Stopped by yesterday (9/2020) to see if they were open at all, and was really excited to see they were, and what safety measures they had in place. To use the buffet, you have to wear gloves they provide, and a mask. No tables, no talking, no hanging around. The food had just as much selection as normal, and the people were just as nice. So yay! I'm just now realizing that I didn't get any veggies but I do know they definitely had them there. I also got two pieces of cake. I know, sounds like a lot but it's buffet style so when you can pick what you want I personally try to get a little of everything. The price point was great. I'll be back for sure. If there is as a time machine, I would turn back the clock when I lived in Astoria. Bc even though I lived next to that location, I only went once. What a mistake. Copacabana Brazilian Grill is a great option if you want a variety and don't want to splurge. For around $20 bucks (I was hungry), I chowed down on some skirt steak, chicken, potatoes, a bevy of salads...and dessert! The chicken was my favorite protein, along with their salads. From potato, salsa, kale, seafood mix, it all tasted fresh with beautifully cut knife skills displayed. My least favorite protein was the skirt steak. It was tender but I didn't walk away impressed. It was still great though. I will have to try the sirloin cut next! To top it off, the service was impeccable! From the counter service, bathroom attendants (not only replenished toilet paper fast, also gave quick wipe!), I highly recommend this eatery in Jackson Heights. read more

Finding this spot was the worst thing that has happened to me in 2017. The food is so damn good here. Some people complain about the price but considering prices you would pay in a decent restaurant, this is nothing. $15 will get you a huge plate with so much meat that you'll have trouble finishing it. I had no idea that there is a Brazilian Grill in the neighborhood until I found this place approximately 2 months ago and honestly became my favorite place. My boyfriend and I always go here when we want to enjoy good food. The place is very clean, organized and well managed. I love the fact that every time we come here, staff is very friendly, especially Andres who is very polite, helpful and makes you feel welcomed! The food is excellent, very fresh and healthier than other places! I am not a meat lover( steak and BBQ) but I enjoy everything else is available on the buffet: the salad bar with red beets and eggplant salad, I love their fish especially salmon, rice, beans and chicken. I had lunch there yesterday. The food is fresh, the restaurant is clean and the barbecue is good. It was good to see that they had collard greens salad and farofa. The only thing missing was fish. Every Brazilian buffet has some fish. But they have guaraná, bottled cajú and passion fruit juices. It's a nice little restaurant to be honest and it was a lovely surprise. We did not have change for tips so the cashier told us it was okay with a big smile. I got some change for my big note & left a tip. How can I not with that kind of service? The food was very fresh & tasty. The picanha was tender & juicy, but on the salty side. The sirloin wrapped in bacon was too dry & tough. The beans were good & chimichurri was refreshing.
