First time for everything I guess. I got treated badly at this store. I'm assuming based on my skin color by a disabled manager and a trans grocery clerk, lily white. More like magager and princess magaRamona. The manager with glasses and a gimp hand basically chose my line to stand right in front of and watch me with his arms crossed the whole time. The Shrek looking clerk was rude and I told it I was gonna come back with more money to buy the rest of my stuff and the second I left they put it all back out. When I asked Shrek, where my groceries were she said they put them back and shrugged without offering to go get them, they were in a basket that I pointed to (exactly where missthing put them). It goes to show you, regardless of your sexual preference or your abilities, you could still be a basic B. Complexion for the protection without correction. I have to update my prior review, I don't know what is happening here, but they are always understaffed. On weekends they only have one lane open, and the clerk also has to handle self check issues. What happens is they get so distracted they will ring the same item up several times. Be sure to always check your receipt before leaving! I have been overcharged three times in a row now and in this economy, that's unacceptable. The last time they rung up one item three times! So until they get more help, I'd avoid this location. read more

Surprised to see that the aggregate Yelp score for this market is just 3 stars. This Raley's store is the closest to my house but I don't go often because I live 300 yards from a well managed Safeway and across the street from there is a brand new ginormous size Nugget market (which I call "The Vatican of groceries"). This Raley's is my 2nd stop when Safeway does not have a particular item I seek. Have successfully found a specific wine, tart cherry juice and other small items. The fresh produce section looks good. This store has never been crowded nor noisy during my visits. Shelves are well organized. Clean floors. Visually this Raley's is more pleasing than the Safeway. The aisles are less cluttered than Safeway. Better feng shui. I've tried several deli items here. The fried chicken is not as satisfyingly crunchy nor as greasy as the Safeway version. The fresh sushi here also does not comparatively ring my bell as loud. The employees are friendly and helpful. More so than the average Safeway employee. Prices are no different than Safeway. Which means the prices are lower than Whole Foods, Nugget and the somewhat dismal Amazon Fresh market over by the Roseville Costco. HHHhhhmmmmm... Maybe I should shop ay this Raley's more often. read more

Yesterday afternoon I was able to get a start on our 7 year old's Easter Basket, thanks to a very helpful female employee! She showed me the area where they had Easter items displayed, as well as the isle specifically dedicated to Easter! I purchased the Wicker Bonanza LD Easter Basket, Smart Sweets Limited Edition Berry Bunnies and Tropical Eggs, Jelly Belly Pastel Tiny Bean Machine and Galerie Edible Grass to add to her basket! I would HIGHLY recommend this location for holidays, grocery needs and excellent customer service! Bryers just came out with a mango inc cream that is creamy, mango-ey and delicious. This is the first store I've seen it offered. Make sure you pre-clip your something extra coupons and other digital coupons. You won't get the deal unless you clip the coupons on line. They are great deals, but very frustrating as the app goes down a lot and I'm unable to clip the coupons. Knowing I could have gotten a better deal I spend less money as I won't buy those products I otherwise would have if I was able to clip the coupons. The birthday club is a great deal but really tricky. If your birthday is in March they will alert you of the deals on Feb 28 and you have till March 5 to redeem the offer. It's a very short period of time and you have to clip the coupons to get the deal. Last year I tried to get the specials, but I couldn't find the place to clip the coupons so I missed out on the deal. read more

