Here is a copy and paste of what I sent to Ralphs headquarters via email today. The deli in this store is very well stocked with merchandise, unfortunately they don't seem to have any management to move people into place to service customers. The deli in your Miracle Mile store is not managed correctly. You could probably do 4 times the lunch business you currently do if you had staff actually helping customers instead of changing out rotisserie chickens during the noon hour. Today I went in yet again to try to get a deli sandwich. I pulled out number 30 and they were currently serving customer 20, at that time around 12:10PST there appeared to be 2 women helping customers, but then a man appeared out of the back with a bunch of chickens on a spit and was loading them into a cooking machine. Then one of the women that was helping customers was seen carrying platters of cooked chicken into the back. Then she abandoned the front counter and was dealing with the chicken. So at this point you have quite a few customers and only one person serving, I started talking to other customers, we were all disgusted and talked about how horrible the wait was. There were at least 5 deli employees on hand but they were all busy in the back other than one person helping customers? You have a problem, I left and went elsewhere to lunch. I don't even understand how you have "ANY" customers at that counter, as this is not the first time I have encountered the long long wait. I would pull people off the chicken duty and have the counter fully staffed during at least the lunch hour? Or hire more people or something, that could be a booming business but not without proper management. I do remember a few years back before the remodel there was a different crew, better managed and that place was really hopping....now it looks nice but I won't be going back for shabby service. read more

This place is your standard Ralph's. well stock with what you expect. I wish they had a few more checkers.

This is my local Ralph's and I'm satisfied with it. It's quite large, and has a good selection of everything I need, although for more of the gluten free/ alternative stuff I'll go to whole foods right up the street. The staff is super nice and they conveniently have my bank, Wells Fargo, that is open 7 days a week. read more

Absolutely a mediocre Ralph's. It's like the one on western and wilshire..,eternally dark, dingy, and poorly stocked. The one on la brea and 3rd is worth the extra three minute drive. read more

i like to shop here. there are many athings to buy. and also shopping here i dont get scam, they dont rob me. I also like that their stuff is not fake. And many people also shop here so I know they must be legit. And the food is not rotten so it must be good. read more

Half-way decent. Sometimes they're completely out of stock on chicken, sometimes they have a ton of it. Same applies to beef. They have a lot of the harder to find items, like jicama, but it's not always fresh or worth the price. Garlic from this Ralphs usually sucks, but at least it isn't moldy like it is from the Whole Foods on 3rd. read more

I really like this Ralphs for lunch and for a snack. The self checkout area is rarely crowded and the store is always clean. The Deli servers are friendly and I really don't have many complaints but I only go during the day so night staff might be less than stellar. Who knows? read more

I go to this Ralph's at least 3 times a week and it is not only clean but always well stocked. The thing that separates this Ralph's compared to other ones nearby ( the one on la brea and 3rd) is the staff is actually good. Big shout out to Nelson by far the best ever. read more

One of the best Ralphs I have been to in the LA area. Sometimes I stop into the Pasadena one by my work, sometimes the Beverly Hills one on Olympic. And yes I am a huge fan of Whole Foods. Love the organic, wild caught, non gmo, etc. I recognize that it is not Whole Foods, but the people that work here are so nice, the seafood and meat selection is great, and I'm always surprised by the fresh organic produce. Certain things you can't spect to be perfect but overall I'm so lucky to have this Ralphs by me. And again, the absolute best I've been to in the la area. read more

Best Ralphs I've shopped at in LA. It's a huge fresh fare. Great friendly staff who are eager to help. Lines always move extremely fast. I live in the neighborhood and go here more than once a week, and it is consistently well managed and clean, products are always of highest quality. Never had a problem. read more

4 stars for the very well kept women's restroom! The self serve salad bar is my go-to for a healthy yet satisfying lunch on the go (kale, turkey or chicken, caprese style tomatoes, soup, pasta...) I love the broccoli-bacon thing that used to be on the pasta side of the bar...but I can't seem to find it lately. Maybe I'm just there on the wrong days. But if you're picking a number to get someone behind the counter to help you, be prepared to wait. A couple of times the ladies just got really busy, as I felt my lunch hour tick tock away. But if you have the time, their hand sliced turkey is awesome! Decent selection of coconut water in the "natural" aisle. Parking has never been an issue for me in the garage. read more

