Personally I like my burgers with a little less char, as these patties can border on crunchy. Overall flavorful though, and much better than you will find at your typical fast food drive thru. What can I say about R Burgers? It's my FAVORITE eatery that's close by and is inexpensive (broke college students rejoice!!! LOL) I always get the same thing, but I'm sure everything else on their menu is absolutely delicious. My go to is their $5 combo box with the burger, fries, and chicken tenders. Everything always tastes so incredibly fresh and the customer service is above all else. I know I can walk in there and order my food and feel comfortable there. They give you your food really quickly (like I think the longest I've waited was at most 10 mins for 4 of the combos). The portions are wonderful. It's real beef and real chicken in the burgers and chicken tenders respectively. The burgers are made to order and the taste (as well as the customer service) is consistent across both locations I've personally been to. Oh, and if you're like me and sometimes have a eyes that are bigger than your stomach, R Burger taste great after being reheated. The location is always clean and the atmosphere is so welcoming! Awesome food and amazing customer service! It was our first time here. The food was reasonably priced. We sat at our table for maybe 4 minutes and one of the workers delivered our food to our table, nice and hot. The food was delicious; the whole family was happy. The manager overheard my sister talking about that she regretted not ordering the fried zucchini because she wanted to try it - a few minutes later, the manager came to our table with a complimentary plate of fried zucchini! Expensive for a plain taste and lack of effort. I asked for my pastrami well done and it wasn't, chili wasn't even hot food wasn't steaming for something that was suppose to be fresh made. The portions here are absolutely massive and it is just the perfect greasy diner food that you need right after a concert! The place was pretty expensive for a burger joint but this day and age I guess that's the norm. We settled for a BLT and a chicken tender meal. The food came out unusually fast. What a hidden gem!! This place is better than any fast food out there! Super clean and cute ambiance, a step higher than those McDonalds/Carl's JR. With the food, it's DEFINITELY better than McDonalds and all those other places. They have Mexican food (quesadilla, tacos, etc), breakfast food (breakfast burritos, sandwiches), dinner (steak), and regular burgers. I had the R burger ($6.79, meal is $8.99) (original burger with avocado and bacon). Super delicious! I think they use a potato bun for the break. They use thousand island type of dressing and it's really good. I couldn't finish it. We also upgraded the meal for $1.29 for zucchini fries instead of regular French fries. It was TOTALLY WORTH IT!! They gave us a HUGE portion!! Two of us couldn't finish it. And I LOVE zucchini fries.. and not just any zucchini fries... I really have to like it. My boyfriend ordered the original burger which was only $3.99. He finished his burger. My only complaint is that I wish the cashier asked me if I wanted cheese with my burger. This is the 3rd time in the last week and a half I've gone to this location and second time ordering a CHICKEN quesadilla and each time it has been complete disappointment. They act like there's a cheese and chicken shortage because once again the tortillas are falling apart because there's no cheese or very little holding it together. Also each time one of the sections literally has no chicken and anorher has one or two slivers! It's what I would make at home for my 5 year old but no where near worth $13! Ever since the other locations opened up in MoVal, the quality at this location has gone down significantly. It's the thinnest quesadilla I've ever had and I'm tired of wasting my money on this, it's not worth it. You get more cheese on a quesadilla from jack in the box or Taco Bell! The other time I came in I got a double cheese burger and it was bland, without flavor and completely fell apart. this isn't unlike any other time I get a burger though but thought I'd mention it - the toppings help but you have to pay nearly a dollar for a slice of cheese if it doesn't already come with it. I'm so disappointed because this was the OG location in Riverside County. The owners need to come back in and whip them into shape because this ain't it. The older gentleman working behind the counter is always nice and super respectful so I have no issue with him but there are several people who just hurry you along. read more
