Man, this place is top tier Indian Food in Artesia, CA! We arrived at 5:30pm on a Saturday and got seated immediately. They were quick to come with water and take our order. The flavors and spice within their Punjabi Butter Chicken and Lamb Vindaloo is outstanding. This was the first time we tried the Chili Garlic Naan and I HIGHLY recommend! The Mango Lassi is always 10/10 and a perfect pairing to the spicy entrees. We had leftovers and ordered some more Jeera Rice and Chili Garlic Naan to enjoy the next day as a second meal. I was searching for somewhere special to take my parents for Thanksgiving lunch, and after some research, we decided to make the drive to Little India to try Rajdhani. Best decision we could have made - we were absolutely not disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be a memorable meal. My Mom and Dad were impressed by the authentic vegetarian spread, and honestly, it was such a refreshing change from the typical Thanksgiving fare. The food was exceptional-flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. The staff made us feel right at home, which made the experience even more special since we were celebrating the holiday together. If you're looking for an alternative to traditional dining or just want to experience some incredible vegetarian Indian cuisine, Rajdhani is absolutely worth the trip to Little India. I am on my business trip to Artesia and decided to have food with much-hyped Rajdhani, Artesia. As soon as you enter the place you see some rude, unwelcoming facial expressions. Maybe our expectations were high. Finally, we were offered to sit in a corner. The chairs were unbelievably dirty. I am going to upload its photo. I asked the attendant if she is aware of it that how dirty it is and she asked me promptly, " Should I serve you or do you want to leave"? I have never ever experienced such an unwelcoming response from a host. As I was hungry so I decided to sit and go through the ordeal of food being served by some of the Indian students who just landed from the plane and keep on hovering over me if I want more food. It reminded me of the hostel mess where you are being served food in a rude tone and being checked if you finished get up and go. I am writing this review just to show my annoyance at all others as well who go through this health hazardous dirty restaurant and raise no voice. We should demand basic courtesy and cleanliness as this is for heaven's sake American and we pay in $$$. read more

We had to call for a waiter's attention to place our order, and then another waiter came to ask for it again. When I inquired about who was managing our table, the response was "whoever is available." Additionally, the waiters seemed unfamiliar with the menu, needing to go back twice to get answers. Eventually, the owner/manager approached us to ask if we had any dietary restrictions. The quality of the food was just okay. Given the price point, I've had better thalis in the past. This place is a cut above the usual buffets in this area. It is an upstairs restaurant, rather elegant. The food is served as Thali's on a silver platter and people come around to replenish ie: it's not really a buffet. It is, however, all you can eat. The food is subtle and delicious and ideal for vegeterians. Once again, this is special southern indian cuisine and not just the usual spinach, okara, potato curry that you usually get. Prolly a 3.5. Over hyped place. Drove all the way from Phoenix to eat almost same food which are offered at other restaurants. Ordered an unlimited thali. Comes with 5 side dishes and papad/salsa. Food tasted fresh and was served hot. There are no house specials though. Special mention : dudhi dessert. This was just fabulous. But what makes this place unique and stand out is that they are a fusion of Indian & Chinese. In addition to the traditional dishes like the samosa, tandoori chicken and curries, they offer veggie spring rolls, Szechuan prawns and Kung Pao chicken. When I came on a weekday for lunch, there wasn't a wait nor was it busy in the dining hall, but I noticed a lot of delivery app orders. The restaurant is very spacious and also has a stage-like platform near the back of the restaurant so I could totally see that they would host special events. As for the food, I ordered the usual samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of garlic naan, Saag Paneer, and their Chinese-inspired Wok n Shrimp which was very flavorful. The only downside is that this place is pretty pricey when compared to other restaurants in the Little India area. I would come back for a more upscale dining experience!

There have definitely been times where I've had some of the best dishes here. My issue is consistency. It's kind of hit or miss. Some visits are great, and others just don't come close to that same level, which makes it tough to fully rely on. Standouts for me are the Chinese bhel, Szechuan fries, and Hakka noodles. When those are on, they're really, really good. That said, it's a nice, clean restaurant with a concept you don't see a ton of in Southern California. When they're on, it's one of the better Indo-Chinese spots around. Overall, solid, just wish it was more consistent.
