Not a busy Sunday night, probably because of the bad weather, but that worked in our favor! We came straight from a long, fun (and exhausting) day at New York Comic Con and were definitely hangry. Our server Johnny was awesome -- super attentive and kept our plates full, bringing out all kinds of meats. Portions were generous, and every cut was high quality and cooked perfectly. At $53 per person, it feels like you get more than you pay for. My favorites were the skirt steak and top sirloin -- so juicy and flavorful! The sangria was amazing too and paired perfectly with all the meats. Great service, great food, and overall a fantastic experience. What a perfect way to end our Comic Con weekend!

Great experience. The salad bar is fully stocked with rice, pasta, salad, and all kinds of goodies that I filled up on before the meats came to our table. The servers were very attentive and very kind coming around our large table as there was limited space (we went on a Friday night for dinner and it was packed). The pineapple is to die for! Highly recommend getting it. And the chocolate cake was the perfect way to cap off the meal. Really good dining! Leaving fully satisfied. Not to mention during the holidays they go all out for the decor - so many lights and trees and ornaments/decorations!

This is THE legendary JOHNNY! Bringer of meat and joy and great service!

Where to begin? Johnny is legendary! He is SOOO the man. Anything we needed, super attentive and pleasant. His sauce suggestions as well, right on the money every time. Did I forget to mention Ramiro? Another angel with lots of meat on a stick! The buffet is AMAZE-Balls! Ceviche AND Shrimp cocktail! It's worth the price JUST for the buffet (and the can't miss cheese balls!) but do NOT miss the roasted Pineapple! Tastes like cake! So amazingly sweet and savory. Will be back for SURE!

Excellent meal and service. My family came at opening and had the place pretty much to ourselves. Our waiter, Johnny M, was fantastic! Very attentive and informative of what to get.

Johnny with excellent service and when needed certain meat he brought us without hesitation. Thank you!

Came here to grab something to eat with the family. It cost more than I expected but we had a good time. The food was okay. The service wasn't bad either. I was just battling a cold so my experience was as great as I wanted it to be. Overall it was just okay for me.

Good food but a bit expensive. Nice host and a very friendly staff as well as the location, which is a few blocks from where I live

I came here with two of my friends and my husband. We had a wonderful time and lots of good food! The place is beautiful. There is a lovely entrance and a private parking lot with valet, which was great. We were seated right away. The hostess and serve were were very friendly. We really enjoyed the whole experience. There is a whole appetizing station with French fries, onion rings, salads, chicken fingers, rice, shrimp, etc. The servers come around with duck, pork, wings, beef, pig, brisket, and pineapple. I have to say, my absolute favorite was the grilled pineapple and the brisket. We all left very full and very happy with the experience. I would for sure go back!

Came here with a huge group to celebrate a birthday. I think I ate enough meat to last me a lifetime. Gauchos came often, and were efficient. As we were a large party, meats ran out quickly. But they would assure us that they'd return with a fresh batch and they'd promptly do. But my absolute favorite was their cheese bread. Oh my gosh, this was so freakin good. Our side of the table ordered like three baskets of these.

I love a Brazilian steakhouse, and this didn't disappoint. While it didn't have as extensive of a salad bar as a Fogo de Chao or Texas de Brazil, the quality of the meats were up to par, if not better than those higher priced places. I loved all the beef they had, their picanha, tri tip steak, fraudinha, and baby beef were especially delicious. Star of the night was their grilled pineapple. The first cut of it, after its cinnamon sugar crust had been roasting in the oven, was delicious. Their service was also excellent. This time our particular craving was meat so naturally rodizio was on the table. My brother recommended Brazeiro because he had a good experience there and the price was very reasonable. Technically there's a parking lot but it's hilariously small. You'll likely need to find street parking when you dine here. We were able to snag a table for 4 pretty quickly. The sides are good but not great, but that's not what you come here for. They have some meat add-ons that cost extra and they were intriguing but not enough for us to order them. The meats were delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. The server asks how you like your meats cooked prior to the service starting. They've got most of the typical cuts for rodizio and it's finished off with cinnamon-coated pineapple. Brazeiro just might be the new go-to for rodizio.

It is a small restaurant, but it is nice and intimate with smaller tables. We were seated immediately after walking in. Fortunately, the hostess informed us it was still happy hour, so we placed orders for a caipirinha and a mojito. We ordered the Rodizio Experience, which comes with access to the salad bar, fried sides, and tableside carved meats on skewers. Our drinks came, and the hostess asked how we liked our meats cooked, and we went with medium rare. The drinks were tasty, and definitely worth it at only $6 during happy hour. I tried the potato salad, Caesar salad, chickpeas, and feijoada off of the salad bar. The feijoada was especially good. The fried sides included yuca, croquets, plantains, and pao de queijo (cheese bread). All were done well. At first, i thought that the staff was skipping our table for the Rodizio Experience. But then I realized the skewers are dedicated to the table. They brought out sausage, chicken legs, garlic steak, steak wrapped in bacon, bottom sirloin, picanha, tenderloin, and beef rib. The skewers were all cooked to medium rare as I requested, and seasoned perfectly! Once we had all the meats, the hostess returned and asked us if we wanted to have another round of any particular cuts. Once we finished our second rounds, they offered us grilled pineapple dusted with cinnamon, which was also delicious. I would definitely return.

