We ordered two cappuccinos, a mocha, two Berries crepes, and the Short Rib Sandwich. The cappuccinos were perfectly balanced with rich espresso and silky foam, while the mocha was smooth, chocolatey, and not overly sweet. The Berries crepes were incredible -- topped with fresh berries, wild berry sauce, and whipped cream, light yet indulgent at the same time. The Short Rib Sandwich completely stole the show: tender braised short rib with Gruyère cheese, Dijon mayo, and arugula tossed in citrus sauce on warm ciabatta. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Even with the Mother's Day rush, the atmosphere still felt warm and charming, like a little French café tucked away in Henderson. You could tell the staff was hustling nonstop, but the food and experience never suffered. This place lives up to the hype and then some. We'll definitely be back.

The interior design is open seating, has plenty of natural light, and has a bright design. Very welcoming and a nice spot to spend a few hours! Although the food is not bad, my only gripe is that the spot is pretty expensive for small portions. Almond Croissant (7/10, $7) - It has a fantastic almond crunch paste on the inside that was not too sweet, but very filling. - The croissant was nicely toasted. Prosciutto Sandwich (6/10, $16) - The sandwich comes with a small side salad that was pretty bland. Just some vegetables and some dressing that tasted a little sour. - The bread was delicious, the prosciutto is tasty, and their cheese blends everything together well. - The reason for the 6/10 and overall 3-star review is because of portion sizes and price. At $16, I would expect a side of potatoes. Friends got their eggs Benedict, and at a similar price point, it came only with the Benedict and no sides. Overall, a nice, cute spot with plenty of seating and parking and good coffee. Expect for things to be expensive and portion sizes to be small, hence the lower star review.

I found a space and only had about a two-minute walk to Public Works. The space is industrial but cozy, and I love the little community library in the red phone booth. That's such a cute touch and very on-brand for a neighborhood spot. It also turns into a wine bar at night. I ordered the iced matcha honey latte with almond milk. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Almost milkshake-like. (Not frozen, just thicker and sweeter than a traditional matcha). I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an earthy or classic matcha. The texture was a bit grainy with some settling at the bottom, and I did get a small clump in one sip. Not a big deal, just noticeable. If I had to guess, they use a pre-sweetened matcha powder. They don't advertise having pure or ceremonial matcha, so I'm not too pressed. Just sharing my experience. Service was quick and I got my drink within just a few minutes. There's plenty of indoor seating plus a spacious, dog-friendly patio. The vibe is very social and family-friendly, with lots of conversation, families, and groups. I personally wouldn't come here to study or work, but it seems like a great spot to meet with friends or family, or just a casual coffee run. I'd come back when I'm in the mood for something sweet. I'm curious to try the Cuban latte next time since it gets so much love. I'm glad I checked this place out.

I remember visiting once but maybe or maybe not buying a drink, then just never returning since it was a bit out of the water. But I relocated to a closer Henderson neighborhood and started checking out some of the nearby casinos, and it just seemed like a good idea to stop by today... and take advantage of a casino partnership as well. I tried two drinks. The Cold Brew ($7.00, 24 oz) felt like a dark roast at first but expressed mostly fruity notes later on. It was certainly smooth and low in bitterness and acidity. I also wanted to try a latte since that tends to be where these cafes get the most creative. The Cuban Honey ($7.00, 16 oz) was the recommendation of the employee at the register, and it was simple and tasty enough. Milk, honey, and cinnamon are some very classic and comforting flavors, and they're beautifully balanced in this latte. I was also interested in trying a quiche ($5.95), so I did. They come as a compact "personal" size and apparently just get heated warm for you even if you're taking them to-go. The Florentine is definitely spinach-forward but also seems to have mushrooms and caramelized onions. The crust is suitable, the egg custard isn't the most amazing, and it leans a bit salty overall, but it's an enjoyable food option. I probably blew past the parking lot which I'm vaguely aware of, but that's because parking was actually available on the street. Some spots were marked for 12 min only, but there were plenty of open unmarked spots a few yards up. The place was almost empty around Saturday lunch too. I have no idea why since it seemed quiet enough for a study or work spot. Public Works has filled a coffee-seeking niche in this area of Henderson for a long time, and hopefully they'll do so for years to come. If you play at Emerald Island or Rainbow Club, ask the casino about using points here since it's as good as money.

We recently discovered their "wait in line" feature on the app, and it made the experience so easy! The app estimated a 10-20 minute wait, and by the time we arrived about 15 minutes later, we were taken straight to our table. From the hostess to the wait staff, everyone was incredibly friendly and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. We ordered the Traditional Breakfast and the Tri-Fecta Breakfast, and we were shocked by the size of the pancake -- huge! Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. One of the little touches we really appreciated was having a carafe of coffee and water right on the table so we could refill as needed without constantly needing to flag down staff. It made for such a relaxed dining experience. There are a lot of breakfast places in the neighborhood, but this one may have just become our new favorite. Highly recommend!

So they have a sign up that says if you give them 5 stars on Yelp and show them the review within 3…read moredays, they will give you a free coffee. But I have been here three times and every time I have tried to order, it took SO DAMN LONG to get my coffee, that I just can't in good faith, leave a 5 star review. Every time I have gone in, there's one person doing everything, taking the orders, making food and making coffees. That's certainly not fair to your staff for one, who probably don't make much money and it's STRESSFUL when you're working as fast as you can, but people are waiting who haven't had their coffee. I spent 25 minutes waiting the first time and almost 40 minutes the second time (40 minutes!!!) and the last time I walked in, saw a packed cafe and NO ONE had coffee in front of them - so I just walked out. The coffee was just okay too, it wasn't hot enough the second time I went and my friends coffee had the wrong milk in it and she couldn't drink it. You can be 2 of these things to be successful: if your coffee is expensive, you need fast service and delicious coffee. You can have slow service, but it needs to be well priced and tasty. But you CANNOT have high prices, mediocre coffee AND slow service. This explains the 'give us a 5* review and show us' trick they need to do, because otherwise people like myself aren't going to go back. There are so many other great coffee places around - if you're in a rush don't go here. The atomosphere is too quiet too, you can hear everyones conversation if anyone is having a conversation. There's no music/background lofi on or anything and it's a TINY cafe. It's a little uncomfortable actually, although it does look beautiful and whimsical and cute. I can't speak on the food, I never got to try and and based on my previous experiences - I won't be either.

We stopped in for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised on the cute Farm style decor that was all over the place. The chef and the owner greeted us very friendly and we were seated right away. I had the two egg breakfast and we shared a very French toast that was amazing. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich both entrées were served with either bacon or sausage. The potatoes were homestyle and with tons of flavor! The berry French toast was incredible! The flavors were amazing and you could tell that it had a hint of vanilla and the mascarpone whipped cream was nothing I had ever tasted! The coffee is freshly ground on site and the coffee cup was a generous size. The only thing is that they do not carry decaf coffee so my husband had to settle for an espresso which was a little overpriced. It was explained to us that there is not enough traffic to brew a whole pot of decaf coffee as it's not very popular which is completely understandable. Another nice touch was that the chef came over to our table, checked on us and thanked us for coming in. I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu!
