    Double pepperoni 16" pie.
    Paul E.

Doing a tour of "NY/NJ" style pizzas. I've seen this one spoken about on a lot of pizza lovers sites so I had to try it out. It did not disappoint. We got a 16" double pepperoni pizza. Came out piping hot we had to wait a minute to bite into it. Foldability was excellent. Crust was the right thickness and bent appropriately and held up without collapsing. The crust has the right amount of crispness and crunch with the sauce being just right and not "dogging it up". The sauce was also the right taste not too sweet and not a lot of extra, just good tomato flavor and in the right amounts. They used real mozzarella cheese had good pull and not to stringy. Also had the right amount of "bubbles" (love that part). Back to the cheese maybe a bit too much but if you like it cheesy it was that. They provided the right amount of toppings too. Very good and true to a NY/NJ slice. The people were friendly. Service was fast. Ambiance? True to a NY hole in the wall pizza joint. Will come again!

5:45 two customers, we had called just before arriving to see if the had slices and were told yes, two. When we arrived, no slices available. Next customer in, a different worker said we have two slices available, they opted for a pie. We wanted slices so I'm confused. Not boding well for this review. Next customer ordered and recieved a slice. Pizza was ok. I wouldn't seek it out but I wouldn't completely avoid it. Would have given three stars which is my average but reducing to two since, well, the guy lied.

Excellent place for a classic slice or two of New York style pizza! Customize your slice as you'd like or order a whole pie or calzone. Salad and sandwich options available. Service provided at the counter and is friendly and efficient. Order ahead for pick-up. Parking can be a challenge. I ordered - cheese slice: (4/5) GET THIS if you like a huge slice of classic cheese pizza. I believe the slices are from an 18" pizza. - pepperoni and sausage: (4.25/5) GET THIS. Again, huge and super yummy slices. Chewy crust, minimal flop. Nice undercarriage.

Driven by here for many years and this is the first time I've ever stopped for food. Upon entering I wasn't me impressed and thought about leaving because it looked rather neglected in there but decided to give it a try.i got a sausage and onion pizza with a side salad . The salad was fresh and had a very good Italian dressing and the pizza had a great crust and the toppings were good too..

Just moved into the neighborhood and went to get pizza to celebrate. There was a mess up with our order but they gave us the pizza for free. Really good pizza and they earned customers for life with how they handled it! 10/10

I have to say I do love the pizza!! Just pat off some of the grease, and it's delicious!!! Ceasar salad and garlic knots are yummy . The day we went in, it was 100 degrees outside, so a tad on the warm side inside as well. They could update the decor to brighten up the place a bit. That's just a suggestion. We were greeted by a nice guy, and food came out in a timely manner. Will probably be back.

To start it took over 20 minutes to get 2 sandwich's. It was 2:15ish on a Sunday the only other people in the place other than my husband and I were 2 table that were finishing their lunch. While we waited 2 people came in and picked up pizza to go. Tables needed to b bussed, crayons on the floor! Now for the food, nothing exceptional my meatball sub was over cooked/toasted and the meatballs were just half's ? My husband said his chicken Parmesan was ok but definitely not worth a 20 min. Wait

Portion sizes are absurd, you will not go home hungry. Middle-of-the-Pack pizza, in my opinion, but also don't pride themselves as some perennial powerhouse. Literally, the pie was HUGEEEE, and wasn't even the largest option. Racanelli's, a rare pizza parlor, the last of its kind. Great New York flop, each slice a wholesome cut. Lady Liberty would be proud. Ordered a medium pie w/ bacon, G pepp, and onions. Instead, received G pepp, onions, and PEPPERONI. Not really an issue, but will forever wonder how that bacon might have changed my attitude. Garlic knots lacked seasoning attention and felt bland. The breading had no adhesive to allow proper marinara scoops. ***Nest-egg pizza joint. Carry out and delivery available, but also offers quaint dining area, like the old days of birthday parties @ Pizza Hut. Not disappointed, just feel there's plenty of room for improvement. 3 stars***

patio is open? but not open for in person pickup or dining inside, must call or order online. No patio service but can eat out there

There were other people there. The hostess and waitress were very hospitable. I ordered the lasagna with a side salad, and my wife ordered the chicken modiga. We heard the portions were big, and that is the truth. My serving of lasagna was about 4 inches square and about 3 inches tall. Multiple layers of pasta and meat and other yummy stuff. I ate about half and took the other half home. My wife's chicken modiga was also huge. She got two breaded chicken breasts and a pile of pasta. She ate about half of one chicken breast and brought the rest home. The chicken breast that she started eating was great. Nice breading. Nice lemony sauce. The next day we reheated our leftovers. We each got some lasagna, and we split the chicken breasts (I got the whole second one and she got the one she started on the night before). The lasagna tasted as good as the first time. This is what I noticed on the chicken breasts. The whole chicken breast tasted like it had a rubbery side to it. I suspect that particular chicken breast had freezer burn on the one side. The other chicken breast was perfect. I had my wife try my chicken breast and she agreed, kind of rubbery. I don't know if this is a one off thing or if this happens often. As I stated this was my first time there. That is why I am taking one star off for my review. Other than that chicken breast, everything was great! I will eat there again. I highly recommend the lasagna.

Not having been here before I had called ahead and asked for a table close to the entry as one of our party has an illness and not as mobile as he'd like. I was pleased with the table that they had reserved for us and the hostess didn't mention why we got that table, imo that was classy as I had hoped they wouldn't bring it up. It just looked like we got lucky and got a table a bit larger than needed and near the front without being obvious. We had drinks brought out and I had the amore spritzer suggested by the server. It was larger than expected and fairly strong, great taste. The other two drinks were just standard gin & tonic and a beer. All three dinners were excellent: my lobster ravioli, calamari, and chicken Romano. The house salads were very good, as was the shared slice of cheesecake that ended our dinner. The food & drinks were excellent, the server was great interacting with us and doing some give and take, and it was not overly expensive. In cost this would be a 3 out of 4 or a 3.5 out of 5 if the top number was higher expense for a restaurant. Without a doubt I would go back on a date if I was looking to impress.

If you've never tried toasted ravioli, you haven't lived. This is a great place to go to try it. I could eat it until I no longer fit in my pants! They really should have a plus sized clothing department right there in the store as some people are going to need it. Oh, and they have great pizza, too. You can try the St Louis style with provel (which I really like), but I'm pretty sure they have a mozzarella option, too. I've also tried their salads in the past and really enjoyed them. One day, maybe I'll get to try one of their Italian dishes. The place is a bit unusual in its look and structure. If you are going to get a table and eat, go in through the back door. There are some areas that look like smaller rooms, and then there was a larger room where we ate. It's all enjoyable, though. I also want to say that our waitress there was one of the most outstanding waitresses that I've ever seen. She was very friendly and helpful. It definitely added to the experience. I just don't think people realize how good St Louis food is! This is a prime example. Unless you really don't like Italian food (in which case, what's wrong with you?), go eat here!

It was a very large piece of fish. I came with a large bowl of broccoli as a side. And of course it came with the bottomless salad.
