Matcha Latte cold, sooo good :) I visited Radiator Coffee Salon as one a Yelp Elite event and I was not disappointed. Nestled inside The Clancy hotel, Radiator Coffee Salon sits right inside the entrance. The aesthetic is very upbeat but neat, clean, and considered. The line was very short and they are very welcoming to dogs if you decide to bring a pet! I got the iced Matcha Latte and a yogurt parfait. Personally, the Matcha Latte was a perfect blend for me. Not too sweet, not too match-y, and the right size. The caffeine did kick a punch (as someone who rarely drinks caffeine, my body reacts a lot to it!) but that is probably a plus for most people, lol. I will definitely visit again if in the area and I recommend Radiator Coffee :)

Stopped by for a Yelp event, and wouldn't even have known it was there if not for the event. Parking around the area is pretty difficult, so hubs circled while I ran in. There was a line, but the staff were really bustling to ensure the line moved quickly. Prices seem reasonable. Ordered the coconut/almond milk vanilla latte, chorizo breakfast sandwich, and banana mini loaf. Good size lattes that arrived piping hot, and appreciated the coconut/almond milk choice. It was a good cup of coffee. The chorizo breakfast sandwich was heated and served hot as well - so good! Had the banana mini loaf from Craftsman and Wolves before - moist and subtle banana coconut flavors. The set up of the coffee shop appears clean and quite comfortable. Could be a great set up to do some work given all the outlets, but no chairs at the moment. If I worked in the area, this would be a good place to do some work while enjoying a cup of coffee and small meal/snack.

What a great little coffee shop in downtown right inside the Clancy! Great place to try out if you're into exploring different coffee shops. Location: it's in the hotel, so really good place to get breakfast if you're staying around or at this hotel. Parking might be a problem but there is some street parking around. Menu items: Mocha - great taste, good size and really strong even if mochas tend to be on the sweeter side! Iced matcha - great flavor, a little more bitter just an FYI for all you sweet matcha people ;) Cheese quiche muffin - a good size! I split it with my boyfriend and we honestly thought if one of us ate the whole thing we'd be good all the way until late lunch time Almond croissant - AMAZING, flavors were great Prices were not bad, I was able to catch the lovely barista Paola RIGHT as she was closing up, she was sweet enough to make me my drinks. Bless her soul and her wonderful service!

Updating my review solely for the matcha latte. Sooo delicious! The matcha was hand-whisked rather than using a pre-made concentrate. It tasted slightly sweet and had the signature strong green tea flavor without being bitter. This is my new go-to drink order from Radiator :) Another update is that during the height of Omicron, the pillows and many tables and chairs have been removed, which I absolutely think is necessary. There is still an ample seating area but not as embellished, so this is more a grab & go place for the time being.

    Chocolate croissant, cappuccino

The coffee shop is tucked away in the hotel lobby, which definitely made it a little hard to find. There also isn't any seating specifically for the shop (I guess by nature, since it's part of the hotel) I got a cappuccino and a chocolate croissant. The cappuccino was good; quite smooth and rich. The chocolate croissant was somewhat disappointing. I saw that they have a big tub of croissants stacked up in a box, causing them to get squished a decent amount. It tasted a little stale, and even though they give the option to toast it (which was nice!), I could tell the croissant wasn't super fresh. Probably wouldn't come back again unless I was in the area!

I arrived around 8:45AM on a Friday. The location was a little hidden at the corner; there was a side entrance into the hotel that led straight to the coffee bar. This yelp experience was a nice way to start the day off. The barista was really friendly and pleasant to talk to. For a coffee and pastry stop, it was very quick and there was no line. At the time we arrived, there weren't many pastries left and were offered anything else. We both selected the Kouign-Amann to go with our iced vanilla lattes. The top of the Kouign-Amann was studded with large granules of sanding sugar, creating a crunchy texture even untoasted. Considering how much sugar the Kouign-Amann was coated with, it was inevitably sweet. I took the pastry to go and did not warm it up, but it was still flakey. I believe the cafe uses beans from Equator coffee; while I'm not very familiar with Equator's beans' flavor profile, the coffee taste was not quite distinct in the latte. The latte was iced with small ice chunks, close to crushed ice, so it was a little difficult to drink the latte directly from the rather large sip hole without eating the ice. Since the pieces of ice were so small, they melted pretty quickly and diluted the drink. The vanilla actually had particulates as if real vanilla bean was used. When I reached the end of my latte, I unfortunately discovered that the vanilla was concentrated at the bottom of the cup. I wish I knew the latte was not shaken. This location is quite out of the way for me and the coffee and food are not exceptional enough to make the trip. The prices are of a normal specialty coffee shop in SF, but quality is pretty similar to Starbucks. I suppose as a hotel coffee bar, it is what it is.

