    Veggie so good

Our new ramen spot! Came here for the first time after hearing so much about it and it did not disappoint! The flavors are so good, the service is fast and the prices are fair. Highly recommend coming here, you will love it.

Got there right before the rush. We had a great server who had some good recommendations and was very attentive. I needed veggie ramen to get over a cold. Vegetable Miso Ramen hit the spot! Came out nice and hot. Wife got the same but added chicken broth for a change in flavor. We got a side of rice for the kiddos and Naruto buns (my kid ate the bun and left the rest for us). Nice spot, with good service, my wife and kids all felt satisfied.

Came here with a larger group (6 people) & they were very accommodating. I ordered the shoyu tonkotsu ramen. I liked how you can customize spice levels! (1-5) I got a level 3, but I didn't find it too spicy & could've gone higher. As for the ramen, it was mediocre. I probably would've rated this place 2 stars if it weren't for the service and friendly waitresses. The ramen didn't come out super hot & the toppings were mushy & kinda cold. Nothing in the ramen tasted fresh. The chashu meat was also so chewy that I didn't even eat it. Basically, the ramen seemed like a bunch of things from cans thrown into the soup (canned corn, bamboo, etc) I would skip this place if you are looking for authentic ramen.

Service was super friendly. Tasty broth on the ramen and the katsu curry was delicious.

As a loyal and returning customer...I was surprised when I ordered my usual order today. Unfortunately my soft boiled egg still had some of the shell on it. It was good at first like always but then biting into the hard piece of shell felt awful and I didn't even feel comfortable eating anymore bc of the tiny egg shells. I wish I could get a refund, this ruined my whole meal, had to spit it out and I couldn't even finish my food. Super disappointed.

Me and the boyfriend tried this place for the first time tonight. Definitely a must try! We've had a lot of Ramen and nothing really tickles our fancy. He's always a good sport but I'm never really satisfied with the exception of tonight. We were really apprehensive in trying a new place but our server Ian really helped and guided us throughout the entire menu. I got the R8 which he explained was the most popular (chicken broth) choice and my boyfriend got the Route 66 (pork broth) both were exceptional. The wavy noodles are my favorite when enjoying Ramen and boy were theirs fantastic! I got a level 3 spice level which was spicy but just right. Definitely coming back!

Great flavors and I would come again to try their other ramens. Came in town for the weekend and felt like ramen for dinner. This place was close to my hotel so decided to give it a try. The place was a good size and already had half the tables filled when we arrived. We were seated quickly and gave the server it orders soon after, which were their signature Naruto66 ramen (level 1 spicy) and Tonkotsu shiro ramen. The only thing I would complain about is the time we had to wait; 20+ mins for two bowls of ramen felt too long. This was true for most of the other tables I noticed. When the noodles came, they looked really good and we dug right in. The wavy noodles were cooked just right and I especially liked the thin noodles in the Tonkotsu shiro ramen that reminds me of those found in Japan. The broth was nice and thick and very tasty. The chashu was cut very thin but came with many slices, and they had a good amount of both lean and fat parts. With black mushrooms, eggs, and scallions they completed a delicious bowl of ramen!

This restaurant uses Naruto as their gimmick for ramen. I must say that it's a mix review of good and bad so it is really worth just a 3 star. The spring rolls were fairly good so it was off to a good start, but the ramen noodle was another story. At first it looks great that they included corn, fungus mushrooms, and large amount of chasu for the bowl, however, the noodle was undercooked, the broth was lukewarm, the bamboo was sour as it came straight out of a can (which probably was). There was also no egg. If I'm paying $13 per small bowl of ramen at least include 1/2 egg please. Service was good, the waiter checked in with me frequently. Without the Naruto gimmick this place is really just sub-par. They should have exploited the interior with more Naruto art of toys but I only saw it one Naruto toy. Overall a bit disappointing for the visit.

We moved to Covina, my childhood neighborhood, from Koreatown recently. Decided to stop here on a whim and was impressed. First off, parking is plentiful. It's so nice to be in the suburbs again and not have to always pay for parking. Upon arrival we were greeted by Ian, who seated us promptly. He was super kind, knowledgeable and helpful. My husband and I were impressed. I'm not sure if he was the owner but with how professional he was, I would think he was. Give that man a raise! As a former server, I understand how to work a room and that is exactly what he did--one server for a whole restaurant. As for the food, we ordered a calamari appetizer and two tonkatsu shiro. It hit the spot! I was happy that it was only $12.95 each, what a steal. The restaurant had a very laid back vibe, and the playlist had some mood fitting tunes. We will definitely be back. Love Naruto anime and now, the restaurant.

New menu, same deliciousness. The curry was spicier than before, which made it that much more tasty! Seated fast, super friendly servers and greeters. It was a great dinner. The restaurant temperature was perfect, making it easy to eat ramen any day.

I've been coming to Naruto for the past 3, 4 years regularly. Think they've changed chefs in the past year or so (the taste was just a bit 'off' from my last visit), so today I decided to drop in for one more taste. Ordered the tonkotsu miso. Noodle texture was perfect and on point, soup tasted good. Instead of the usual silent anime on tv in the past now we have rock music videos (AC/DC, Ozzy, Guns N' Roses) on blast @ volume level 7. All this I can take... What was totally unacceptable for me was the soup temperature - it was lukewarm warm. I don't know what would be the reason/ justification to let the soup NOT be piping hot, but that's a total letdown from a ramen joint. Chashu pork slice portion was generous, but didn't taste great. It's a shame. Service was good and the server was attentive.

