This restaurant is really mediocre. The food is bland. The service is indifferent. It's not terrible. It's not good.

Vibes: - Restaurant was dimly lit with little space between each table - Space felt cozy and warm Service: - Waiter was extremely kind and funny - Course timing was somewhat long but was easily forgiven based on how hot the dishes were Food: - Polpettone Della Nonna (lamb meatballs) had a citrus flavor to it, which was a nice surprise! It was different from the meatballs I've had thus far, but they were pretty salty... - Gnocchi al Gorgonzola was super creamy and rich in flavor - Hanger Steak was easily the most disappointing dish honestly. Portion size was a lot smaller than what was expected given how expensive this dish was

The red sauce and shredded parmesan cheese went well with the main and the side. The chicken parmesan is served with mixed vegetables. Substituting the veggies is not allowed, so I ordered a side of pasta for an upcharge. Although I enjoyed this meal, the minor drawback is the substitution policy. In my personal opinion, I feel that pasta is the ideal side dish for any CP entree. Vegetables should not the side dish unless I'm ordering chicken marsala or chicken francese. Otherwise, I was still satisfied with the food, service and overall ambiance of the restaurant.

The menu isn't massive, but they cover every category with extreme precision and do it really well. Seafood, pasta, veal, chicken, and all the classic appetizers you can think of from stuffed artichokes, zucchini blossoms, and house-made burrata. The ambiance is old-school Italian in the best way: timeless, romantic, and cozy. It works just as well for an intimate date night as it does for a small group dinner. Bonus points for being BYOB. We ordered the veal marsala and the seafood pomodoro. The veal was pounded to perfection and swimming in a ridiculously addictive sauce. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly and loaded with fresh shrimp, clams, and mussels and you can taste the quality and care put in the food. Meals are served with a salad to start, and you can expect to spend around $35 per entrée, which feels more than fair for the quality. We were genuinely impressed and were treated with a lot of attention throughout the meal. The concept of the restaurant being run by two italian twins was honestly so sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for classic Italian done right without trekking into the city.

We started with the stuffed mushrooms and fried calamari. The mushrooms were tender, savory, and packed with flavor, while the calamari was crispy, light, and not greasy at all. For salads, we enjoyed both the Caesar and Maggiano's salad. The Caesar was fresh and perfectly dressed, and the house salad offered a bright, refreshing balance to the meal. The entrees just kept getting better. The chicken piccata was buttery with a wonderful lemon flavor, and the chicken Marsala was rich and comforting with a delicious mushroom sauce. The shrimp scampi was loaded with garlic and cooked perfectly. But the real star of the night for me was the baked ziti with Italian sausage. The pasta was perfectly baked, the cheese was gooey and so satisfying, and the sausage added incredible flavor that had me going back for seconds. Dessert was the perfect ending. The tiramisu was light and creamy, the cheesecake was smooth and decadent, and the famous butter cake absolutely lived up to the hype with its warm, rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was fantastic. The music playing in the background was enjoyable without being overpowering. It set the mood perfectly while still allowing for easy conversation at the table. The restaurant was spotless, and the warm, dim lighting made the entire dining experience feel comfortable and inviting. A special shoutout to our waiter, Nino!! He was attentive without hovering, personable without being intrusive, and genuinely made our evening more enjoyable. We had great conversations with him throughout the meal, and at no point did we feel rushed. It's refreshing to enjoy a leisurely dinner where the staff makes you feel welcome rather than watching the clock. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a relaxed meal with family or friends, generous portions, excellent service, and food that's consistently delicious, Maggiano's is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back.

