This is one of the more difficult reviews I've ever written…read more I needed a tire mounted on a motorcycle wheel and decided to use Thunder Chief Garage in Westminster (right down the street from where I live) It's a local business and they have always been friendly when I've stopped in. I dropped the wheel and new tire off and picked it back up when they called. I reinstalled it on the bike and realized that the tire was on backwards!! I took it back off the bike and took it back to the shop and asked them to turn it around. The mechanic argued with me and said it was correct. I assured him that it was not so he finally said he would change it. A little while later the owner came out and told me I was wrong. It angered me. We argued about it and he finally said that the ABS wouldn't work if I installed it the way I said it went. I finally took the wheel and tire home and put it back on the bike. It was wrong. I was wrong. I don't know how I got it turned around but I did. I HATE being wrong. I hate ADMITTING I was wrong. I know I need to go back in and apologize for being the idiot customer that everyone hates, and I will. Eventually. In the meantime I figured the least I can do is post a review. Let's recap: 1. I brought in the wheel and tire 2. They mounted it correctly 3. I came back and complained 4. They stood their ground against a very persuasive and irritated customer (me) And in doing so saved me an extra trip back to the shop. I hate being wrong but I really appreciate that they knew they were correct and wouldn't back down. Don't go to Thunder Chief if you want to be placated, go if you want to deal with someone who knows what they're talking about and won't back down when they're right.

I asked questions was met with friendly response. so when I rode in, I saw I had a engine fault code, a red light, a ABS light.. I went into "OHNO" mode. I was waiting for the report, Drody advised that I had put my new front tire on backward ( the tire rotation was right). the spedo reader, could not read because of that. I was advised that I do not need rear brakes. I said all this to say they are doing the right thing for the customer. I got a tour of the shop, clean, many bikes, some for sale. go see them. The owners & mechanics are riders, and are very helpful. I will use them again.

The told me it was running but still under powered. Test drove it, drives the same as when I dropped it off. I paid for parts up front on 12/3 and was told it was a clutch issue and would be done in a week. Gave it some time because of the holidays. Started to get curious again after the first of the year. Called and was told we're working on it and they'd had some changes at the shop. Called again the next week, same answer. Last week I went to the shop and was told Brody was out but would call me. Brody calls and I express my displeasure. Told him he had a week and I'll be picking it up. Picked it up today and was prepared to pay whatever was fair if it was fixed. It was not. Brody tells me he'll make it right. Takes an hour off the diagnostic time and still charges me $396.84 for a 3 month clutch repair (1-2 hour job) that did not resolve my issue. My neighbor recommended this place because he knows the owner. Hated to tell him they were terrible, but he apologized. 10 out of 10 would never use them again or recommend them to anyone.

I love BMW Motorcycles. So I sent in a request to Hopper Motorcycles asking what condition the bike was in & their bottom line on price. No response so I sent the same message in & still no response. I don't believe they liked it because I was asking for a bottom line price. A little lower price is a lot better than sending a bike to the auction. I ended up buying a used one i found on Cycletrader that was out of town. Even though I have to fly out, get a Uber to a hotel, spend the night in a hotel & then Uber to the dealership the next morning & then ride the bike home (I would have rather purchased local than going thru all of this). Good service & response is very hard to find now days.

Once the tow truck got our motorcycle and us there Red and his entire team took over. It was important that we got back on the road to get to the hotel that night.Red and his entire staff stayed even past business hours to ensure that we were back on the road.Not only did they repair the tire, but check the bike over for us. All the staff we're very knowledgeable and very professional. The building was impeccable, and Red, shared with us, his vision for the future. Their work was first-rate. It was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the shop to anyone. To our surprise, there is an 11 acre rv park, a airbnb and there's a museum in the works. It's a great stop off for anybody, enjoying their bikes in that area.

I took two jet skis to Rick for a tuneup two years ago. Two years later, $5000 in bills, and more…read morethan ten trips back and forth and they still don't run right. Everytime I get the jet skis back, they run for a little bit then die. I take them back to Rick and he has his hand out for another repair. Finally just decided to sell the jet skis. I cannot recommend anyone take their jet skis to him for repair. Very incomplete job and refuses to be accountable for his work. Do yourself a favor and find someone else who will be accountable for the work they do.