I used to go to the Ralph's on 3rd & La Brea, but was very unhappy w/their lack of CS & the ongoing construction work. They have some of the worst,most rude,unhelpful(if you can find one)employees on the planet! From the stupid, ignorant, unhelpful guys in produce to Dana in self check out, who is very unfriendly, yet efficient to Alex, the nite supervisor - these are some of the most unfriendly and or rude employees I have come in contact with in Customer Service positions! I started frequenting the Wilshire store which is open 24hrs. and they have some great things & deals that other stores do not have: fresh made enchiladas & burritos(huge)in the cooler next to the Deli, 'Have a Chip'(tamari coated, very crunchy tortilla chips in the Deli area) and a huge area in the rear of the store w/ discounted baked goods(cake,donuts,breads,etc) + lots more goodies, like holiday candy, mugs and more! I usually go @nite and Brandon is the young, sweet, very helpful guy in charge. Dominica, in the Prepared Foods is very friendly & helpful and he man who runs the self check out is pleasant and helpful, also! They have underground parking, which is a bit of a nuisance, but it is Free & Convenient. I like this store a lot for the much friendlier and helpful CS + the afore mentioned deals! SJS read more

It's your run of the mill chain grocery store. They have pretty much anything you'll need to get you through the week. They have a garage, which is clutch if you don;t like looking for street parking in LA. The staff is very helpful, and the cashiers are friendly. read more

0 stars would be my first choice.. But since that doesn't work, ive chosen one star. I came here once, for balloons. I know it sounds strange to be writing a review after purchasing balloons only.. but it was a really terrible experience. First, when we came in, we decided to first take a look at the balloons. One of us, gently pulled on one, and did not realize that rolls of ribbon were attached to it.. so the ribbon fell. The person who came to help, was constantly making fun.. Very unprofessional, and made us feel like trash. He than went on to have us blow up the balloons, since he didn't seem to know how to do it. I cant complain if someone cant blow them up, but he seemed to be laughing at us, and making fun of how we were doing it. I really did not appreiciate it. Every 30 seconds or so, he kept asking for us to hurry up, so he can go on his lunch. After a bit, we requested to speak to his manager. He refused to get his manager for us, "since he needed to go on his break" Additionally, at the end, he made some racist comment that really through me off. Yes, I am.surd the products here are good.but having one bad experience is all it takes. I am not one to wrote negative reviews on yelp. Generally, I enjoy writing the good ones.. but now, I felt like its what I hat to do. If you want good service, do yourself a favor and go to another store. If you just want in and out, I guess its worth going. read more

Deli is sloooooooooow. Every time I go. No matter when. Always moving at their own pace. Which is slooooooooow.

This Ralph has parking underground, there is plenty of parking and is very convenient. I went to three places within the supermarket. I went to the Deli, and the lady at the counter was very sad, horrible attitute but helped me with what I needed it, I bought sliced turkey. Then I went to get a coffee at the Coffee Bean, and waited a long time for a young lady with red stripes of hair to come and give me the worst attitute ever for a cup of coffee. Finally, I went to pay and a very unpleasant cashier roughly scanned all my merchandise. There was a box of cookies she couldn't scan so she bang the box against the scanner until she could scanned it. I said to please not be so rough with the box in which she replied for a sarcastic attitute. Love Ralphs, but not this one. Service was so horrible that I had to write this!! read more

I've been coming to the Ralph's for over a decade and am usually never disappointed. I went to the deli section, which closes at 8pm, at 7:55 knowing they were about to close. The lady behind the counter was still helping one customer so I figured she would still be able to help me, but told me she was already closed and I replied but you're still helping him and she completely ignored me. Normally I wouldn't have gone up to the counter that late knowing they were closing but she was still helping somebody. I saw another lady who seemed to be dressed as the manager standing right next to the deli section and asked what time they closed she looked at her watch and replied 8 o'clock tonight and then walked away. I work in customer service/restaurant industry and as much as it sucks you take every customer until up to exact closing time that's just the business we are in. And as I am typing this review and walking by the deli section another customer is being helped and it's definitely past 8. Awesome customer service guys wish you would've helped me out like that. read more

