    Ten shin fried rice

Came back for dinner on 6/27/26 and this place never disappoints. We have been regulars for many years now and we keep coming back for flavors and customer service. Tonight, a new host was there and she was very nice, personable and provided good service. The portions have definitely gotten smaller but flavors are still very good. We also appreciate the music they were playing, we love K-Love radio station. Will definitely be back.

service: 5/5 ambiance: small casual diner in strip plaza, plenty of parking highlights: - * DARE I SAY BEST RAMEN I EVER HAD* - (5/5): black shisen ramen: thiccc chashu meat, did not skimp. broth SO flavorful. noods perf al dente. 12/10, no notes - coconut ramen also good, reminded me of creamy tom yum - s/o to our server in glasses, v nice and attentive

Service is quick and efficient. It's a very small shop - more so a place to get a quick meal. The ramen we ordered had good broth and was very flavorful. The noodle texture was great especially the thicker ones. The fried rice was nice too and portion sizes for the rice were generous. Wish the ramen did come with a bit more meat though. Overall, would come back!

Busy busy.... at location and take out. Favorite place for Ramen. Original for me and Spicy for the asawa.

    Shisen red with meat

My first time having red shisen meat ramen...very different than black shisen with garlic oil. I liked it pretty good. Soup base was not too rich nor too watered down. I should have gotten the more spicy version.

Always such a good experience coming here. The restaurant is small but cozy, and intimate lighting. We usually sit at the bar area and are served pretty quickly. All of the broths here are super delicious. This time the meat wasn't that tender and a bit difficult to chew. Its usually a one person show and gets pretty busy at night, but they always take our order promptly and the food is out in no time. One of my favorite ramen spots around here.

Ramen was good why not 5 stars over all? I mean small place, they got beer and ramen. Why not? I got the miso ramen and oh man was it so tasty Karage chicken was pretty fair, not too bad. Wifey got the spicy miso ramen I guess??? It was pretty good too but too spicy for me Noodles are perfect btw. Pretty cool spot with lots of parking.

Food was good. Definitely perfect when it's cold outside. I only wish there was a little more meat than just one piece.

DELICIOUS! Was craving some ramen and was not disappointed. The broth was sooooooo flavourful and the meat was cooked perfectly. We will be seeing you soon, Ramen Izakaya Ajido!

Went here for lunch around 1pm and there was no wait at all. They updated their menu. I usually get the Red Miso Ramen, which is my absolute favorite. With the menu change, the ramen is now named the "spicy Rich miso ramen" instead of the red ramen, so I mistakenly ordered the Red Shisen Ramen, but it was cool to try something new for a change. For the Red Shisen Ramen, they had me choose the spice level. I got Level 1, which already had a good kick to it! If you're not good with spice, then this one definitely isn't for you. The flavor was alright. I honestly prefer their miso based broth. I added a flavored egg for 2.50 and I was so disappointed. Usually the egg is soft boiled, but today, the yolk was cooked well done all the way through. The egg didn't taste flavored either. I've gotten their flavored egg before and it has always been perfectly cooked and has the soft yolk, so today must have been an off day. Will definitely have to come back for the Rich miso ramen, but I'll probably skip the egg next time!

They only have a couple of locations in SoCal, so there's usually a wait, but it's definitely worth it. The staff are wonderful. My go to is the Tonkotsu since that's what they're known for, and it was delicious. This time I decided to try the Black Devil Ramen, which combines their black garlic oil tonkotsu broth with their spicy tonkotsu broth. I'm really glad I switched it up because the black garlic gave the broth a much deeper, richer flavor, and the little bit of spice balanced everything out perfectly. I love spicy ramen, but not when it's so spicy that you can't taste anything else. Also added the Everything Topping and extra green onions because I'm feeling hungry. The extra veggies make it even better and definitely satisfied my hunger. Definitely one of my favorite ramen spots outside of Little Tokyo. If you're ever in the Torrance area and craving ramen, this spot is worth checking out!

The food was actually quite good. We both had a bowl of the Black Devil ramen at a spice level of 4. I was worried that this would be too much but it was actually a very manageable level of spice. The type of spice where I can still enjoy my food and not have to worry about eating it through hiccups or anything like that. I also had a side of the spicy katsu cutlet, which I also enjoyed very much. They brought me one big piece of chicken katsu and some scissors to cut it up, which I thought was neat. But every bite I had was wonderful, as it was clearly fried to perfection. The service was also on point and our server even let us try some of their devil sauce ( I do not remember if this was what it was called but it sure was spicy). A few drops of this in my bowl of ramen and I began to sweat profusely. She said barely anyone ever orders it and I can totally see why haha. She was also super nice to us and overall provided some excellent service, I did not quite catch her name. The interior of this place also feels quite small, but it is well ventilated. Just be mindful if you get up and walk around because there are people eating to your left and right.
