Came here for lunch on a Saturday and we were seated right away. The service is pretty slow and it took a while for someone to take our order. The food was even slower and once it came it was cold. I ordered the cheesesteak with cheese curds which came out to 18$- way overpriced for the size and quality when it was cold and soggy. Delicious! We've been here a few times now and everything we try is amazing as is the service. This time we had the green chili chips and queso, the bacon jalapeño Mac and cheese, and a kids Mac and cheese. The queso was super creamy and the chips were thick and lightly dusted with a seasoning. What can I say about the bacon and jalapeño Mac? The bacon was crisp and the jalapeños on top were fried....mmmmm. We split the Mac and they served it in two bowls for us. The kids meal came with a choice of drink and side. This was a pleasant surprise. We hadn't seen it heard of this place. All we knew was it was in the old Wahoo's place. They had a great menu selection. I had coconut shrimp tacos (go with corn tortillas...). They were pretty tasty. My wife had a shrimp PO boy. It was good, and head decent spice. This burgers and chicken are bomb. So the concept is that this place is like five food trucks rallying all on one menu with a bar. And I think the concept works well. It's a reboot of the new concept for the Cubana restaurant that was in the spot previously. So the vibe is still cool and modern and breezy and the bartenders are still friendly and the table wait staff are even better than the bartenders. We were greeted at the door immediately and seated immediately. Bree was our waitress and did an excellent job -- natural friendliness combined with training in customer service gave us fast service, a sweet smile and good information on the menu. The menu has sections -- one for a selection of chicken sandwiches on brioche buns (gluten free substitution for a $1), one for some beef choices and another for pork sandwiches. In the center are house-made corn tortilla tacos. And there's a food-truck offering of "smothered plates" including poutine and smothered fries. For a smaller appetite, how about chicken tenders with various sauces? There are salads, but with the savory choices, I wonder how many they sell. Kid choices, sides, desserts and drinks round out the menu choices -- really, a big variety and everything is a la carte, so you can make up your meal by choosing exactly what you want. Prices are reasonable and portions are bigger than you might expect at the prices. I got a crispy chicken sandwich with everything and enjoyed it. The bun almost made it to the last bites, lol. My wife got a grilled chicken taco with a (seasonal) peach salsa on it. She said it was good, especially the salsa. The restaurant is bringing special menu items reflecting the temporary availability of Palisade peaches in the area. It's a nice addition to the FOCO food scene and it's close to us, so we're likely to be back. Hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in Colorado. Perfectly cooked and was ready in under 10 minutes. Customer service was also wonderful. Nope. Nope. Nope. I'm tired of giving FoCo restaurants a free pass just because they are new. I was really excited about the menu and could envision myself going back to try different things. However, after waiting nearly an hour after I ordered to receive cold food, I won't be back. The restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of staff. New restaurants must figure out a way to get their act together before inviting guests. The management should have recognized the excessive wait times at every table and fixed the issue. Bad kitchen staff, bad management, LOOONG wait time for food, and cold food. Fort Collins has many great restaurants to choose from, but this isn't one of them. read more
