Been to a couple Churrascaria and this place has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. Came here on a weekend with a large party for a relative's birthday. The waiters walking around with the meats barely came by our table to serve us. We were left waiting a long time in between meats which ruined the all you can eat experience. The waiter assigned to our table only assisted us with getting drinks and refused to try to help us get the other waiters to come by and serve us meat. Service was poor compared to many other Churrascaria places I've been to. In my experience the waiters at other Churrascaria were eager to fulfill any request I've made concerning specific cuts of meat I'd like to indulge on but here the waiters seem annoyed to even be working. The buffet section with the salad bar, appetizers and sauces were good but I came here to enjoy the meat but was left with an overall disappointing experience. read more

I have never written a bad complaint about any restaurant before but here we are. I came here for a birthday dinner with friends and was looking to have a great time. This place had terrible service and not that great food and I do not recommend this place to anyone. We were served maybe 15 minutes into sitting down. For the remainder of the night, we were waiting at least 15-20 mins to be served any meat. My friends and I had to flag down people for service and even then, we were told to wait. I caught waiters giving us looks. Keep in mind every table around us was getting food and service right away. I did not feel welcome at all. We did bring a cake for our friend, and we were told at the end that we would be charged $1.25 per person for a "cake fee". I'm not sure if this was an actual thing, but we would have appreciated if this was mentioned earlier. For the price point you're paying, you'd expect better food and service. Honestly, the best thing there was the chicken nuggets. Most of the meat served was dry or were end pieces. There's better places in the city! read more

I was there with my family and since the start our waiter (Gustavo Mendez) was horrible, he always seemed annoyed when we asked for something for example drink refills which fyi we shouldn't have to ask, he should be asking us if we would like a refill. Also, for a $50 "buffet" I expect a lot more than a medium size salad bar and 10 warm options (with no seasoning). We were celebrating my nephews 21st birthday and it was ruined by the waiter again, I kindly ask if we can sing happy birthday with a slice of cake and the waiter pretty much through the plate and quickly sang happy birthday annoyed and as if we were bothering him. I also ordered a chocolate cake for my 6 year old daughter and he also just throw the plate from across the table. It was absolutely disgusting! my 6 year old asked me why he was upset ! and the worst part is I asked to talk to a manager to kindly inform her about the horrible service we were getting and let me just say the manager was worse. I came here on a busy holiday weekend and the restaurant was packed! The service was excellent! One of the servers, Johnny F was extremely attentive to us and the other diners. He remembered that my fiance prefers well done cuts and that I prefer medium well. Johnny made sure that we were served cuts matching our preference every single time and asked us if there was anything in particular we were looking for, he would get it for us! That was so nice of him to remember us out of a sea of hundreds of people, and he delivered on his promise. He remembered our favorite meats and returned to offer us seconds. Johnny was also great with describing the meats, the flavors used to prepare them. Our waitress, Angie, was also great! She and her coworkers happily helped us out when Angie was busy. Truly a great team of workers who are happy to help each other. It's really great to receive such great service and delicious food! The service was okay because it took over 30 minutes to receive plates and water. I understand that it is busy on a Saturday night but my party of 12 were all just hungry and waiting. My family has hosted our Thanksgiving celebrations here twice (once pre-Covid and post Covid) I bring my buffet loving friends and relatives who don't like the city here. They're ok. As good as Plataforma or Fogo de Chao in Manhattan? Nope. Not even close. However, the buffet salad bar is great with a fair amount of variety if you want to risk it. The food is good, the service is ok, the drinks, though on the pricy side, are also pretty good. My one complaint? This is a Churascaria. We're here for the meats. The last time we patronized this establishment our party of 10 were here for 2 hours, we were NEVER offered the ribs. I don't know if they were saving it for the evening crowd,special guests... but considering the meats that they DID offer were on the mediocre side... I probably didn't miss anything with the ribs, but I would have liked the opportunity to taste them. I was at Rainhaus again this week with a party of 6. This time we were offered the ribs ONCE. We requested it 3 different times before they brought it around again, maybe 45 minutes into our meal. Same thing with the pineapple. It was weird. Now, if they were coming around frequently with various tasty, well seasoned cuts, I wouldn't have a problem. BUT, there were maybe 3 other tables of diners in the whole place and the 3 or 4 meat servers maybe came around twice. I'm not that big a meat eater, so I didn't care. They have a vegetarian one which is primarily fish and seafood, didn't realize it would be different, thought you get both. I came here for the first time with my family. We made a reservation and we're so glad we did. They took our temperatures and seated us once our entire party was there. Due to covid we were not able to go up to the buffet. I really hand it to the servers because that means they have extra work to bring whatever you wanted from the buffet back and forth. The service was great. Johnny kept coming back with our favorite meats! Everyone worked really hard especially as it started to get busier. I can't imagine going back and forth wearing gloves all night along with a mask! My favorites were the chicken wings, ribs and skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. For the sides I loved the cheese balls the most! I also really enjoyed the atmosphere and decor. The lights added a nice touch. It was my nephew's birthday so we got him a piece of cake and the staff sang to him which was really special for him. A few minor things: there is a huge discrepancy between the online menu, paper to go menu they have