This is some of the best customer service I've ever had at a fast-food restaurant! My husband and I are visiting Boston for the weekend, and we just had to try Wahlburgers. We had no idea there was a Noah Kahan concert happening at Fenway Park, which is walking distance from this location. Since it was our first time in Boston, we were absolutely committed to getting our meal. The crowd inside was massive and could have easily been intimidating, but we came to eat! After waiting a bit, we were served. The young lady who took our order, Estefania, provided amazing customer service. She was incredibly calm and polite despite how busy the atmosphere was. We ordered multiple items off the menu, and she handled it all with zero issues. As we waited, we watched her work and realized she was doing it all--managing the register, handling pickup orders, and even running food to tables on the restaurant side. My goodness, she was a one-woman show! I was also curious about how the seating worked on the sit-down side of the restaurant, which is where I encountered a host named Damari. He was also incredibly kind, polite, and provided excellent customer service. When I asked how the seating worked, he explained that it functions just like a full-service restaurant: they take your name, and you wait to be called. It is a really cool concept that Wahlburgers functions as both a fast-casual spot and a full-service restaurant. Once we got our food, we checked to make sure everything was there, and it was perfect. Even with a massive concert crowd next door, every single thing we ordered was fresh, hot, and amazing. This is a great hamburger restaurant to experience, especially with the family story you get to learn about while you eat. The service was great, the ambience was wonderful, and the location is perfect. Whenever we are back in Boston, Wahlburgers is definitely on our list! read more

My funny story about Wahlburgers is that I entered got seated, ordered, ate, paid and left through another way. Upon leaving did I find out that they have a quick service counter option (which is what I wanted in the first place) but I didn't know it because I entered from the back door. Whoops. We've tried Wahlburgers years ago in Las Vegas and figured, when in Boston. Right? Service was friendly, we were seated in no time and Quinlan looked after us. I ordered the Impossible Burger and my husband ordered the Sweet Heat Chicken Sandwich, we didn't opt for sizes because of the large burger portion. My burger was good; the standout was definitely the house sauce. It added an extra zazz to the burger and made it interesting. It's a lively location right in Fenway and we had to get a selfie with the Wahlburger family cardboard cutout. I'm from suburb of Chicago and always wanted to try Wahlburgers. My brother and I stopped there around noon for lunch before the game at Fenway Park on Sunday August 9th. We sat at the bar cause it was taking a long time to be seated even though it wasn't that busy. The bartender was horrible. We had to ask for silverware and napkins and she told us it would take her awhile and then threw it down in front of us with no apologies. The burgers were great! When we paid the bill she didn't thank us for coming and didn't tell us to have a good day! I know Paul would be very upset to hear about the customer service at his restaurant. We also overheard her giving a server a hard time. She basically said if he didn't kiss her butt she wouldn't fill his drink orders! Food was great but service was disappointing. read more

After waiting well over an hour for our food, our order was incomplete and ice cold. Our server had zero sense of urgency. This restaurant needs a complete overhaul. As a longtime fan of the Wahlberg brothers, from their music careers decades ago to movies and their reality show, I was incredibly excited to finally try Wahlburgers while visiting my best friend in Boston. Our server brought over menus and went to get water, but it took about 15 minutes for him to return and take our order, and I did notice he smelled of cigarettes. For food, my friend ordered Donnie's Choice, the BBQ Bacon burger with added fries, and I went for The Super Melt with a side of thinly sliced onion rings. The food arrived within 15 minutes, and the presentation was good. We swapped half our burgers to try both. Donnie's Choice was decent, tasty but nothing particularly memorable. The Super Melt, however, was absolutely delicious! It was packed with flavor and wonderfully juicy. The fries were typical fries, and the onion rings were a bit overcooked. Ugh. I hate writing bad reviews, but when deserved ... I have been to this location several times and always had good food and positive experiences. Today for lunch, however, was much different. The restaurant was slow with only 2 tables filled in the back section. (There were a few more in the front section.) It appeared they had one (slow) waitress for everyone. I felt sorry for her - though she did not seem to care about making the customers wait. IT TOOK FOREVER to be waited on and then it took forever to get our lunch. (Lemonade 20 minutes. Food 40 minutes). While waiting, I told my wife that when you wait this long - the food will come out cold. Bingo! Cold fried pickles and cold burgers. What a terrible experience. This restaurant can do better and has. We hope it was just a bad day and not the new normal. read more