There aren't many ramen places where you can grab a bowl without leaving your car, which makes this local gem a convenient option when you're craving something warm and comforting. I tried the miso ramen, and while it was good, I think I'll explore a different broth next time. The noodles were decent, but I prefer the regular wavy noodles and would order those instead. I also added extra bok choy and was hoping it would be cooked a bit more, but it was still enjoyable. The broth was rich and satisfying, though I'd love a little more bamboo shoot and some added spice to really bring everything together. And maybe more mushrooms. The customer service was friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the differences between the broths, which I appreciated. While this wasn't my perfect bowl of ramen, it was still a solid dinner, convenient, comforting, and exactly what I needed on a cool night. I'll definitely be back to customize my bowl a little differently and see if I can find my favorite combination.

Absolutely loved my experience here!…read more From the moment I walked in, I could feel that this place is run with a lot of care and pride. The atmosphere is cozy but clean and modern, and you can immediately tell how much attention the owner puts into every little detail. The counter, the cutting boards, the knives, even the plates - everything looks spotless and well-maintained, which already gave me a lot of confidence before I even took a bite. The service is incredibly friendly. The owner and staff are not just polite in a formal way, but genuinely warm and attentive. They check on you at the right times, explain the dishes if you're curious, and you can feel that they really want you to enjoy your meal, not just finish it and leave. There's a sincerity here that's hard to find these days. It doesn't feel like a business only; it feels like you're being welcomed into someone's personal space where they truly care about the food they serve. Now, the highlight: the salmon. I've had salmon sushi and sashimi at many places, but the salmon here honestly stands out. The quality is on another level. The texture is incredibly buttery and soft without being mushy, and it has that natural sweetness and richness that only really fresh, high-quality salmon has. You can tell they're very selective with their ingredients. It doesn't have any fishy smell at all - just a clean, delicate aroma that makes you want to eat more. The way the salmon is cut and presented also shows the chef's skill. The slices are perfectly balanced - not too thin, not too thick - so you get that satisfying bite where the fish almost melts in your mouth. When you eat it with just a touch of soy sauce and wasabi, everything comes together beautifully. It's the kind of salmon that makes you pause for a second and think, "Wow, this is really good." They also offer different styles of salmon - like nigiri, sashimi, and rolls - and each one feels thoughtfully prepared rather than just quickly thrown together. Even the rice is well made: slightly warm, seasoned just right, and not falling apart. That alone shows the level of care in this place, because good sushi rice is not easy to get right. What impressed me the most is how clean and conscientious the owner is. You can actually see them constantly wiping down surfaces, organizing their tools, and checking the freshness of the ingredients. There's this calm but focused energy behind the counter. It gives you the feeling that they would never serve anything to a customer that they wouldn't proudly eat themselves. That kind of sincerity is rare and really adds to the trust you feel as a customer. Overall, this is the kind of sushi restaurant where you don't just come for a quick meal - you come because you know you'll be taken care of. Friendly service, an owner who is extremely clean, honest, and hardworking, and salmon that is truly special and memorable. If you love salmon, this place is a must-visit. I would absolutely come back again and again.

After a quiet drive home, I dropped the leftovers into the garbage can. "Disgusting!!" I arrived at Sushi Factory (Azusa) on Sunday (around 6:15PM). This overpriced tourist trap is located across Azusa Pacific University. Parking is easy since the lot is very big. Staff is well-meaning, elderly, and alert. Staff (receipt says Irene) appeared confused when I took photos. Irene had requested I sit closer to the counter in this fairly empty location, so she didn't have to walk much. Irene was cordial. The Rainbow Roll ($16.50) took four minutes and 15 seconds. Extremely fast. As mentioned, the Rainbow Roll ($16.50) tasted so bad that I spit it out. The salmon had the texture of glue and clay. The white fish tasted like lukewarm soap. Then, its California Rolls' filling tasted like microwaved crab juice, dribbled inside. Its rice even carried a wet, clammy, & gloopy texture. I felt furious as I paused eating. With a bright fake smile, I paid & quietly left. Regarding ambiance, Sushi Factory (Azusa) is clean and attractive. The tables are shiny, and the floors are relatively well-swept. I also appreciated the pink blossom decor. In the corner, there's even a television that plays the football game. The music had a cheerful, upbeat bounce. Overall, Sushi Factory (Azusa) is perhaps one of the worst sushi spots that I've tried in 2025. It's budget ingredients with high prices prepared lazily to prey on unsuspecting clientele. At its current state, I do not recommend. 1 out of 5

The front reception area was chaos with large parties waiting to be seated and scattered smaller groups of 3 or 4. I bypassed all that to get to the front and instead of a person is a tablet. All the human workers were scrambling around which told me they were "behind". I asked a worker about my phone order and she told me five minutes and took my payment. 35 minutes later I'm still waiting among the crowd who are also waiting to be seated. Workers are scrambling around like they just got trained that day. Confused looks and panic ruled the evening. Workers continued to jog past me to handing out drinks and trays of items and never checking back in with the small crowd. Confusion over clarity remained the theme as large parties asked why they haven't been seated yet. Small parties asked when they would be seated and I waited for (1) roll. A purely bad experience from start to finish from a place I've enjoyed in the past. The moral of the story is to expect the unexpected. Even though I've had pleasant experiences in the past here, I have to report the details of this visit based on its own merits and not prior visits. I ended up with my roll and it seemed like it was sitting back there somewhere ignored, like the groups waiting to be seated. It seemed not so fresh and like it was made 25 minutes earlier.
