Great little pizza spot! I just moved to the neighborhood and this was my first time here and I called in for carry out. The girl on the phone couldn't have been nicer and when I went to pick up the pizza the two guys who helped me were just as friendly. The one guy said he hoped to see me back and he definitely will! The prices were very reasonable and the crust on the pan style pizza was very good! Really chewy and had a wonderful taste!! They should make breadsticks out of that dough!!!! Got through once only to hear what sounded like an employee training another employee on how to take phone orders however, they never once acknowledged there was anyone on the phone! Raimondo's certainly was much better than I expected. It's the day after Thanksgiving and my boys aren't leftover fans. After a day of shopping, this hot, tasty, takeout pizza was just what we needed. Location: nothing fancy but there is a family dine in section located adjacent to the take out counter. It was clean, again nothing fancy. Pizza: we opted for a pepperoni and an everything. Both were excellent. The pepperoni was smothered in cheese with the just the right amount of spice and sauce. The everything loved up to its name. It truly has every topping available. I was pleasantly surprised to see old school style sausage included. It had such great flavor. All the different toppings married together for each bite. The crust is thin with a thick piece at the edge, it's tasty and made well. If I had one request, it would be to add an additional minute to baking to firm up the bottom of the slice. I'd visit here again without hesitation. I gave 4 stars because it's pizza, it's pretty hard to mess that up, you've got to try to make a bad one. read more

We were visiting Ft. Wayne for a weekend getaway and the kids wanted pizza. We ordered for take-out from Raimondo's after checking Yelp reviews of many other local pizza places. Our pizzas and food were ready on time with zero extra wait. Location was easy to find and staff was very friendly. Best part is that the kids loved the pizza and there were many choices. Can you believe this is a half order of spaghetti and a half sandwich?! The bread on the Stromboli was perfectly toasted and sauce had right amount of heat. Spaghetti was good, sauce was good and the meatballs were good, too. Service was friendly. We sat in the dining room. Very casual and plain, but it was fine and clean. 2 half sandwiches, the spaghetti and 2 drinks for $18. Well worth it. It's not the BESTTTTT pizza in town, but you will never be disappointed. It's a very consistent, solid pizza place that is great for the price. The pricing is comparable to Pizza Hut or Dominos but those places are garbage. So if you want dominos prices but actual good pizza, come here! What a place. I'm there at least once ever few weeks with some guys I work with for lunch. The food is always on. I've never had a bad meal there. First off, the pizza is one of my favorite pizza ever. I don't know what it is but to me the flavor of their pizza is like no other around. The spaghetti and meatballs is great. Huge portion and 2 big meatballs. Very good. The sandwiches are also equally good and have had quite a few. The sausage roll is definitely on, but I got the pepperoni roll once and it was super greasy. Don't know if you can control that thou. It's pepperoni! But for me it is one of my favorite lunch spots that I always enjoy going to every time someone says, lets go to Raimundo's. Ok! Let's go there!!! There isn't much to the place. Just a front entrance room, then a basic seating area for you to chow down on their food. I do recommend you try their pizza at least once. I think you'll enjoy it. A lot! Plus as of recently I've been trying to eat better these days and got the chick cesar salad. Dang, that sucker was good. Highly recommend the salad. Oh my gosh - be prepared to gain ten pounds!! Raimondo's is near my office and we all frequent it - from the hot food to the large, fresh pizzas, this place delivers! The baked lasagna is ahhhhmaazzing and their subs are a staple! The pizza sauce is sooo good it's making my mouth water to write about it! The salads are large and for a small plaza space, the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. The pricing is also very reasonable! Went here on a Saturday for lunch, and it was completely empty! The food was excellent, but the service left me disappointed. First, the food. I ordered a 12" chicken club pizza and it was very good, delicious! I wanted to keeping loooooong after I was full. My girlfriend ordered half a salad and a turkey grinder. The half a salad was bigger than most restaurant salads, and reportedly very good. I had a bite of the grinder, and it was awesome! Second, the service. We walked in the front door and were confused whether we should seat ourselves, order at the counter, or what. We were watched by a similarly confused employee staring at us from 5 ft away. I had to break the silence by saying... "so do we seat ourselves... or what?" Then ensued a halting conversation where we slowly milked information of how to order and what was good, etc. from the employee (order at the counter then seat yourself.). So the service was pretty bad and would normally be -2 stars. However, it became clear that it was the youngish (14-16?) daughter of the owner. The owner came out and heartily greeted other regular customers who arrived after us. So there is a lot of potential, just not up to snuff this time. As a side note, this is in a strip mall outside of downtown. I don't normally have high hopes for mom and pop pizza strip mall stops, but this was soooo good. read more

I have never eaten here before and this was not the way to start off my first experience. All the man kept saying was what else, what else, what else. I was born and raised on the East Coast, Philly to be exact. I'm not a fan of the pizza chains, so I've been searching for good pizza from a privately owned shop. I've found it. It's Raimondo's Pizza. I've ordered from Raimondo's twice. The first time, I ordered the white pizza and half a Cindy's salad. The pizza arrived when promised. It was hot and freshly made. The crust, which is the most important part of any pizza, was tasty and crisp at the edges, with just the right amount of chewy texture. I hate rubbery, pasty tasting crust! Ugh! The salad was cold and beautifully dressed. The lettuce was crisp as were the rest of the veggies, all the way down to the green onions. And, the portion was huge for a half salad. I was impressed. The second time I ordered, I chose the "Pick Five" which is a large pizza with five toppings. I picked red onion, mushrooms, black olives, jalapeños and fresh tomatoes. Again, it arrived on time, and was delicious!! Crispy jalapeños, sweet fresh tomatoes. So, take it from me. Do yourself a favor. Next time you're craving pizza, ditch Papa's and the Hut, and get it from Raimondo's. It'll bring a little East Coast to your taste buds! read more

Every time I'm in Fort Wayne, the two places I have to hit for lunch or supper are Coney Island and Raimondo's. The pizza is stellar - even the plain cheese pizza stands out compared to what other pizza shops serve - but the sandwiches and salads are outstanding as well, and the prices are all very reasonable and the portions plentiful.
