We went into Rally's for lunch the other day. The waitstaff was very friendly and out waitress was very competent. We will not go back for the simply reason that every thing is ala carte. When you order a hamburger for $8.99 you should not have to order your sides and pay for them. read more

Got a flyer in the mail for 15% off the entire meal so we decided to give this place a try. The restaurant isn't very large but it wasn't packed. We were seated instantly, which was nice. Our waitress came up and got our drink orders in about 5 minutes. She brought them out and then disappeared for another 10 minutes. We didn't get straws so I got up and grabbed those from the bar. Our waitress finally came back and took our order. The appetizers were out quickly and entrees soon followed. The food wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't fantastic. We ordered 3 appetizers,, burgers and Mac and cheese. The burgers were supposed to be well-done; they weren't. The Mac and cheese tasted like wet shells topped with shredded cheese. To top it off, our waitress came back to our table only once and it was shortly after the food was delivered to the table. We didn't see her again so we each had a single napkin and no drink refills for the entire meal. It's nice to say we tried it, but we certainly won't be back. Rally 5 leaves me speechless. Not even a review can do them justice. I'm a taco junkee, I eat them at least 3 times a week. Rally 5 has my all time favorite tacos (Caribbean fire shrimp). The food is always amazkng, the staff always blows me away and it's always fast. My first time in my server was Morrea and every time I ask for her. She was so friendly and made me feel welcome. She made sure my order was perfect and that it came out quick. Definitely ask for her and please if you haven't ate here... do it. read more

The service was fast and pleasant. The food was decent. I love a good variety of options which Rally5 has, however, the tacos were a little underwhelming. I had the Al Pastor and Korean BBQ. The al pastor was a little bland and everything pretty much fell out. The Korean taco was pleasantly spicy. Wife had some chicken tenders that were delicious, and the onion rings were amazing. Wow, first time there and will definitely be back. A great place for a group of friends to sit back and share plates of deliciousness along with a cocktail or three. The poutine was perfectly traditional...the way poutine should be. A dish that is best served with a sunny side up egg, cooked perfectly. Round two was an Ahi Tuna taco. The mango salsa was the right mix of heat and sweet. The slaw rounded out the taco. However the star of this show was definitely the tuna. Round three was chilaquiles. Tortilla chips (roasted in a chipotle sauce), guacamole, jalapeños, and cilantro crema. Finished with hand battered onion rings with a house sauce. The battered rings were crisp to the bite. We had chips and peach salsa, fish tacos, Mac and cheese with green chili, peach cobbler and a peach milkshake. It was all wonderful! Today was my first time here and I came in for happy hour. Upon arriving the place was empty but filled up pretty quickly short after. The servers were polite and very nice. Once we ordered we received our food pretty quickly. The food itself was pretty good and tasted fresh. The sauces that were provided were good as well. We did have a few issues with the bill at the end and the happy hour menu doesn't explain the food items well which is where the confusion and miscommunication from the server happened. Also, the server didn't mention that the sauces for the meal were extra money. In conclusion, the food was good and so was the service and the manager? Owner? Not sure what he was fixed the bill issue right away and we left content. I would definitely try this place again . read more