Radiator Coffee Salon Ratings: 4.2/5 Food: 4.25/5 - Ordered the ice americano with an additional shot of expresso and cold brew. Coffee was pretty bold, smooth, and delicious. Pretty solid coffee shop in a hotel. There are also other breakfast items such as English muffin sandwich, bagels, and overnight oats. Ambiance: 4/5 - Small coffee shop located inside The Clancy hotel. Cute atmosphere and homey vibe with many indoor seatings available right next to the shop. You can't miss it. Price: 4/5 - Got Marriott status, so the coffee was free as long as I stay here, but I believe all drinks ranges from $4 to $6, so still fairly reasonable price in SF for good quality. Service: 4.5/5 - The lady there had one of the brightest smile on her face, super friendly and fast service. BLUF: Definitely try out this coffee shop when you stay at The Clancy hotel or if you are in the area and want to be adventurous, go for it.

Radiator Coffee Salon is in the lobby of the Clancy Hotel. I don't think they had any signature "hype" drinks but they had all the drinks and light bites you'd expect in your standard hotel lobby coffee shop. I got a note tea and I appreciate that they had looseleaf tea bags. They were fast and friendly.

I ventured to radiator coffee salon, on a Yelp elite valentines offer, with my wife. We rode up Folsom street from the Mission and walked our bikes into the coffee salon entrance. There is plenty of seating space with charging ports all around, and the rest of the space is the Clancy hotel. The workers here were all super friendly and accommodating. The offer was for two drinks and two pastries from Craftsman & Wolves, however they were out of pastries and offered two free breakfast sandwiches instead! We both ordered Carmel lattes with oat milk, and the veggie pesto breakfast sandwich. The coffees were a sweet treat, but the breakfast sandwiches were inconsistent. My wife's was steaming an hot as she pulled it out of the bag while mine was not. Upon biting into my sandwich I found parts that were still cold, and once we compared ours we both noticed that my egg was also more of a scrambled square patty while hers resembled a sunny side up egg with visible white and yolk in the center. So the sandwich was a flop, however this spot is more of a grab and go, and I'm not surprised about the sandwich being underdone since they have no real kitchen to work with. If you're working in the area, or staying at the hotel this spot has your coffee fix and morning bite ready to go!

This coffee shop is located within the lobby of what appears to be a chic, modern hotel, with a great ambience & interior design. We were welcomed with good service from friendly staff. That being said, the menu here is somewhat basic/expensive, and both drinks & food we tried were pretty average-tasting. Also, it's in a tricky part of downtown, so don't expect to find much street parking. I would say this is a good option if you are staying in the hotel or even working in one of the large office buildings nearby--but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back here.

I was in the area and needed coffee. This place was inside a hotel but very off to the side. There was a ton of people inside. Very modern and edgy place. I ordered a caramel latte. The small was about a kids size. Unfortunately was not sweet at all I had to add two packs of sugar. The place is cute overall. The way the seating is set up is definitely out of the box. Overall unfortunately this place missed the market for me.

Pretty chill spot! It closes early on weekdays but the venue is open for you to sit in work. Outlets available. I couldn't find Wi-Fi that didn't require an access code for the hotel it's located in, but the barista told me that there was one. Pretty empty on weekdays, which I prefer. I had an encounter with a homeless man. A friendly woman noticed and helped call security for me since I was sitting alone. I am grateful that someone assisted me, but I really hope the man receives the help he needs and deserve.

The Mocha with the house made nut milk fell flat. It needed something. I am not a fan of syrupy coffees and appreciate the more purist approach but this one just didn't do anything for me. The chai latte which I would never order was actually the best chai latte I have ever had, it was smooth like silk. Maybe I just had the wrong coffee order. Besides that, got the hot chocolate and the coffee tasting. I was surprised there was no explanation provided with the coffee- I figured it's all Honduran but an overview of some sort would have helped. I enjoyed all the coffees in there except the latte. Will visit again, earlier in the day so they are not out of their best sellers and try a different order.

But Katsu is really becoming the new hype of the day for Japanese food, following the Sushi, Ramen, Japanese Curry, Katsu trend. So I came in with a critical view. I feel like Yoshoku in general may be next but I yet again digress. The box sandwich came in a cute little box. The inside was packed so I couldn't get a chance to fully appreciate the cafe, but the service was nice though the pay line may have moved slower than hoped. I'll say this. This is "the" best katsu sando in the bay. The katsu is crispy, but little on the softer side. But this hardness matches perfectly with the absolutely tender, soft, juicy pork wrapped inside. I'm looking at the menu again and it all makes sense. The pork has been in shio koji, making the meat ever so tender while adding the subtle but complicated marinated flavor. The cabbage is plenty, but not over packed to take away from the main Katsu flavor. What really perfects it for me, was not only the sweet and savory katsu sauce, but the mayo with dash of I think a karashi mustard. That slight tingle, the perfect kick gives a powerful awakening of flavor that really sets the it apart. This is art, an artisan. Culinary art is the refuge no raging rampant AI slop "art" can ever hope to touch. Until the day we get some cyborg implant to our brain into gustatory, olfactory functions. Even then, I don't think any tasteless tech bro are hopeless to create anything unique or beautiful.
