My family and I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant during our vacation, which was a delightful surprise for my daughter. Our experience here was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff warmly greeted us, displaying exceptional friendliness and accommodation. They seated us in the perfect spot right next to the water statue, providing us with a stunning view. The food was beyond excellent - all three of our meals, along with the appetizers and dessert, were simply superb. You can see everything we ordered on the receipt I've included. There was not a single aspect to complain about; everything was truly exceptional. Our server, Zach, was particularly outstanding. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and considerate, especially since it was our first time dining here, and the menu was quite extensive and unique, at least to us. We had a couple of questions, and Zach made sure we were well-informed and comfortable with our choices. The food arrived promptly and was served hot, cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, and the ample parking was a bonus, with a fantastic view of the mountains. I've never been the type to really write reviews. I've had bad experiences at other restaurants. But, not like this. This is probably the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. The atmosphere of the restaurant is the only thing that brings customers. We get our orders finally taken after 20 minutes waiting for our server. I see the people that where In front of us in line get there food and people just sitting down getting there food first as well. By the time we finally got our food, it's been an hour and a half of finally getting our food. Our server and even manager kept giving us some excuse that their "computer has crashed" that's why our food wasn't being made. & all we got was just my daughters plate, the appetizers I ordered. They tried compensating by giving us an appetizer sampler. But, never received my pregnant wife's order. They kept giving us the run around saying that my wife's order was coming but never received it. The waiter said it was all for free for their mistake & after that they stopped paying attention to us & my daughter never got her ketchup nor my pregnant wife got her meal. Nor refills. I never once cussed at them nor acted disrespectful. I tried to be as understanding as I could but they took mine and my family's kindness for weakness. Food was overpriced and mediocre as well. The taco salad was just okay -- the beef wasn't seasoned well, and the overall taste felt flat. My wife also purchased one of their collectible bottles, but it was leaking. When we brought it up to the staff, instead of offering a refund or credit, they just replaced it with another bottle. A small gesture of customer care would've gone a long way. Final Thoughts: Rainforest Café is worth a visit for the unique jungle atmosphere and family experience, but don't expect much from the food. We recently visited Rainforest Cafe to celebrate my son's 8th birthday, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We had a reservation for 5 and were seated fairly quickly, which we appreciated. However, after being seated, we waited about 20 minutes before a manager came to take our drink order and mentioned she would assist us while our server arrived. Our drinks then took about 10 minutes to come out. While we were taking a complimentary photo, our server came with the drinks. My husband politely asked if she could wait just a moment since we were almost done. Instead, she rolled her eyes, left our drinks on another table in the corner, and walked away. She then began helping other tables and never came back to bring us our drinks. We finished our picture within seconds, but still had to wait. After another 10 minutes, my husband had to get up and grab the drinks himself. It was frustrating and honestly disappointing, especially since we were there to celebrate a special occasion. I was on YouTube, and saw that these two guys traveled around the country going to the different rainforest locations. Ever since watching that I have been wanting to visit the restaurant at the Ontario mills. I just got home from my trip to the rainforest. The date is November 26th, and here's my experience. We had reservations, so we got seated right away, and we start looking at the menu. Our waitress spoke very softly, so it was hard to understand what she was saying. We got our drinks, and then we ordered food. At this point the first thunderstorm hit, and it was harder to hear her. Then we wait for the food to come. When the food came, the waitress forgot to put in to orders, so they had to scramble to make their food, and took them off the bill. My chicken sandwich was really good, and then the lava cake came out, and we all said that the cake wasn't worth the price. All an all. I gave it a 5 because of the childhood memories, and I thought my food was good. I really don't want this themed restaurant to go away, because of bad staffing. read more

We had a party of 9 celebrating 3 birthdays. Rainforest cafe was nostalgic to all, so we chose to go there once again. Our server, Kaydence took care of our party flawlessly. Her presence was welcoming and professional. Per her suggestions, we got a few delicious cocktails and take home glasses. She suggested the appetizer platter, which was perfect and delicious. My husband had some questions on the menu and she took her time and provided the substitutes that he asked for. All 9 of our parties food came out on time, correct, and drinks were always full. The food was delicious, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. Kaydence was absolutely amazing. We didn't need for anything, and she anticipated our needs by making sure there were extra napkins, and water was always full. I have worked in the food service industry for over 20 years. I am understanding at all times because I know how demanding this job can be. But there comes a point when understanding goes out the window. We waited over 15 minutes to be greeted. Server wanted our drinks and order at that point. We were ready. We had 15 plus minutes before anyone talked to us. We ordered. It took minimum of 10 minutes for our drinks. Then almost am hour went by before our food came. It was cold and wrong. I saw managers or someone of authority walking around nothing. I was honestly disgusted by the lack of customer service. Every table I looked at with industry eyes was not happy. It clear why you can't make it to 3 stars and honestly I'm shocked that you have 2 and a half. I gave the balloon guy 10 just imagine what I would left you. read more

Great restaurant for people with children. The animated animals and jungle theme are outstanding. Difficult to have a conversation with all the jungle noise and very loud music. I had a spicy Korean stir fry with chicken. It includes rice. The rice was dry, crunchy and either under cooked or leftover from the day before. The service was very poor. Our waitress took our order and brought drinks. After that she must have gotten lost in the jungle. Other people served the food and then disappeared. She never came back to refill drinks, never took any of the dishes off the table. She did make a return appearance to give us our checks. I asked her if she would clear some of the dishes, she said OK, be right back, and walked off. Never to return.. read more

We don't visit the Rainforest Cafe often, but since we were in the area for a movie, we decided to stop by. I enjoyed the food and tried one of their limited-time lasagna dishes, which was excellent. It's a bit disappointing that it won't be on the menu permanently. I'd rate the food a 4/5. As for the ambiance, it was quite loud with music and rainforest sounds. We were seated next to a water fountain, which made it difficult to have a conversation. I'd give the ambiance a 3/5. Our server did a good job, although there was an issue with an unpleasant smell. We brought our summer camp group to Rainforest Café on July 2nd, all the way from Fullerton, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish! The staff gave our kids a tour of all the animals, which they absolutely loved, and the food was delicious. A special shoutout to our main waitress, Cadence, who was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive. She made sure our group was well taken care of and really added to the fun atmosphere. Just went horrible service. I ordered the shrimp sampler platter and the volcanic brownie. The food was cold when it was brought to my table since we are Christmas shopping my mother and I did not want to wait another 45 min. We asked for an extra plate that never came. We never got offered refills and our dessert seemed like it was never going to get there so I had to cancel. I'm a great tipper and I hate not to tip but all this guy did was bring my drinks and my check. This was my first time ever dining at a Rainforest Cafe. The vibe was impeccable and the food incredible. The best part which took the experience beyond any other restaurant experience I've had was our server Lindsay. She took what was already an amazing thematic experience and delivered it 10 fold. Our drinks never ran empty, our food arrived quickly, and she was always there to check in on us and provide anything we needed. I cannot reccomend this resturaunt or Lindsay enough. I wish I could rate this more than 5 stars, but alas, that is all I am allowed to give. They easily deserve 20+ read more