there and the actual menu. There is no actual vegetarian option, I mean most people who come here are not vegetarian but if you are it'll be difficult to get something. The menu from the QR code states there is a vegetarian option for $43.95 but the waitress said there's no vegetarian option. The other thing was the valet parking. The surrounding area to this restaurant is very busy so it's nice that they have their own lot however there is a valet attendant that gets into EVERY car to park it and retrieve it...not covid friendly to me! We opted out of that and searched for street parking because that valet attendant was in A LOT of cars! Overall we had a really nice family dinner together. I recommend Rainhas. I took my friend here for her birthday and we had a great time. One of the servers (gaucho) Johnny was amazing! All you can eat Brazilian steakhouse for about $50 after tip and tax? Yes, please! The meats are brought to you as you seated and you let them know how much you want. Their roasted pineapple was my favorite. I really enjoyed their service, the staff were very attentive and our waitress made sure we were doing satisfied during the whole dinner. If you have a group of 8 people or more, then reservations are recommended, the restaurant doesn't take reservations for groups less than 8 people. I came here at 630pm on a Friday evening and there wasn't a wait at all, but by 730/800pm the restaurant was pretty packed. So I recommend coming on the earlier side if you can. The food was good, but I wouldn't say it was amazing. The only thing that was amazing was the service and roasted pineapple. Some cuts of meat were on the dry side. I ordered tap water for the family, but they gave us a spring bottle water and charged $9. It made no sense because they had a man serving water for free. My family and I went to Rainhas last week to celebrate my birthday. We had gone several times before, but this was our first time going during the pandemic. We had made a reservation for a party of six and were led inside as soon as we arrived. Our temperatures were checked and then we were immediately seated. The experience is different now since there is no buffet. They have a very specific ordering process: you can order three sides and two salads for the table to start, but you have to wait for these before you're able to ask for anything else. We had a kid in our party and our waitress would not agree to bring him a simple plate of chicken nuggets and fries before the rest of us put in an order for what we wanted for the table, so we were initially a bit put off by this. However, Johnny later came by for the rotation of meats and our experience improved dramatically. He was very attentive, constantly asking us if there was anything in particular that we would like him to bring, then going back to the kitchen to have them prepare it for us. I normally do not write reviews, but Johnny truly went out of his way to make this a five-star experience and our entire party appreciated the service we received from him. Read all the five star reviews which brought my husband, my son and I here on a Sunday night around 7pm. We were excited for an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse experience! I had been to Fogo de Chao in Midtown, but wanted to try something different and not schlep into the city. This place is huge (takes up a whole block) and I was told when I called they do not accept reservations for parties less than 8. When we arrived it was not that busy and the host offered to seat us at a table right by the door. Um no thank you. After asking if we could sit someplace else, he acted like he was doing us a favor by seating us a bit further into the restaurant. The whole rear of the restaurant was empty and remained that way during the whole time we had dinner. Moving on the food. All the meats were average at best. Skirt steak stood out as the best overall, but was quite greasy. Beef tenderloin lacked flavor, very fatty. BBQ ribs were average and I'm being generous. Lamb had an odd seasoning which was not appealing, after one bite I didn't want more. There were several times that meats came around to other tables and never reached our table. We complained and had to ask for the grilled pineapple to be served after seeing it offered at every other table except ours. The pineapple was quite good. The salad bar offerings were very basic and nothing stood out. Several items were already gone (plantains), black beans looked like they were sitting for hours already, not appetizing. The final straw for me, was the dessert cart. As we were first timers, and we told our waitress this when we first sat down, we didn't realize that dessert was not included in the $49.95 per person price. We ordered three different desserts to try and the Dessert server heard us saying to each other why not let's try different items as it's included, right? Not once did she correct us and let us know that's not the case. We only realized when the bill came. Our waitress acted like she was surprised that the server did not inform us. Not to mention one of the desserts we ordered, the coconut sorbet was frozen solid, had freezer burn, and tasted like shaving cream! After letting our server know, she at least took that off the bill. The Tres Leches and flan were good though. For $49.95 person this was definitely not worth the price for the quality. This is not my first time coming here. I like to eat my meat medium well, and every time i kept asking for it is like the server didn't know. He kept giving me the meat that was medium rare. It was too much, i had to keep switching plates because that plate was full of blood. Also the meat was slacking seasoning. However, The only good meat that was cook for perfection was the picanha but it did needed some salt. The cold and hot bar was okay. The bread that they give you at the beginning was good. Not worth $55/person. Came for Father's Day per request. Meat was mostly dry and fairly flavorless except for salt. Maybe we came on an off day, not sure. The highlight was the pineapple and the service. I think we must have come on an off day because the images look different than what we saw there. We barely ate anything prior to going (early dinner) and still were unable to eat more than a couple bites of any particular item. If we'd only paid $15-20 per person I'd say fair enough we got the quality we paid for. Also the tables were way too crowded. Maybe a foot between us and the adjacent tables at best. Just enough space between rows to allow walking through if people pull their chairs in while people need to pass. We're still in the pandemic.
