Yippie! I am so glad that Kevin's Place relocated closer to my home. I heard such great things about his pizza, but never went down to Cherokee to experience his masterpiece of a pizza pie. Now that he's only a mile and a half from my home, my waistline may be in danger. I was craving pizza for lunch and wanted to experience some place new, so I did a search on Yelp. Yeah, Yelp of all places of informed me of Kevin's new location. Seeing how close he was to my home, it was a no brainer to head on over for lunch. Kevin's Place has a small dining room and a good sized patio to enjoy your food. Reading reviews, I discovered they all raved about the wings as much as they did the pizza. So wanting the full experience, I had to have an order of them as well. I had my wing prepared, hot & sweet. The sweetness, toned down the hotness. They were flavorful and meaty. I like my wings to have equal portions of flats and drums, but my order was 2/3 drum and 1/3 flats. Since, I favor drums it was okay. My pizza was the bomb. I can easily say it is in my top three for quick pizza delivery pizza. It was a typical thin crust pizza and it was nice and crisp. I had mine topped with sausage, jalapeños and onions. It was so good, I couldn't control myself. I ate all of it, except for two squares. I really was hoping to take more home. At least, I took half the wings home for the afternoon snack. The small dining room is kinda cluttered, so don't judge by looking at the decor. If you do, you'll be missing out on some of the best pizza in the STL area. Only downside of dining at Kevin's is no booze, but I can suffer through that. His pizza is that good. I'll be back? - Absolutely. When: August 8, 2019 Why: New pizza experience.

Hmmm...the pizza was good. That's the primary point of getting pizza - everyone wants good pizza. I've been interested in trying this pizza place for quite some time. They have done excellent advertising around the City. I see signs all time. I'm glad I finally made my way there. They have a "closed" sign on the door even though they are open. I thought I went to the wrong place. I had to call to confirm I went to the right spot. He said the credit card machine wasn't working. He did mention that up front so I wasn't surprised when I got there.

Another fabulous pizza dinner from Kevin's Place. It was hot, fast and reasonably priced. We especially like the deluxe and veggie deluxe. There is always the right amount of cheese, sauce and spices. There is also a choice of cheese but we choose provel vs mozzarella. No better pizza than Kevin's for our family of 5. Delivery only but Kevin will likely deliver it quickly right to your door!

Always amazing food and super fresh ingredients. Kevin has always been super nice to me but I would have welcomed quirky comments, lol. Delicious pizza, a cute house kitty, lovely outdoor space and supporting a local business make this a go to pizza joint!

Ordered pizza for delivery, but should have looked at pizza (burnt bacon) before driver left. Very disappointed, call Kevin, his response was "since I ordered mozzarella cheese he had to cook it longer". I told him the cheese wasn't burnt & why didn't he tell me by ordering mozzarella cheese it would burn the bacon? Kevin responded by saying I was talking to my "peeps", I asked my coworker's did they want the regular cheese or mozzarella cheese, I'm assuming that is what he meant because the is the only time of my order that I was not talking to him. I confess, I am mad now and ask him, "so it's my fault that you burned the bacon on our pizza & I know what to do the next time" and hung up the phone. Check your pizza before you leave his place.

I like the place, and I love the pizza. The manager is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. It looked like he has a nice outdoor area with lots of room, too! A small pizza with one topping comes out to $7.90 and was enough for me to eat and be satisfied with. The pizza itself is great. No complaints at all. I got just a regular pepperoni and now I have to go back and try his other varieties.

Kevin's Place is a cute little restaurant right next to The Mud House on Cherokee Street, aptly named for the owner Kevin. The menu is somewhat limited, as Kevin is the only employee at this time. From what I gather, Kevin specializes in thin crust, St. Louis style pizza and hot wings. Both of the menu items are pretty good...nothing spectacular but alright. There are few quirky things about Kevin's Place that one should keep in mind: - Kevin's Place delivers. And Kevin is the only employee. That means if he's out on a delivery, Kevin has to close up the shop and go make the delivery. So if you call or stop by while he's out, you either have to wait or move on. -The decor for a pizza/wing shop is very strange. The building used to be a cigar bar and has been decorated to reflect that. Leather couches and dark wood don't scream pizza and wings. At least not to me. Kevin himself is a very nice man and I very much like to support local business, so we try to eat there when he's around. And I also heard that he is moving locations soon - just down the street on Gravois, near Shock City Studios. I wish him nothing but good luck in the future!

We sat in the next room over at a high-top table. Our food was delivered in a timely manner by a friendly server. The STL salad was great, lots of peppadews, tomatoes, and onion. The dressing was just right, not too much and had a bright, vinegary flavor. The sandwich came on a brioche bun and it was so soft! I was happy with the sandwich, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the avocado ranch was good. Great for a late Sunday lunch, quick and easy with good service and great food!

Was a tiny lil corner store turned into this lil deli and judging by the foot traffic while I was waiting, most are stopping in to grab a sandwich to go. Only a few small bar seats in the place and a couple of picnic tables outside. Definitely worth the visit and I could see this place really doing great if managed properly. It's an old-looking sandwich joint on the Hill. Very little wall space visible due to the Berra and family tributes. Seems like the kind of place that should smell faintly of cigarettes decades after anyone smoked in the building, but it's actually clean and cool. The communication could have been better. Upcharge for my choice of bread. No prices are provided on the menu. Sandwiches, sides, and a drink for 2 people for $35 was much more than we anticipated. I wouldn't mind returning, but my wallet would have something to say about it. This is at least somewhat the fault of inflation... but with prices not posted in the restaurant, I wonder whether the prices vary. Maybe we paid a higher price as we attended the day of the house tour. Maybe not.
