This place is amazing! I needed somewhere close to work for Smog so reached out and got a quick response. I came in the next day in the morning and it was done so quickly (15 min), but he checked my engine for me too and found mouse dropping all over it. I've worked in the hills for 6 months, but it was still surprising so I had them clean the engine and replace my AC filter. Overall it was great service. You can tell Ray loves what he does and takes pride in his work. He's very meticulous and detail oriented which I appreciate. Definitely going to come back. He even topped off my AC coolant for free. Ray was a Godsend to me! My check engine light came on so I pulled into an auto parts store to have it checked out. One of my belts was split and needed to be fixed asap. The auto parts store called RAD Auto and let Ray know what was going on. It was 5:30pm on a weekend. He told them to have me head on over and he would stay and wait for me so he could replace it. I purchased the belt and headed over. He had me out of there within an hour. I needed some other things fixed as well so we made arrangements for me to come back Monday morning for that. He took very good care of me and explained (and showed) me everything! Again, he had my car ready by the next day. He even cleaned my engine!! Since the car was completed elsewhere I found that out it was not the "brake booster" as they stated was faulty AFTER the brakes were done but the brake vacuum! They would have replaced the booster which was not the problem! Diagnosis a vehicle before repairs not after....then tell us what's needed! I understand Ray that times are tough. Your reply on YELP rather than a phone call to me says a lot about you. I never asked for free work nor did I slander you! YELP is a forum to help others decide where to go. Next time pick up the phone or return a customers call. Your YELP response is simply promoted the bad business action! My 30K mile warranty just expired on my 2019 Toyota Tundra. I was debating if I should take it back to the dealer for an oil change, but decided to give this place a try. The mechanics here are very friendly and helpful. I am glad I took it here because he even gave my tips on what to do if I decided to do it myself. It turns out I need a special tool just to take off the oil filter and I would also need an extender to remove the front cover that protects the under carriage. I'm so happy that I decided to give Rad Auto a chance. I got it all done for 1/2 the dealer price and I now know exactly what I would need to have if I ever decide to do the oil change myself.
