We came back, explained the situation, and asked if there was any way the pizza could be remade. Instead, we were informed that our paid order had been thrown away because someone decided we weren't coming back. The solution? Buy another pizza. It's ironic to advertise "Hot-N-Ready" when the only thing that was ready was to throw away a customer's order and ask them to pay twice. Apparently "paid for" now has an expiration date, and once the timer runs out, your dinner graduates from "customer order" to "employee trash." That's certainly one way to keep inventory moving. The pizza being gone wasn't even the frustrating part. It was watching common sense take the rest of the night off. There wasn't a single attempt to make the situation right, just a shrug and another total on the register. I have to admire the dedication, though. It takes real commitment to turn someone who already paid into someone who somehow owes you more money. That's an impressive business model. If you're looking for a place where customer service is treated like an optional topping, this location has perfected the recipe.