On Sunday June 20,2011 I purchased 2 of Ralph frozen calzones which I ate without out checking thee expiration. I guess that was my fault. After vomiting for the past few hours I finally checked out the box to find that One of which was date USE not SELL by 6-3-2011 which isnt terrible and may not have caused the vomiting. Yet the other was dated once again USE not SELL by 11-25-2010. I am very discussed at the fact that they would have a product on their shelves with their name on it that is so out date. So personally I will no longer be shopping there and I will be compiling a list of product in which they should have been more considerate to rotate. So for your safety please be responsible and check the dates because if I would have fed that to my child and he were to get sick I would be furious. read more

Lots of parking an friendly staff. Underground is a plus in that area. Not a fan of the deli compared to 3rd st. ralphs.

The staff and store is always clean. The store is fun to shop at, as well as the pharmacy there is also handy. Lots of parking in the garage

I must say I agree with Munk M. on this one. Line was awfully packed at 1 in the morning. Yet there was only one register open. In short never in my life have I ever waited 10 minutes just to buy some cereals. read more

I like this Ralphs and the garage parking. When it's raining my groceries won't get wet. When it's sunny, my car stays cool. Nice. They always seem to have plenty of friendly help and lots of self checkout stations. But they often run out of romaine lettuce and plain Greek yogurt for some reason. Have you ever had a sandwich that made you want to slap everyone that works at subway? I have at this Ralph's Deli. I can't thank Dominique enough for the sandwiches she puts together. I will happily wait for hours to get the love she puts into my sandwiches. If you are looking for a sandwich that shuts out the world while you eat it look no further than this deli. Horrible Fish & Meat department!!!! Don't go after 2pm. You will receive horrible service. I shop here at least 3 times a week and I am going to go somewhere else! Today I was number 3 in line at the fish department so I waited 20 minutes, to be serviced which I truly understand that some customers need a little extra time. I finally order my fish and because I wanted it fried I knew it would take approximately 15 minutes. I return 15 minutes later and the frying station was beeping. I look over to see my fish was cooked but sitting in a basket. For 15 more minutes I spot 3 more employees and ask them to please give me my fish. None of them can find the guy who works there and all 3 of them tell me they will get someone. The only thing they managed to do was turn off the beeping. 10 minutes later the original guy, Edgardo, I believe his name is, shows up and I tell him what is going on with my food. He says, "Oh, man. I completely forgot your food. My bad. I'm sorry." I spent more than and hour there because this dimwit of an employee is rude, slow and completely oblivious. He doesn't know how to give FAIR customer service. Yes, fair, not even good. I have spoken to that department's Manager about his rudeness 3 times and twice to two sales managers which I must say, helped his attitude but there is nothing that can be done about his service. If it wasn't because I walked there and I was getting fish for my kids, I would have left. If you want to have good customer service at this Ralphs, DO NOT STOP AT THE MEAT AND FISH DEPARTMENT AFTER 2pm. I tried to accept Edgardo's sub-par customer service by saying myself, "that could be my son." Then I said, "maybe this kid has some mental challenges" because I wanted to give him a chance. I'm not trying to be funny or mean. I'm being honest. Today I have given up on him and if Ralphs won't do anything, I will. I have been going to this Ralphs for the past 6 years because I live around the corner but today is my last. read more

I have been shopping here for 20 years, and I am really tired of this place. The meat and produce and below par. Today, I just called to find out if they have a particular item. The first time I called, no one answered the phone. I placed a second call and got a very unprofessional woman (she answered by saying "Yeah" and didn't even identify the store) who said she would find someone for me to ask. She transferred me to another woman who said she would, again, find someone for me to talk to. She transferred me to a man who said they did not carry the item. I told him I bought it there 2 days ago and he hung up on me. I called back to talk to the manager. He was very nice, but the staff at that store is very frustrating. The only reason I will go back is for their amazing pharmacy, the bakery birthday cakes (don't try to call that dept either) and the bank that is conveniently located inside of the store. read more