We stopped in on a weekday night to try this new grub stop on Harmony. It's in the same space where Wahoo's used to be, in that architecturally appealing strip mall with the copper roofs. They describe themselves as "Street Eats & Bar" - that means upscale food trucks, not Dilbert stunning a pigeon with his briefcase. There is a NOICE selection - I, who usually have no problem picking something out, had trouble picking just one thing. I started with an order of poutine - it was enjoyable (I favored the gravy, and the family relished the fries). The wife ordered a couple of mojitos, which were tasty and strong, and the bar has lots of options. I added an al pastor taco - it was good, but I privately wished for a bit more heat. Offspring chowed their ahi tuna taco (they have a remarkably developed palate) and wanted more. The only down part - wife's shaved ribeye sandwich was soggy. But the staff at Rally5 perceived her disapproval, offered to bring a new one AND comped it. For a place that has only been open a couple of weeks, they really have it together. Harmony really needed a place like this, one that has 1)fun atmosphere 2)good food 3)reasonable options 4)originality. I like the whole "food trucks as a dining scene" but trying to figure out where they'll be at any given time can be irritating. I had a great lunch at this place. The staff was wonderful and attentive and our food was delicious. I ordered the cheeseburger with a side of green chili. Perfectly cooked burger, properly sauced and well melted cheddar cheese and the right quantity of lettuce, tomato and pickle. The cup of green chili was one of the better ones I've had in a long time. My wife had the chicken taco and loved it. They put some shredded cheese in the pan and a tortilla on top of that. When folded the cheese forms a hard crust and the ingredients were awesome. Chicken with a buffalo hot sauce. Green chili for her too and we ordered a side of sweet potato tots that were fantastic. The house sauce was really good with the tots, but the caramel sauce was a bit too sweet for me. Because we are nice people we were given a complimentary poutine that had a perfect gravy over fries and fried cheese curds. Delicious, but we were stuffed and couldn't finish everything. We went here when it first opened. Weren't impressed. Saw they added mac n cheese from mac'd up and decided to try again. 100% improvement. Waitress was very nice and helpful. Iced tea was brewed and fresh. She suggested the fish taco. Confirmed the MAC was good and also the onion rings, so I had the fish taco and my husband had the steak taco. This place is amazing. Went on Halloween for lunch. The bartender was amazing and gave some really good food recommendations. After we ordered she told us we got a free drink with. Who can say no to a free beer? I got the chicken ranch taco on her recommendation and that was awesome. Then I got the jerk chicken taco which was innnnncredible. Got a side of Mac and cheese with it too which is amazing. If you do get the two tacos and a side be very hungry. So good! read more

We love trying new restaurants, so we went to Rally 5 for the first time last night. Same spot as Cabana, which closed a month ago. Same owner. Great first impression. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly, courteous and attentive. He explained the menu, which is an eclectic mix of burgs, sandwiches, chicken and tacos, with a few different twists. Wife ordered the spicy philly and I got the hangover burger. The hangover is a patty with a fried egg, bacon and green chili. It is awesome. Made with shaved rib eye, that philly is also tasty. We also got a side of onion rings with fire sauce. This place might have the best rings in town. The place was buzzing, which is key on a Friday night. There is really only one gripe from the experience - we both noticed our mixed drinks were very light on alcohol. She ordered a vodka soda and I had a marg. I couldn't taste even a hint of tequila in my marg and same on the vodka soda. We both switched to beer. This is something easily correctable and won't keep us from returning. We came here after reading the great reviews and were incredibly disappointed. I'm not sure if the cook was having a bad day or if this is the standard but neither my husband or I enjoyed out meal. The onion rings were great and aside from that, I wouldn't order any of the rest again. My jalapeno popper buger was seriously underwhelming. The cheese wasn't melted, the bacon was soggy and undercooked, and the "pickled jalapenos" were bland. My husband ordered the Zwei Ipa Philly and rather then a hoagie it appeared it was served on a soggy hot dog bun. The aioli that comes with it was left off and rather then bring it to us and say, "sorry we forgot this" the waitress brought it over and said, "you should add this, it's really good, it's the staff's favorite way to eat it." We laughed it off knowing she was just trying to cover the mistake. Overall, it was a disappointing meal and I doubt we'll be back. read more

The food was great but the service was trash. We were seated and our order was taken. The food came out at a decent time, but after the food was given the waitress didn't come over for at least fourth five minutes. By the time she came over two of the four people at my table had run out of their drink a while ago. On top of that once we finally got our ticket to pay we had to wait another fifteen to twenty minutes before she even came to pick up the receipt. Not once did she ask us how or food was either and I mean there was only one other table there the entire time that we were there. If you want great service and excellent food, this is the place! The Fish and Chips is cooked beautifully with a tasty light coating full of interesting flavors while the fish remains moist and delectable. It's obvious they use high quality fish. Try the Crispy, Cheddar, Chicken, Bacon Taco. It is amazing and full of great flavors! I can't say enough good things about this taco surprise. The Cobb Salad has never disappointed either and is a great choice with more than enough to fill you up (or take home left overs for another meal). My sister and I love to eat here because the food has always been delicious,. Oh - and the drinks are good, too! We try something different with each visit. Probably the worst experience. Sat there for five minutes before we where even noticed or asked if we wanted to order drinks. Than once we ordered our drinks say another five minutes to get those. Asked to get an appetizer before our food and it came out with our food. Ordered the fish and chips and chicken sandwich and the chicken sandwich was two pieces of chicken tenders on a piece of bread. The fish and chips where fish sticks in a basket. The waitress threw our stuff on the table and walked away. I asked three different people for something now I can't remember but each one acted like they couldn't be bothered. I was quite disappointed with the quality of food and service. When my wife and I went, we sat at the bar. During that time, the bartender gave us the drinks we ordered but only asked me for a refill twice, while my wife sat there with an empty glass. Next, the food is what I was wishing would make the difference but we were wrong. Most things are a la carte and makes having a decent meal expensive. The food was not that good. The burger was sub-par but what really took a turn for the worst was the poutine. That gravy, I believe, was store bought and warmed up in a microwave. Absolutely no flavor. The fries were basic (I've had better ones from the grocery store that I make at home in my oven) and the cheese curds were very disappointing. Lastly, my wife order one of the gourmet dogs and it was only cooked in water! Not even finished off on a grill or stove top. The only reason we went there was because of a BOGO coupon. Even with that, it still couldn't make up for the bad food. read more

