Tasty coffee. Location will make or break this business. Its near some sketchy complexes, so a lot to feel unsafe around. I'm just glad it's open in riverside. The service is always phenomenal and I love when the menu changes. You can always adjust the sweetness, which is what I do. But whenever I try the coffee black, it never disappoints. My favorite coffee regardless of what city you find it in. Love the espresso shots in the skull glass especially because you can take it home and use it as a shot glass after. Went in on a Friday afternoon around midday, and there were only about two other customers there at the time. Our order was taken quickly and they gave us some recommendations. I got the limited summer lemonade offered, and it was delicious. Overall delicious drinks and a very unique and spacious interior. There are no tables or chairs to sit inside, more of a grab and go location. It is located in a bit of a weird place, and parking is a bit tight. read more

After I ordered 3 more guests came in and got their drinks before mine including the worker who started his shift at 2:00 pm gave his partner a poptart and made him a free drink before he left. Cute concept and nice selection of odd drinks and pastries. Really liked the merchandise. My daughter bought me a cute orange mug with the logo for Christmas. I used it once, washed in dishwasher and 70% of logo disappeared. Nowhere did it state on mug hand-wash only or not dishwasher safe. I did call store and spoke with nice employee who said she would have manager call me next day. Needless to say, nobody called me back. I'm more upset that my daughter is upset by this since it was a gift she bought since starting her 1st job. read more

It was a super weird experience going here. Stopped in because I've heard of them. Not sure if this is a new location but I walked in and I believe the owners were there along with their kid and 3 other employees. I stood around waiting to be helped and it took a while which is fine but it didn't feel welcoming once they did get to me. Once I got my drink, it wasn't that good. Since discovering this place, I loved it. They make good coffee and they know what they are doing. It's was kinda hard to find good coffee places. This place makes such great Coffee. I came here twice now. I'm going to be coming more on a continuously everytime I get in the Mood for one. So far I've had the Latte and the Cookie Scream. They were both good. I genuinely had NO clue that there was a Rad location right next to where I live! And let me tell you-I am so happy! This specific location has one of the coolest staff working! Every time I have gone-I am able to specify what I want and the staff makes sure to accommodate me and create me a yummy drink! I do wish there was a bit of seating area for anyone waiting-because sometimes the lines can be a bit long. You don't have to wait around for your drink either and I almost always have a full conversation with anyone working before I leave. Not only do the people working there seem like they are having fun; they look like they WANT to be there. And I love that! Makes my day so much better to see other people loving their work and life! I definitely recommend this location specifically. It's literally in a corner so it can be easy to miss, so maybe a sign on University would be helpful? I also found out that the owners of Rad Coffee are a married couple that design everything themselves! (Happened to find out from a girl working here because I asked her where the promo items were printed & wanted to get in touch with them to see if I can bid to print their promo items for them). Apparently the owners have a new seasonal menu they make themselves and also design all the vinyl stickers/promo items! The lack of a welcoming environment is notably conspicuous and, understandably, disheartening. This circumstance proves particularly inconvenient when attempting to arrange brief coffee meetings to catch up with acquaintances. The absence of an alternative proximate location compounds this disappointment, as the closest alternative resides in Upland. Furthermore, the parking situation at the Riverside location is less than favorable, characterized by a scarcity of available spaces. It is important to highlight that the vicinity is also prone to transient activity, leading to instances of engagement with such individuals. On a recent visit, I was witness to a confrontation between two transients in the vicinity, with security personnel intervening to manage the situation. While my sentiments toward Rad Coffee as a brand remain positive, my experience at the Riverside location has regrettably been marred by the aforementioned shortcomings. Literally the best coffee!!! I have been going for a week straight and everyday my coffee has been hitting! Tiffani C is so patient and nice and she's been giving the best recommendations. I always come not knowing what I want but she lets me ask questions and take my time and then she makes my accommodations happen. I ordered a coffee that wasn't on the menu because I saw it on the Upland locations yelp not knowing it's seasonal and they made it with no complaints.
