Second time coming to this lovely, cozy and cool restaurant that feels like home! The friendly and speedy service plus the vast and tasty menu is what keeps everyone coming back for more. My husband ordered the Tuna Melt and I had the Teriyaki Chicken Breast. Everything was p delicious and the portions are huge. It's located in such a beautiful location and there is a cute general store and gas station right nearby. Love them so much! You feel like family when you're there.

Rainbow Oaks is one of my favorite restaurants! Whether you want breakfast, lunch or dinner you will get a delicious meal and a ton of food. I have a hard time deciding what to get every time I eat here. They have a turkey wrap that is one of my favorites and their onion rings are some of the best I have ever had. Today I decided on the Cobb salad and my husband had the tri tip sandwich with onion rings. They accidentally brought me the chef salad instead of the Cobb and when I pointed it out, my waiter brought me a side of blue cheese for my salad. When you order one of their salads, they come loaded with stuff and is always fresh! My husband enjoyed his tri tip sandwich and again had enough meat on it for two sandwiches.

This place is the absolute best! Hands down the best pancakes I've had anywhere the are fluffy and soft and delicious! This time I tried the lumberjack plate with blueberry pancakes and it was amazing as usual and we also tried the French toast combo plate which was also very good! I always love breakfast here & I get to see all the fun vintage cars & motorcycles that roll through!

Stopped by this place on our way back from Escondido. Wilderness themed diner style restaurant. They serve traditional breakfast items along with lunch. We came on a Wednesday at around 10:30 am and had about a 30 minute wait. Service was friendly and fast but they seemed to be understaffed on waiters, so be patient. We ordered Denver omelette, some combo meal, and eggs Benedict. Portions are large and the food tasted good, but not refined. Their house made hot sauce is A+. Miles better than eating at an IHOP or Dennys. Good place for families and if you're looking for a big breakfast/brunch.

We were in the area for a wedding and decided to stop by Rainbow Oaks Restaurant and we're so glad we did! The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe and serves classic American breakfast done really well. Even though it was our first visit, we both ended up ordering from the daily specials instead of the regular menu. We tried the Corned Beef Hash Eggs Benedict and the Meat Lovers Omelette. Both plates were massive and we ended up not finishing the one of the plates, but every bite was worth it. The Eggs Benedict, especially, stood out with its hollandaise sauce. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We'd definitely come back the next time we're in the area!

I don't know what to think of this place. The food was very good, but the service was terrible. I don't know if it was just a coincidence, but our food took over an hour to come when it was served to us. It had hollandaise sauce from someone else's order on the bottom of my plate, which got all over the table and my arm. The food was burnt. It was quite noisy either there, and they sat us in the sun. We asked to switch seats, which seemed to be very difficult for them. They were very rude about it. not thrilled with this place. I think they could definitely work on their Customer Service and being a little bit friendlier especially the guy in the front that was seating people.

Ok folks if u r ever leaving or going to Pechanga casino head over to Fallbrook (worth the added 15 min to get there) and enjoy a delicious, ample serving of breakfast or lunch items. Rustic, down home environment. It's not their staff' first rodeo so they know how to get your order in and know what condiments will go with it. Most of the time you don't have to ask for a to go box.... they already know. Why 4 stars? Personal preference. Not everything served was 5 stars but close.

Huge portions! Our plates were fresh and hot. This is a place where I'll try something different each time I go, everything looked good. We were seated by a very friendly young lady. Sarah was our waitress and she was excellent. The dining room was clean and large with tables and booths. You can also sit at the bar or in a booth in the bar area. I will definitely frequent Rainbow Oaks if in the area.

Lived in Winchester since 2021 and my carpool guy has been literally gate keeping this hidden gem located right before the Temecula weigh station. Finally tried it in September 2025 and we have been back multiple times. Please note the servings r HUGE! Plan to take home leftovers. Texas burger is chef's kiss. If you're going on a Saturday morning, get there early .

This restaurant was on our way to Big Bear and we were hungry for a good breakfast. So glad we stopped here!!! It was AMAZING food!! The staff was welcoming and friendly! The restaurant was packed, but we were seated right away. It was clean and orderly. I really wish I lived in California just to eat here everyday! If breakfast was good, I imagine the lunch and dinner are good too!!! Try the pancakes! They are made from scratch!

Wow! What a discovery! Our friends took us here for the first time and boy, what an experience! We had fresh brewed coffee which was delicious, then we shared their chicken fried steak, well done hash browns, and opted for their biscuit. They brought out an extra plate so we could share the meal. The portions were plentiful, the food was delicious, and our service was on point! I went over to the bar and ordered a non-alcoholic Heineken Zero, and it was brought to our table and conveniently added to our bill. We weren't too fond of the buttermilk biscuit, and will order an English Muffin if we ordered this same dish again. The dining area was really inviting! We were fortunate to hear the national anthem played at 12noon and everyone stood faced the flag and gave the appropriate respect to our flag. We can't wait to be in the area again so we can patronize this awesome eatery again!

The minute you walked in, the ambiance just wasn't it. Perhaps because we were the only minorities there and everyone else wasn't (including the staff) but it was uncomfortable having people stare at us while we were eating and having our own conversations. Someone came to get our drink order and then it took a bit of time for our actual waiter Leila to come take our order. She did mention she was doing something else. we ordered the steak and frites and their pork chop which was the special of the day. I ordered my steak medium rare and the rest of the table ordered it in medium. When the steaks came out, the waiters seem confused as if they weren't sure which plates went where and when asked if that's a medium rare steak, they stated yes. That steak was medium and it was also dry and under seasoned. It was also tough and chewy. The fries were either undercooked or overcooked. Chimichurri sauce had no flavor to it. We did also order the cedar salad which was delicious. Their calamari and wings were as well. At the end of the night, Leila asked our friend how he liked his steak because it didn't seem like he ate anything. He said it was okay and she kept insisting you can be honest and kept pushing the matter. This was extremely uncomfortable because there was no need to make him feel like he was put on the spot. while I understand the need to want feedback, if your guest says it's okay and seem uncomfortable, maybe leave it at that. She then came over to me and asked about my steak and again saying, "you can be honest." Why wouldn't I be? I did tell her the steak was cooked incorrectly, that was not a medium steak and pointed out that it was dry. There was this awkward silence at the table because honestly there wasn't a need to keep pushing. Simply asking how was it would have suffice. They did end up comping my steak which was nice of them however the entire experience just wasn't pleasant. From the ambiance, to the crowd, to the food - wasn't worth it.
