Service was amazing! But food was horrible. ordered a ribeye and it had no flavor. Was order medium and the fat on the stake did not carmalize to add any flavor as it normally does. It tasted like I was eating a bland piece of raw meat With no spices added. Their salad dressing did not taste like Ranch just a creamy milk base and the lettuce had large end of the base in it not the fresh green part of the iceberg lettuce. The food quality of this restaurant has diminished greatly. The food is no longer worth their menu prices. It's truly disappointing to see a restaurant loose it's culinary skills. We have been here once before and it was a great experience--this evening not so much. "Sarah" was very loud, obnoxious, and inappropriate. She was disrespectful to me when discussing drink orders, and then was very inappropriate when talking to my husband. The Cajun Alfredo was also not edible. We likely will not be back. I appreciate the manager over hearing my concerns in the restroom and taking the time to address my concerns-but "Sarah" should not be employed at any public place. We were passing through the area and decided to try this place. It was very busy and we decided to wait for a table which wasn't as long as we expected (worth the wait). Service was good and our server was very friendly and attentive. We had the Club Sandwich, Nacho Supreme, Pork Chops, and Filet. Everything was good and the portions were large. The salad that came with the entrees had a lot of fixings on them and came with a croissant which could have been a meal in itself. I understand why this place is so busy since it's good. Just stopped in for dinner, the parking lot was packed so we were afraid we'd have to wait. Well, not so, we were seated immediately, and five minutes later we have our food. We stopped by for lunch after a doctor's appointment. Never been here before so they recommended their Fish & Chips since it was the Friday special and the Prime Rib Sandwich. The menu says after 4pm but this Rafferty's has it available all day. Their fries are delicious and perfectly seasoned! My daughter attends WKU and we were looking for a place to grad a late dinner. Rafferty's closes at midnight, but looked as if it was getting ready to close. Our waitress was great. She was friendly and very helpful. I ordered the nacho supreme. It was great. My son ordered bbq chicken. I did not like it. He was not sure if it was the chicken or the bbq sauce that didn't taste well. The waitress was very nice and made suggestions on other items. I have worked in the food industry, and I never complain about the service unless is absolutely necessary. I placed an online order for a grilled chicken breast, a single chicken breast to top my salad from home. I was asked on the phone what side I wanted. Granted, I could have questions why a side was being added, but once asked soup sounded like a cheap side item to add. I was charged $21 for single chicken breast and small cup of soup. When I called to confirm this price was correct, I was greeted by a rude and patronizing manager who informed me that he wasn't sure what the issue was because the items on my receipt were charged correctly. He believed that $21 is appropriate for a grilled breast and 8oz cup of soup. It is important to note that when I ordered, the server did not inform me that I would be charged for an entire meal, with an added charge for a soup that I didn't mention until prompted to! They never told me the price of my ticket until I saw the receipt at pick up, which prompted me to speak to a manager. I understand prices are prices. They are not set by the manager. However, I do not understand how a manager who intends to be successful and good at their job is rude to a loyal customer who eats there on a weekly basis. On a business trip and wanted a nice place to take some of the people I work with out to a nice dinner while at a conference here in Bowling Green. Rafferty's was suggested and off we went. Nice environment, the typical warm and cozy steak and chop house. Only negative of the night was the front door greeting, rather bland with no smile. She then proceeded to sit us right next to a table of ladies when there was plenty of room for separation for both groups. The menu had a great selection without overwhelming you; two of us had pork chops and they other a sirloin. There was a fresh fish of the day, chicken and other choices for almost every taste; the ribs next door looked great. (I guess there is an advantage of sitting close). Salad and a side came with all entrees and a great honey butter roll with the salad, glad there was only one. Chops were very good, moist, seasoned and grilled to perfection. Fresh salad had lots of extras standard like bacon, cheese and more; could have been a meal in it's own. My garlic mash potatoes were average and the fries looked common and were not a hit. Our steak guy had a baked sweet potato with house cinnamon butter that was devoured, made my mouth water from across the table. Server was very attentive and everyone helped each other, outside of the hostess the level of service is above average for this type of place. This place is a pleasure to go. The ambience of the interior, with dark wood is lovely, but the place can become over lively and crowded. Certainly so, as the food and settings, are especially good. This year, as last year, our meal was memorable. Although, I did not care for this year's, rough and gruff waiter, who kept colliding with my chair. Came here May 14th, 2022 with a friend while visiting the area and had Tessa as a server. Regarding the food, it was DELICIOUS, All of it! My friend got a prime rib dinner (ordered the open face sandwich, but this mistake was fine). I ordered a bbq bacon chicken sandwich. The salad was the best part of the meal though; best salad I've probably ever had hands down. The hot bacon dressing was amazing and I got honey mustard as well. Super good. Our server was Tessa and she was such a sweet southern bell. We asked questions about the area and she took the time to politely respond and give advice, even though she might've been a little busy. If so, oops sorry! Lol but it was much appreciated. Food came SUPERRRRR quickly, yet was still hot and delicious. No complaints; Tessa was quick to deliver and bring back things we needed. I went to Rafferty's for dinner to celebrate an occasion. I ordered the ribeye, medium. When my salad came out it had no dressing. By the time a server or food runner came by, it was to bring out the steak so I just had them take the salad away. I cut into the steak and immediately see the center of it is grayish pink. Not red. A good runner brought me a refill and I told her it was over cooked and that I ordered it medium. She admitted it was definitely over cooked and sent it back to the kitchen. About 12 minutes later the server brought out another steak. She tells me that she had them cook it medium rare because the kitchen said the last one was medium and had a red center. I cut into it and it's nearly rare. I told her just take it off our bill because I wasn't paying for something if it can't be cooked correctly. The server said she'd have a manager come out and talk to us. After 10 minutes the server brought the check. She removed the ribeye but no manager ever came out. Instead of a $26 ribeye I settled for a $17 Five Guys burger and fries. read more

We stopped by Rafferty's for an early dinner on 10/6/17 and had a good experience. We liked the atmosphere, both inside and out. There are cute benches and seating on the front porch and the back deck looked like it had a good amount of seating. Our server, Jeana, was very pleasant and attentive. A manager also went around and asked everyone how were doing and made sure everyone was taken care of. This was nice to see. The food was pretty good. We had a nacho for an appetizer (see photo). Despite having them leave off the queso, sour cream, and hot peppers, there were still a lot of goodies on there and it was yummy. My husband had the Kona chicken with mashed potatoes for his side item (see photo). The potatoes had skins still on them, which we both like. The salads are much better than typical restaurant pre-made salads and were really good (see photo). If you're in the area and looking for a place with good food, great service, and a good atmosphere (for watching sports or otherwise), I would give Rafferty's a try. read more

This was my second time visiting this location and each time the food has been fresh, the waiter has been tentative, and the food is always great. I gave a 4 star because this makes my husbands 7th or 8th time visiting and his complaint was that the grilled chicken he was having was tough when every time before tonight, has been great. Bathrooms were very clean which is a plus for me. However, given the pandemic we've been faced with, shortage of eager workers, their customer service was wonderful. read more