We usually shop at RaleysOne on Blue Oaks in Roseville, Ca. even though it isn't close to our house. I can't say enough about the amazing staff at RaleysOne (222). My husband is disabled and Caroline and her staff go out of their way to help us. A few weeks ago, my husband wasn't feeling well and I ordered an an online pickup from Raleys on Woodcreek Oaks Blvd. I had ordered 2 containers of Nob Hill Baked Potato soup and when I went to heat it up the following day, the use by date was 10 days prior. I called the store and management was wonderful. Refunded my purchase and offered to deliver fresh soup. Again, this past week, my husband was doing poorly so I put in an online pick up at Raley's Woodcreek. Once I realized, I put in the wrong pick up date, I cancelled the order and redid it with the correct date. I received an email from Raley's stating my order, for the 16th, was cancelled. On the 15th, the correct day, I received a message that my order was ready for pickup. I messaged back that I was on my way and messaged again when I arrived at the store. After waiting almost 20 minutes, I went in the store to see where my order was. Sonia, the lead, was surprised that it hadn't been brought out to me. She wasn't able to find the person that picked my order and brought it out herself. So, all was well until the next day. I received a phone call from the person that was picking orders. She said she had my order and it was the same as the order I picked up the previous day. I told her I had cancelled the order and received an email from Raleys acknowledging the cancellation, She told me, in a condescending way, that she didn't have time to read emails and in the future, I needed to call to cancel an order. She was rude. I said "I don't like the way you are speaking to me" and hung up. That is the last time we will be visiting the Raleys on Woodcreek. I will drive a longer distance to RaleysOne where customers are appreciated and treated with kindness. read more

Asked the girl at the deli and she said the lady working was on break and would be back in 10 minutes. I asked if anyone else could help, all I wanted was a cake in the case.... So I only come here to buy flowers for special events and I must say! The staff here are super friendly and accommodating! I recently purchased a Mother's Day bouquet and a few of the flowers were dying. They happily swapped them out for me!! (With zero annoyance). What an awful store. I hate raleys, moved away from one only to have me new closest store be...raleys. Customer service is trash. No one wants to help you and they move at the speed of a sloth. They don't listen to you because they're too busy flirting with each other. The produce remains awful but priced higher than Whole Foods and non organic. Good luck getting out of the checkout line any faster than 15 minutes even if there's only two people ahead of you. I actively plan my shopping trips so I can avoid coming to this store and really all raleys. The one pro? Can come here to pick up last minute burrata for $10 a ball. Pro tip it's $4 at Trader Joe's. This is a review of the E-Cart service. I do like this Raley's anyway as it's right near my place of residence, but that's beside the point. Had a bit of a mix up (through no fault of Raley's) and some $ confusion with the E-Cart order I placed on 5/13/24 and Abby was beyond helpful and I felt went the extra mile to make sure all was corrected and properly transacted. Amazing bakery staff, very friendly atmosphere! I was looking for a cake slice for my girlfriends birthday, I didn't want to buy a whole cake since it was just for us two, but the cake I was interested in did not have any slices only whole. When I found out, without asking, the wonderful lady behind the counter went back and had a whole new fresh slice for me from a whole new separate cake of the same variety. I believe this is the closest supermarket to my house, and it is just around the corner of the dog park I usually go, so it is convenient for me, if I am just looking for a few items. Despite the exterior look and the name, the inside is bright, organized and newly renovated. The regular price is about the same as safeway but the sales price is not that attractive (tho you don't need a membership card like Safeway for the sale price). Fresh produce section was kinda spotty. I think I might go here if I forgot to buy something or in need of something right away, but it won't be my regular stop. read more

Raley's customer service is dead! We've always considered Raley's to have great customer service until we attempted to make a return of a compromised product last week and were told they would not return clearance merchandise. The mayonnaise we purchased was still in date but had no safety seal and the product lid was not tight. The mayo was a darker color on top so we scraped it off a half inch but it had a funny smell and we didn't want to take the risk with a product that should be refrigerated after opening. We really didn't think that returning a $1.99 item would be a big deal but they refused to refund our money. When we emailed corporate customer service we received no response. I guess Raley's would rather lose a customer than to refund $2. We understand that clearance items may not be returnable (although there's no signage regarding this) but this item was clearly comprised. I hope no one else purchased this and got sick. The store on Woodcreek Oaks Blvd. in Roseville could care less about selling compromised food. Buyer beware! Follow-up: Talked to corporate today and they took care of it. Most importantly, they will talk to the store manager and make sure it is handled differently next time. read more