The space looked modern, with wonderful decors and interior. They also had shaded outdoor seating, hightop tables and a huge bar as well. We started the lunch with blackened Octopus with mango salad (appetizer special of the day), that was a really good dish. The clams casino was an interesting, baked top on a citrusy sauce. For entree, we ordered the Chilean Sea bass, that had a very well cooked filet, but the risotto didn't taste good to me. I got had the Branzino that had extra crispy grilled skin, but the fish itself survived from being dry. The kale was good and mash potato was decent. My daughter liked her penne pasta with butter and cheese. We wanted to get some mocktails, but they were out of virgin mojito, per the server. Not sure how was that possible!!! The disappointing part of the lunch was the mediocre service. Even though I mentioned it was a birthday celebration in the reservation, no one bothered to wish or ask us if we were celebrating anything. Our server only had to attend our table, yet he only came by three times, once to ask us about water, then to take our order, and once after our appetizers were served. Half of the time he invisible and rest of the time he was just hanging out by the register area stairs, chit chatting with other staff members. We refilled our own water and had to grab other stuff members to get extra plates and utensils. I was super annoyed to pay premium price only to experience a diner like service. I didn't even bother to order the Zeppole from the dessert menu. I paid the check and we walked out as quickly as we could.

We went on a Wednesday night around 7PM and while there were a good amount of people dining we were able to get a table right away. We ordered the burrata to start and it was delicious. It was served over oranges and with walnuts which seemed like odd pairings to me but it just worked. I love burrata. It's always pricey, but I'm a sucker for it and will likely order it every time. We got the skirt steak, octopus, Pizza al Tartufo, and Diavolina pizza. Everything was fantastic. The skirt steak was cooked medium rare as ordered and it was served with some greens. It wasn't mind-blowing, just a good skirt steak. I would probably skip this on a return visit so that I could eat more pizza. The octopus was cooked perfectly as well. It wasn't tough and chewy and it had a nice char to it. It was a pretty large tentacle served with an arugula salad. The salad had a citrusy dressing on it which was refreshing. I really enjoyed the pizzas. We went with a white and a red pizza. THe white pizza was topped with fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and black truffle oil. Everything went well together and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering as it sometimes can be. The red pizza had hot sopressata, fresh mozzarella, and grana padano. The sopressata was actually a little spicy which was different from the white pizza. Both pizzas had a great crust with just the right amount of char. It was firm enough to hold up the sauces and toppings but had enough give in it so that it didn't have the texture of cardboard. Service was friendly. The place had a nice cozy feel to it. It's pricey but I'd definitely come back.

The pasta was very creamy and enjoyed the flavor. As someone who loves steak and is picky with how I receive it, I had ordered a porterhouse Medium Rare, the first one we received was overcooked to medium well and our server second guessed me when I brought it to attention. He had to call over another worker to double check and we had to ask once again if we were able to get it redone to our liking before even getting it replaced right away. The second porterhouse we received was done correctly and was seasoned well and had enough fat to make it buttery and melty. Espresso Martini was made well and for Whiskey Sours, if you like them on the smokier side, I would recommend it. All in all, we enjoyed all the food but the only set back for us was that we had to wait a little longer for our steak which we wanted to pair with our pasta. By the time it came out correctly, our pasta was already cold.

We arrived right when they opened (perfect timing, especially with a snowstorm expected later that day), so the restaurant was still quiet. The space has a modern, upscale vibe that definitely feels suited for special occasions. It's located on a busy street, and while they do offer valet, we lucked out with free street parking since it was early. They offer a prix fixe brunch for $39 per person, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. It's a good way to experience the restaurant without committing to a full dinner price point--but be aware that quite a few items come with upcharges, and drinks are not included, so the bill can climb quickly. I do have a gluten allergy, and I was honestly surprised by how limited the gluten-free options were for a restaurant of this caliber. That said, I made it work: I started with a Bellini, had the sizzling slab of bacon as my appetizer, the recovery burger (no bun sub roasted potatoes as a side) as my main, and finished with the salted caramel gelato. Everything I had was enjoyable, but I would have appreciated more flexibility in the menu. The rest of the group (no dietary restrictions) had more variety to choose from and really enjoyed their meals, which is always a good sign. Service was attentive without being overbearing--likely helped by the fact that it wasn't too crowded yet--so we were able to relax and actually enjoy conversation, which made the celebration feel special. The restaurant also has a private back room that looks great for parties, plus a downstairs lounge area, which adds to its appeal as an event space. Overall, for me it's definitely more of a special occasion spot, and while the pricing is on the higher side for what you get, brunch feels like the best way to experience it. I'd come back again--but probably stick to brunch.