I was duly impressed with Berimbau in 2024 and since it was MY night -- that's where we went. (Reservations, btw always warranted.) The Picahana feast ($149) previously included salad. In light of the national cyclosporiasis crisis, they've adapted their menu: steak, corn farofa, heirloom tomatoes and creamed spinach. If you're in NYC and enjoy red meat, visit Berimbau. The Picahana feast feeds three hungry adults, with leftovers. (Note to self: next time request medium rare; medium is a tad too well done.) I enjoyed their creamed spinach a bit more than T and my daughter. It had somewhat of a gummy consistency, more pronounced when the dish cooled. We were in accord with everything else, particularly their Brazillian rolls (pao de Quiejo) and guava/stracciatella dip. Rather than order from the wine list, we brought our own. $40 corkage fee. If you follow our lead, please call in advance. Desserts are small, but rich. Two for the three of us was perfect. We shared carmelized yuca cake with cupaucacu cream and cacau & caju, a satisfying dark chocolate. There are many celebrated steak houses in Manhattan which are often super-expensive and a la carte. While far from cheap, in comparison Berimbau offers a bang for one's buck and the Picahana cut is nothing short of delicious. Service is friendly and on-the-ball. Plus the dining room is very pretty.

We came for dinner as a group of 4 over the weekend (made a reservation). The space is much larger than their other location and they have a nice waiting area, bar and large dining room with plenty of tables. It took a little while for our waiter to come over once we were seated, but once he did, he was great. Will was familiar with the menu, friendly and checked in periodically. We started with the broccolini, pao de queijo (brazilian cheese bread) and mandioca da casa (yuca fries). The broccolini was tasty, I liked the farofa for the crunch and the aioli went well with the dish. The pao de queijo was very good, but only 6 small ones come in an order. The yuca fries were also delicious and came as 8 small rectangles (not fry shape) and went well with the aioli/dipping sauce it was served with. The appetizers overall were on the smaller side, but we enjoyed them all. For entrees we ordered the vegan feijoada, bife a cavalo (steak), bacalhau negro (black bod) and arroz de camarao (rice with shrimp). The vegan feijoada was surprisingly good, I was impressed they got a smokey flavor to it without the pork/beef and the mushrooms provided a nice meaty texture. The steak was very good, I liked the egg on top and the meat was cooked nicely. The best dish in my opinion was the black cod, it was cooked perfectly and fell apart when you touched your fork to it. I loved the flavor of the sauce and thought the tomatoes went well with the dish, I also liked the hearts of palm spaghetti. The arroz de camarao was our least favorite dish, it came with four large shrimp (head on) and kind of reminded us a bit of paella. The octopus aioli was a nice creamy addition to the dish, but I would not feel the need to order it again. For dessert we tried the bolo de mandioca (yuca cake). The cake itself was very good (not too sweet) and went well with the shaved coconut, but we did not like the cupuacu cream. It reminded us a bit of coconut milk yogurt in texture and had an odd tangy taste. We left feeling satiated but not stuffed. Overall a nice meal, but not inexpensive though and I wished the appetizer portions were a bit larger. Can't comment on the authenticity as I have not been to Brazil but the food was good quality. I would go back to try the picanha feast as we saw other tables order it and it looked amazing.

We had to start asking servers to send over specific cuts of meat before it started coming out. I'm not sure if bringing meats out slowly and not frequently is intentional on the restaurant's part, but it would be disappointing if that's the case. This experience made me not want to return in the near future. Ambiance: The ambiance is very upscale and high end. Seating is comfortable, and the restaurant is huge with multiple floors. It had an oddly fishy taste when it should've been rich and buttery. It also lacked proper seasoning, so we ended up sending it back. For the entree, we ordered the dry aged porterhouse, priced at nearly $200. We asked for medium, but it came out well done, which was a letdown. The chimichurri didn't taste authentic, and while the signature steak sauce was fine, it wasn't anything memorable. We also ordered a side of bacon, which was decent but I've had better. The chili prawn noodles were another miss. It came with only four shrimp, wasn't spicy at all, and used spaghetti noodles, which felt off for the dish. The only real highlights were the creamed spinach and shishito peppers. Those were solid and you just can't go wrong with it. At best, I'd recommend coming here for the cocktails and the view. The food alone doesn't justify it. I added an extra star strictly because of the service. Shirley was excellent. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and gave great wine recommendations. Very accommodating and genuinely pleasant, which made the experience better overall.
