We were charged over $300 for an inspection related to an issue that had already been documented and discussed with staff in 2024. We had previously decided not to pursue the repair due to the cost, yet we were still charged for a diagnosis of a known problem. When we raised our concerns, the owner offered several explanations and only provided a partial credit, which we found unacceptable. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. In the past, we were charged more after incorrect parts were ordered for a repair, and on another occasion a quoted price changed when we arrived to pick up the vehicle. Based on our experiences, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this business.

My Miata is 26 yrs. old with about 112,000 miles, and it was also due for it's second timing belt replacement. So, I decided to have the timing belt, front engine seals, thermostat, and coolant hoses replaced at the same time. This was my decision, since it saved me duplicate labor cost for the repairs. Sean was able to schedule me as soon as the parts arrived, and finished the work in a day. My car runs like new again and the new low temp thermostat should help to keep the engine a bit cooler during our Arizona summers. Once again, I am very pleased with the friendly service and quality work done at Saguaro Automotive. Also, their prices are competitive with other good quality shops or car dealerships. I took my car back to them again. It was under warranty. Well, this time, a young man asked me to open the hood. I did, he lifted the cover over the engine, and he said there was no leak instantly. At that moment, I was very upset. I took it back to another shop to be diagnosed. two mechanics confirmed there was a leak, and they even took a picture of where the leak was. Finally, we came back to them, they lifted the car in the shop, and they could see the leaks. To make a long story short, they were not very friendly to me. Time will show, did they really fix the oil leak? And I noticed, my door locks were not working; when I left my car, all the locks were working. I had to take another shop, they fixed the problem. There are some customers who were happy with their service, but I am not happy with their service. I will never take my car to them, while they are working on one problem, they created another one .