We came here knowing that the owner has had several failed places in the last year (Cabana, Mac'd Up) and another one that apparently is good (Simmer). The main issue is the "A la Carte" model, which reminds me of Frontier airlines: They make it look like you only pay for what you really want, but by the time you make your meal, you end up paying $26 for a small burger, two beers and a small portion of fries. They give you one sauce for free, but you have to pay extra if you would like another liquid ounce of another sauce. I asked for a medium rare burger and they brought a dry, well-done burger. I sent it back and they brought a medium burger (still no pink) that looked much better and juicier (they did not charge me for the burger). It was just OK, but not for more than $8. My friend ate her superdry burger because she had not specified how she wanted it. She did not like it at all. When the manager came, we asked him if the patties were frozen (that would explain the lack of pinkness), but he said they were grass-fed, organic and fresh. They will have to step it up in the kitchen then. This is street food at restaurant price with frozen dinner quality. Disappointed but not surprised (Cabana was pretty mediocre as well). read more

Rally 5 offered several seasonal entrees featuring Colorado peaches. I had the pulled pork sandwich with grilled peaches. It was wonderful--the mix of slightly spicy, sweet bbq with the freshly grilled peaches was perfect. These specials may be over, but the menu offers many more options I'm looking forward to sampling. read more

Super fun atmosphere. Great place to take the family or a casual date. Prices are low, food is tasty. They have a pretty good special now - buy two drinks and BOGO when you purchase a taco, burger, or sandwich after 6pm. We had cheese curds (app), Cuban sandwich, buffalo chicken taco, Korean BBQ taco, a side salad, and 3 beers all for less than $50! Service was fast and friendly. We will be back! read more

My husband and I chose this as our first date after the new baby, because it was close and seemed like it would be quick (and we weren't sure how the baby would hold up without us). We ordered poutine as an app - the fries and curds were perfectly crispy and the gravy was delicious. I had the grilled chicken and peach sandwich and he got the pulled pork and peach sandwich on the waiter's recommendation (Josh, our waiter, was great - knowledgeable and attentive but not pushy!). Both were really good, and we wanted to lick the sauce off the plate. We never get apps, entrees, and dessert, but the desserts here were so reasonably priced that we had to give it a shot. We split a churro donut with added ice cream and were surprised that this new restaurant got all three courses just right. Including soft drinks, it was under $30 and we both walked away happy and full. I'm hoping they're around to stay. read more

We ate at Rally5 a couple months ago, I thought it worthwhile to post our review because our experience differed so much from other recent reviewers! We went on a quiet afternoon and sat on the patio, which was really nice. I ordered two tacos and the special oreo malt and husband ordered poutine. The kitchen delivered the wrong tacos so I actually got to try a third flavor for free, thankfully so because that was the only one I mildly enjoyed. Onto the poutine, which is over the top no matter what, but it was like a salt lick, there was no other flavor besides overpowering salt. Finally, the malt was actually so flavorless that I didn't drink it. I NEVER turn down a dessert and I didn't think it was conceivable to make a bad milkshake, but we just set it aside. To the staff's credit, they noticed it sitting there and offered to re-make it but I thought if the first milkshake was bad, how would the second one improve. Very nice staff and atmosphere, but we won't return to try more food. Wish it would have been different, we enjoy trying new restaurants! read more