Why is it so hard for the employees to be friendly? I'm tired of being ignored when I'm paying hundreds of dollars for groceries at this store. I've seen the employees joking and visiting with other employees but then turn completely cold when helping me. Recently I had to return ice cream that was ruined by previous melting and the employee didn't have any kind of apology or sorry for the inconvenience, just cold stone silence. We've lived in this area for over three years now and every time we come here we regret it. The longest lines of any grocery store in a 5 mile radius. Not because they're understaffed, but because they're so inefficient at clearing the lines. I wasted more hours standing in line there than I'd like to admit. Okay.....we've gone to this Raley's three times in the past week for briquets. We went on Saturday late afternoon and they had none. (Let me mention to you that they only have one side of their entry doors unlocked and at this only entry there is no one wiping down carts!! They have placed wipes at each side of the entry that have been empty each of the three times that we have gone and a little wash station for your hands!!! I want to know that my cart has been sanitized BEFORE I touch it!!) The young man that was at the end of the charcoal aisle was stocking juices and said they were expecting a shipment during the night and would have it restocked by tomorrow. So on Sunday, my husband went yet again and none. We decided to order these online from somewhere else so that we knew we'd have them in time for the fourth of July weekend. I had a nail appt next door today and decided to go check to see if they had any mesquite briquets in and they had only three bags of regular charcoal and that's it!! So aside from not having the product in stock at all as stated by their employees, they are not practicing safe protocols for their customers!! Very poor service at the deli area (not enough help), hard to find anyone in the butcher area & in the produce area to answer questions & locate items. When you do find someone to help you they are not very friendly. I have spoken to the store manager about these issues & he says it is corporate either cutting back staff's hours or not hiring enough help. With the recent stabbing & a fire set in the store along with three other groceries that have either opened or about to open, I suggested he speak to corporate. read more

Disappointed. Today at around 4:30pm, I went to the deli section and there was 2 people working (1 woman, 1 man). I typically order a sandwich from the guy with absolutely NO problems at all and an actually fully satisfied customer. Although, today I decided to get a meal advertised on the glass as (1 entree, 2 sides) $8 and thought that it was a better deal. The lady behind the counter proceeded to ask me for my choices, in which I proceeded to look at all of the labels on each item. I politely asked for a prosciutto-filled chicken as my entree and she cut it in 1/2... if she had communicated with me I'd only be getting 1/2 of what was advertised, I would've chosen a different entree. There were so many pieces stacked on each other I didn't know they had to portion it out. I brushed it aside and moved onto my side and asked for the kale salad, which she placed on my plate. For the 2nd entree, I asked for the baked potato... she then asked the male co-worker "do we cut that in half too" and appeared that she didn't know what she was doing. After his response, she told me that it would count as two entrees when I already had the kale salad on my plate! The sad thing is if she knew the portions already she would have done it and not warned me... it makes me wished I had gone to another supermarket, restaurant, or even a different Raley's for better service. I'm typically a laid back customer, although either the customer service (emphasizing the lack of communication) or proper advertising was not present at this time. Just gave me the plate and didn't even say where to locate the utensils or give me one. She then helped my dad who had ordered the breasts and thighs deal, but she said there were no breasts left she could give him 1 drumstick or thigh instead. He told her that if he was paying the same price it'd only be fair to give 2 drumsticks instead because the breasts are bigger and the lady behind him in line agreed with him as well. I'd give 1 star due to the disappointment in customer service and communication, although another star goes out to having safe security monitoring, never being disappointed by the guy at the deli, and the nice customer service of the lady at the self-checkout. Have had countless issues with this store. Some include: expired food dates, always out of the items i want, and never having any hand baskets available (I have to walk to the cash registers and grab one myself.) Yesterday I tried to buy some juice from the produce section and there were several that expired 13 days ago. I brought them up front and told someone about it and they said that they would talk to produce about it. I then came into the store to pick up a couple of things for dinner and decided to check if they got new juices in. The same ones were on the shelf and nobody fixed this issue. I then had to speak to another manager about it and they said nobody told anyone about the issue. The store manager and assistant store managers were also not in today. This has happened before with other perishables in the store, but this is ridiculous...No wonder why they always have new employees. read more

