I stopped by this place in between errands when hunger struck. This is a small place facing Lomita Blvd. They seem to age a lot of items in their menu. I tried th le salmon bowl and it was good. My one complaint is that it lacked vegetables. My plate had 1-2 pieces of broccoli and green beans. Otherwise it tasted good. The customer service was ok. The place was clean. I will argue this hole in the wall behind a Savers parking lot has the BEST katsu sandwiches in this country AND I WILL DIE ON THAT HILL. That sandwich is a labor of love. The French roll, the double sauce (the double sauce quality), and the chicken is juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Also: they got a passionate chef. I'm really glad I found this sushi restaurant and really appreciative that they have delivery services. The majority of the time I have it delivered, very few times I picked it up. There are limited parking spots directly in front, but there's more around on the other side, there's a parking lot. The place is small. Cute, looks family owned. My absolute favorite thing to order is their Baked Salmon roll. So flavorful, warm, and delicious. Probably the best baked salmon roll I've ever had! Their California rolls are good, not dry. Miso soup is good. Their fried shrimp & vegetable tempura is pretty delicious. I like the combination of veggies used, you get a variety, including sweet potato. I was greatly surprised to find out these onions were prepped and seasoned in house, not store bought/prepackaged! If we're in the area again I would definitely go back and try other items. I decided to go and give this place a try. This place has plenty of parking and is right off of Western Avenue and Lomita Blvd. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Combo with Spicy Tuna Roll. It comes with fresh salad, miso soup with seaweed, green onion and tofu, full spicy tuna roll with the eight pieces and a generous bowl of chicken teriyaki chicken steamed broccoli, snap pea, green onions and jalapeños over a bed of rice and teriyaki sauce. The portion was generous and very filling with fair prices. Owner was very nice and service was excellent. Their menu has an extensive selection of sushi rolls, plates and combos. I'm looking forward to bringing some coworkers here sometime. This is a hidden gem! Looks like a place most people wouldn't look at twice, in a broken down shopping center attached to a laundry mat between Savers and the T-shirt store.
