I called in an order for pick up, I was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. 30 minutes later I arrived to pick up my pizza. 40 minutes later, after waiting in a very hot restaurant, I was told they had lost my pizza and had to make another. In my opinion this is not acceptable. A total of 70 minutes for a small pizza, a so-so sub sandwich and a salad. The location is great for me, 5 minutes from my home, but poor service, and just OK food, sorry, I won't go back. I agree with Michael, the staff is slow and indifferent! read more

Been there twice before only because its either this place or the Mexican restaurant next door in the Country Estates. Ordered a 12 inch sandwich for 7.99 and it was terrible. Took 23 minutes to make and when I got home and had a bite, the bread was stale. Ended up taking the little meat that was on the sandwich and put it on my own sliced bread. Hope they catch on that the service is horrid and the food is way overpriced for the quality. Never again read more

I can't even start to explain how awful their service is. The man there is rude and if you call 90% of the time he puts you on hold and takes forever to get back, that is, if he EVER gets back to you. There has been multiple times where we have had to just hang up the phone and call again. If that isn't bad enough, during busy Fridays and Saturdays they say it'll take up to 45mins which is normal and fine I guess, but then an hour and a half passes and you have to call them again and you realize that they have completely forgotten about your order. The only positives are that its close, the food is decent and there is a girl that works there seems nice but if she's not there then it's terrible. read more

This restaurant survives probably due to the convenience factor. It's very expensive and the food is just okay. I ordered one large pizza for pickup a few days after Christmas. I went to pick it up and I was told it wasn't quite ready which was fine. They told me about 5 min. It was not busy. There was one other party already eating, one lady also waiting for pick up, and one family that walked in after I did and had yet to order. I sat there for over 15 min and finally went back up to the counter and asked about the status of my order. My pizza it turns out had been sitting in the box on top of the oven the whole time. The girl who was working the counter said "oops, I forgot...." There was no apology or any trying to make up for her mistake. She and the other girl were too busy the entire time I sat there talking to the delivery guy and on their phones. It feels like this business just doesn't really care since they know you'll probably come back because it's convenient. They have a why bother attitude. I suggest you make the drive into town.....or stock up on a couple of frozen pizzas to have for those nights when you need the convenience factor. You'll be thankful, so will your wallet and the frozen pizza will taste just about the same. read more

As some have said; the service needs improvement drastically! The garlic bread does in fact suck. The subs are good but being there twice myself, it took forever to get my food both times. read more

I like their 4 cheese pizza, very good. Their wings are good too, very large size wings. BBQ is pretty good. Skip the calamari. I love their calzones, even the small is really big! I love having them nearby and no extra charge to deliver. read more

Bad customer service expensive food for not a lot. The subs have little meat .....go next door to the deli in the country store and you will get a bigger sandwhich with a lot more meat! We no longer eat there do to their horrible customer service and long wait times. read more

Wow, I'm a long time SDCE resident. I have ordered from the original owners, which I found out are no longer around. I haven't ordered in several years and will Never order again. For $23.01, my pizza hardly had any toppings, it was cold when it arrived and the crust was so thin, it was barely there! I called and all the girl said, gee we're sorry about that. Good food, and courteous quick service. We have been ordering food from Ramona Lisa's for years. Try the pasta, and the antepasta salad. The sandwiches are good too, but I don't recommend the calzone. read more

Umm...this place is just bad. Im guessing the only reason it survives is because there is nothing else around. the wine is all corked and no glasses only plastic. they dont have any clue about pizza: they think a chicago poe is just a regular pizza with double crust. this is sad. nice people just have no idea what food is. read more

I went in tonight after placing a phone order for pick up. Not only was I placed on hold for over five minutes but, after I was given a time that my order would be ready, I went to the restaurant only to find that they had forgotten to even make my order. Having worked in food service at one point, I could perhaps understand if the place was very busy. However, with no customers in the store and the help all standing idle behind the counter, I doubt this was the case. This was the first and will be the last time I attempt to order from Ramona Lisa. If their customer service is any indication of the food quality, it isn't worth the money. read more

This has got be the worst experience ever ordering a pizza. All I wanted to do is change my size and they still wanted to charge same price. Whoa. I admit I rarely ever eat bad pizza (I even like some frozen pizzas) but the pizza here was not good. I paid $15 for soggy pizza. It was so soggy I threw it all out. Being the only pizza place close enough to the estates to get warm food my household ordered from this place a lot. Last night we waited over an hour and a half for a single calzone- More than 40min after the wait time I was given when placing my order. The issue here is they do not staff well and have one poor driver rushing around trying to meet their needs at times there should be more than one (like dinner-time). Understandably, I was not happy and wanted to cancel the order because our family was starving and we literally got dressed to go get food because the kids could not wait any longer. When it got there (as we were walking out- 1hr and 40m from when I placed the order) it was clear it had been sitting for awhile and was cold. This is actually the 2nd time that they delivered cold food but because it had not happened prior to that last case I did not complain upon receipt of our previous order. In any case, the manager actually told us to pay for it or we would be placed on a 'no order list'. Yikes, poor choice considering how often we came into their store and food establishment. No problem- My only regret was that I could not catch the driver before he left to give him his tip for trying to meet what is clearly a management issue. If you can not meet the delivery needs of your customers you should be honest about that and not suggest it is OK to deliver cold food more than 40 min after the given time. Thank you for showing us how you do business, we will gladly drive into town from now on and not support your business! read more

it freakin sucks, took them over an hour to deilver a pizza, they said 15 minutes or less and delivery from there to here is 2.5 minutes, very bad service. also a friend of mine worked there before and quoted if you order 10 minutes before closing they will mess with your pizza and the things they do is too graphic to say read more

Pizza is pretty good but a little pricey.You must order ahead for any item on the menus or have it delivered they are painfully slow.Ive seen that pizza has gotten a lot better in the past couple of years they must have gotten new recipes. read more

Service is just absolutely terrible. The gentleman who takes orders is just so rude every time I order. I just ordered fries and he tells me 20 minutes and hangs up in my face. How could an order of fries possibly take 20 minutes?! And then the last time i ordered, he screws it up and instead of apologizing and fixing it, he asks if i could just take it anyways and says "my bad". When telling him I want it fixed, he gets pissed off and just walks away without saying anything and throws a pair of tongs on the table. UNBELIEVABLE. I have spent hundreds of dollars here over the years and will never go back due to his rudeness. The only time my order is ever right is when the younger girl who works at night is there. She has been the only reason I have continued to order food from there because she's always been so sweet to my family and i and she makes sure my order is correct and on time.