This Raley's location has quickly because my "go to" grocery store because of its convenience and great selection. I will definitely keep coming back. The parking lot is a good size but typically pretty crowded. I can always find a spot, but it's usually about halfway down the lot. I could use the exercise, so I don't mind the walk. This store has a great Produce Department. They have super fresh fruits and veggies and I have been able to find some of my favorites here. I found some really delicious Nectaries here a few weeks ago as well as some Cotton Candy Grapes which were surprisingly really good. My favorite section of the store is their Natural/Organic section located by the Pharmacy. They have an expanded selection of all the natural and organic foods at reasonable prices. Their selection of Kettle Chips is only rivaled by Whole Foods. Did I mention that one time I came here they were having a Clearance Sale Blowout in the back corner of the store and I got a TON of soaps, lotions, pasta sauces, plastic utensils, shampoo, spices, etc. for $1.00-$1.50?! I was in heaven. They also carry a lot of my favorite foods here. Hatch Enchilada Sauce. Blueberry Ghirardelli Squares. Gold Peak Peach Green Tea. Peanut Butter Chocolate Haagen Dazs. This store is a reputation killer for the business. It is old, outdated, out of stock on most products and full of unhelpful employees. I went to the bakery counter got help with finding cake for a birthday party and the three of them looked at me and continued with what they were doing. No acknowledgement of any kind. Not even a hello, we will be right with you. I had to ask them if anyone could help me after a minute of being blatantly ignored. This store is not busy so the fact they are ignoring customers who are willing to pay is beyond me. Then go to the express checkout and the checker didn't say one word to me except "need a bag?" I like this store a lot. It might not be the cheapest option around but it is the closest and I have received great service from all departments and the manager here. Buy 6 wines and get 10% off - such a deal!! My grandson loves that they have shopping carts with cars attached to the front - The store is always clean and bright and enough staff at check-out so you don't have to wait too long. They also have the self-checkout as long as you don't have any alcohol. read more

Love this Raleys but have two complaints/ suggestions. #1 soda is ridiculously overpriced. Look at Walmart's prices. Would love to be able to buy on my way home. #2 the m&m cookies in the bakery are fantastic but I don't buy them anymore because you guys changed it to half the cookies for the same price. Rip off. Hey guys, check out this not so beautiful cake. So I purchased a Meyer lemon berry bliss cake for my ddaughter on 1/16/2020, and the presentation was horrendous! I was given a small discount considering it was terribly presented, frosting dripping off, smashed berries. I requested to have frosting added to the broken areas but was simply denied due to the cake decorator leaving hours earlier. I didn't have an option because a majority of the cakes are in a similar fashion. So I bit the bullet as this was exactly what she wanted, but we got more than we bargained for. The top berry had been touching the glass in the display, which left many mIcroorganisms on it, before I could take the strawberry off the cake my daughter had devoured it, leaving her with food poisoning on her 11th birthday, 1/17/2020. As though this wasn't bad enough, the berries within the cake were on the older side, slightly rancid, I'm not aure how long this cake had been in the display. I'm devastated, it was inedible, I knew it was a bad decision to purchase this cake with the knowledge of refrosting it but I had no idea the stomach problems that would come with it. I sent a message to corporate, I had no other option. I'm truly disappointed & I leave my suggestion to not purchase cakes from this location. I will never purchase a cake here again.. read more

I haven't been in this store for a long time because of several negative interactions but I needed ice and the self checkout was very busy with people checking out 50 items - very slowly- ugh. Jewish people celebrating Passover 2020 The female night manager, not only didn't know what Passover was (excusable for hardworking people but uneducated apparently) not only insisted there was no Passover food, but that Raleys at Woodacre has never had food for Passover and was very very rude about it. This is a plain lie - Raleys always has food for all the Jewish holidays. She is what we say in Yiddish, a shanda. Fortunately while there, I called Raleys in Loomis , spoke to a staff person, Ky, who went to look for what I wanted and indeed told me the Passover table was around aisle 7/8, so I got in my car and drive there to spend my $100. Thank you checkers at Loomis, and no thank you nasty night manager (9:00 ish pm) Look up Passover and explain it to your very nice night crew who were kind and decent, but none of them had ever heard of Passover.
