the highest price they charge. I trusted them and paid the full amount, hoping to have a reliable car again. The car drove once and then wouldn't start. When I called to report the issue, they immediately tried to blame me--saying it must have been something I did. It turned out the computer programming (which they outsourced to another company across the street) was done incorrectly. I had to pay out of pocket to tow my car back to them, and the owner refused to reimburse me, arguing with me the entire time. They kept my car for another full week. When I finally picked it up, it started--but the A/C no longer worked, even though it was working perfectly before. When I called, the owner dismissed it and said it was just a "coincidence" that it went out at the same time. Every time I brought up a concern, he backpedaled to avoid responsibility. Later, a mechanic inspected the A/C and said it looked like parts were broken--right around where they would have installed the battery. On top of that, the incorrect programming kept frying my battery, and I had to buy two replacements. When I got my car back the second time, the brackets for the battery weren't even reinstalled--they were just left on the floor of the car. The final straw was when I noticed greasy, oily handprints all over the inside roof and visor above the driver seat. When I called to ask about it, the owner responded sarcastically with: "You're upset about a little dirt inside the car?" He was incredibly rude, did poor-quality work, broke things, and refused to take accountability for any of it. To this day--five months later--my car still isn't fully repaired. It continues to have issues, but I'm too afraid to bring it back to them even though I have a warranty through their shop. That's how little trust I have in them now. I ended up having to take out a second loan and buy a new car because I had already paid everything I had to fix this one--and they left me with an unreliable mess. This place caused more damage than repair and has zero professionalism or integrity. Avoid them at all costs.