Decor is full of Boston references and overall makes for a nice hangout spot for a quick bit to eat. SERVICE: 8/10 FOOD: 9/10 Our Burger - 7/10 - The 'standard' burger at this place which I found to be very average. I'm getting really tired of restaurants treating takeout and delivery orders like a game of roulette. Tonight we ordered delivery from Wahlburgers at the Hingham Shipyard: burgers, fries, fried pickles, and a milkshake. The driver dropped off the bag and left. When we opened it... burgers and fries. That's it. No fried pickles. No milkshake. Both items were paid for and both were completely missing. With delivery there's no opportunity to say "hey, you forgot something." The driver is gone and now you're stuck dealing with apps, refunds, and the hassle of fixing a mistake that should have been caught before the food ever left the kitchen. Restaurants have POS systems, receipts attached to the bag, and screens showing the order. It would take about three seconds for someone to look at the receipt and confirm the items are actually in the bag. Food is expensive now. When someone spends around $60 on burgers and sides, the absolute bare minimum expectation is that the order is accurate. This wasn't forgetting napkins or ketchup. Two entire items were missing. If you're going to run a delivery operation, basic order accuracy shouldn't be optional. read more

We had the worst experience at Wahlburger's last night. We were attending the Zac Brown Band concert. We made a 5:30 reservation. Two of our party arrived at 5 and had drinks at the party waiting for the rest of us. When we all arrived we went to the host stand to check in. After waiting to be helped we were told that didn't have the iPad to access the reservation and it would be a 45 minute wait. The host was a very sweet kid trying his best, but there were other groups with a 5 pm reservation still waiting. I asked to talk to the manager and she listened and then walked away. Within 10 minutes the host came and sat our table and the other one waiting from 5. Manager never apologized. The waitresses were doing their best, but there was not enough help on the floor. After 30 minutes our drinks arrived, after another 15 our food. Our burgers, Mac and cheese, tater tots and fries were all cold. I again asked for a manager and another came to our table, I explained the situation and he said a quick I'm sorry he would comp our food since we couldn't wait for it to be recooked and walked away. Two other tables told us their food was cold too. It was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had and management didn't even seem to care. Very disappointed! read more

I was traveling with a Mark Wahlburg fan and he wanted to eat here. You see the franchise on TV so it is nice to visit a place that is in person since we don't have one in our location in the Southeast. We were in town to see a Red Sox game and this was located just outside Fenway Park. There is a full seating section around the back but we ate at this little corner bar type section facing the street (see pic below). When you walk in, it really a takeout/pick up area, so we had a little time we ate at the tiny seating at the window. Food was good. No complaints. No Wahlburger family member sightings. Definitely a fun experience and even better if you love and respect the Wahlberg brothers! A great option to have in the Fenway area for a meal or grabbing a drink with a friend. The food here is solid and there is something here for everyone. From great burgers, sandwiches, drink selections, milkshakes, and my personal favorite: tater tots, you are sure to have a great time. They even have sweet potato tots, which are just another perk of the Wahlburger experience. They have options for those with allergies including an impossible burger and a gluten free bun. I find the portions to be great and you feel like you get a quality meal out of it. Things are easy to customize and they definitely treat food allergies with care, which I appreciate. Elizabeth has been our server the past few times and is simply wonderful. She makes the experience great and provides great recommendations on the menu! She even gave me some tips of some of her favorite places to check out in Boston and truly emulates the family and down to earth experience of Wahlburgers! All the other servers and staff have been nothing but wonderful so, 10/10 for the experience! I visited this Wahlburgers location on a perfect day, at the best time: after the Red Sox won a game on a Saturday evening. I was definitely hungry after sitting for 4 hours. The restaurant is very spacious, offering both indoor and outdoor patio seating. I was served by Samantha, who was very kind and patient. She gave great suggestions for both cocktails and entrees. I ordered Dan's Favorite and a side of Truffle Fries paired with a Blood Orange Margarita. Everything was delicious. However, I wish that the burger came with a side of fries instead of having to order the fries separately. Just a suggestion. I loved how each entree was chosen or inspired by a family member from the Wahlbergs. Definitely a great atmosphere and would return to try the other burgers. read more

How the mighty have fallen. Stopped in with my brother for a cup of Chili mind you my brother has been getting this stuff for years. We get back to his place and open up the cup of chili and the cup is legit only a quarter full. Historicly they filled these cups to the top. My brother calls the store to ask what happened and the manager says they no longer are filling the chili up to save cost and essentially he doesn't know what he can do to make it right. Odd. Anyways as someone who knows the Wahlbergs from growing up next time I run into one of them ill be sharing some feedback about how the location has fallen on bad times. We were excited to see Wahlburgers when visiting Fenway Park. We waited over 50 minutes for our food. We asked numerous times about our food and we were only told don't he didn't understand why it's taking too long. We would see burgers coming out to other tables when they sat down way after us. We are not the kind to complain but after waiting 45 minutes we started asking where our food was. We had only 2 items other than 1 beer and 1 ice tea, barbecue wings and 1 hamburger. The wings were good but the hamburger was cold and under cooked... the only good thing about the whole experience was they comp'd our food. read more
