Been here a few times I could have sworn I had a review but I guess I forgot lol. Located off Redondo Beach Bl in Gardena. Parking is shared with the Target and other businesses in the center. They built this location after the Torrance location opened. So this one is much closer to me than the Torrance one. The place has a good amount of tables and seats. I usually get the 3 piece chicken fingers combo. Service is not too bad here. Overall not a bad place the location is not bad either easy to get into and out of. read more

I get it, it's fast food so 2.5-3 stars is really what's expected. But I'd say I had a great experience at the drive through and the food was solid. They are modeling their drive through the way in and out and chic fil a has adopted. It's efficient and it gets the line moving. I ordered the Box Combo which comes with 4 chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, cole slaw, Texas toast, and a drink (I got sweet tea which was great) along with Cane's sauce. You really have to eat the food right there while it is still hot to really appreciate it. The Cane's sauce does enhance the chicken fingers, but the chicken would still taste pretty good without it. The cole slaw was fine but not as sweet or good as KFC's. I still don't understand why people rave about the Texas toast. It doesn't seem special to me. Raising Canes has THE BEST TOAST!!!!! It is so delicious. Always soft and flavored. I also love their fries and lemonade. Now let's talk chicken. They definitely need more seasoning on their strips. They are moist, and juicy which is a good thing but I think it's time to reevaluate the recipe. I usually have to go home and add some barbeque sauce for a dip because I don't like the chicken without it. I personally do not like the Raising Canes sauce, however my kids love it and they don't eat the chicken without it. The service is always good. I am always greeted and the employees have always been nice. I've never been inside of the restaurant, but they keep the drive thru going with 2 employees on busy days. It's open until 3am, and the prices are great. You can get a 3 piece meal with fries, a drink, and toast for about $12. Overall 7/10 because the chicken needs to be seasoned. read more

Let me start by saying that my food was by no means bad - it just wasn't better than any other place. If I had the option, I'd go somewhere else for every bit of this meal. (See pic for my meal) But overall, it was just OK. Considering all my friends say its great and there is always a line, I thought it would be awesome to eat... but I was disappointed. So here's a list review of my food: 1) My drink was loaded with so much ice, that my Coke didn't even taste like Coke anymore. 2) Three of my four tenders were appealing and good to eat. But the 4th was a bit "white". The outside didn't look cooked at all. 3) The fries were nothing special. Honestly I prefer Mcdonalds any day. 4) The coleslaw was good. But honestly for the same flavor and type I would rather go KFC and get more Flavor and bigger portion size. 5) The Toast was probably my favorite piece of the meal, but that shouldn't be the star of my meal. Perfectly cooked and good flavor. 6) The sauce was definitely nothing to scream praises about. Not only do I pay for the sauce, but some good old BBQ you buy at a store tastes better. Honestly I was horrified I am required to pay for sauce as part of the meal. But the amount you get was enough for all 4 of my tenders so that's awesome. 7) Price: I wouldn't say its the most horrid pricing, but for the quality in which I received, and specifically the taste, I wouldn't want to pay $11.59+tax for my meal. Raising Cane's was found in 1996 there are 36 RC in Calif. 535 thru out the states plus internationally. There are two thru lines at this one, I ordered the box combo which came with about 4 -5 unseasoned not crispy chicken strips fries, Texas toast, cane's sauce, coleslaw and a lemonade, the two things I really did like about here was the Texas toast and the can's sauce. I don't get the hype! The line for RC is ridiculously long but I assume it'll die down after a few months and everyone has tried it. I thought it was just ok. The tenders looked crispier than they actually are. The menu seems pretty simple and they really only promote their combos. You can order a la carte but it makes more sense to get a combo, especially if you want any sides. I got the box combo, which comes with 4 chicken fingers, and it's a good sized portion. I really liked cane's sauce but thought the tenders could be crispier. While it was juicy, I was expecting more (judging by the long line). I would give Cain's an A-OK rating, it's average, which in my book passes my QC quality control benchmarks without any major complaints, but at the same time nothing extra ordinary that stands out or is unique either. The chicken, I must say is moist and tender and when you get it fresh, it's really HOT, but let it cool down and it's still juicy and soft. They only sell pretty much chicken tender strips of boneless white breast meat. It's fairly good 'tho, fried but not so oily nor greasy. This place gets busy and there was some advance billing hype we heard about it, so it was setting itself up for failure or disappointment based upon heightened expectations. Overall, I'd come back again, but it's neither destination dining (where I'd crave it and travel to come specifically for the food) nor if I know it's not convenient and the line is too long or I'm short on time, would I feel it's worth waiting extended time for. I'd recommend this place 'tho. I think there's several locations of CAIN'S in the South Bay Beach Cities area too. read more

I've been here a few times now and I would say their chicken tenders are good but to me, a little bland. I always end up sprinkling a little cajun on it and it's all good. The tenders come out juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. When I get out of the shower I go to open my meal & was shocked by the size of the chicken strips in my meal. They were TINY! This is not my first time at this restaurant or location. Usually they are big enough to where I get full eating just two strips and some fries. This time they were tiny chunks of chicken connected by thin pieces of skin or breading. There was one good size chicken strip. The others that I ordered with today were already almost done with their meal by the time I opened mine so I didn't call or take it back. I constantly see a huge line here whenever we drive past it so we decided to give it a shot today. We ordered online, which is a huge plus, but I've gotta say...I really don't get it. The hype is undeserved. It's like the chicken tender equivalent of In-N-Out: weak but has a strong and unfathomable cult of personality that overhypes the food. The food quality (tenders, fries) was on par with Tyson chicken tenders and Ore-Ida crinkle cut fries. Very bland, fries were kinda soggy, I could've bought this stuff at the grocery store and made it in my air fryer. Coleslaw was gross. I found a hair cooked into my chicken tender, our friend found some weird thing that looked like either cartilage or plastic. The sauce and the slice of bread they give you, however, is amazing and were the sole redeeming features. For the price, Dave's Hot Chicken is way better. Definitely not the same quality or customer service as other locations but the food is decent. There's nothing special about this chicken, but the sauce is quite good and so is the bread. Despite the quality the lines are not dying down, even at 11pm you can expect the drive through to wrap around the parking lot. With so many options for fried chicken (Popeyes, and Chick-fil-A are within 5 mins) I don't think I'll be making this a habit waiting in these crazy long lines. read more

I love RC. My kids fave fried chicken spot. This location is near my home. Located inside the Target shopping center, in the additional parking space towards East. They usually have long lines, so I prefer ordering via mobile app. I don't know if other folks are getting what I'm getting, but the curbside pickup is always unavailable. So I would just go inside to pick up. Only thing that isn't great is the coleslaw. Don't expect it to be great, it is a fast food chain. My fave is the drink. Because I love the crushed ice. It cools the drink quickly and longer than the ice cubes (IMO). Food is great and we love it! The other location is in Torrance but it's further from me.
