Got my AC fixed here took it in for a quote and it was a little overpriced, but I got it fixed because I didn't have the time to wait previously before this I had got quoted in about 200 bucks but I had to work that day so I wasn't able to complete it so I just went ahead and did it. They quoted me 245 for the exact same thing I do think it's a little overpriced. I would not be returning, but the quality was good and the work was done so other than that, I can't really complain and they did have good customer service read more

I had a scary and negative experience. My experience started when I first called and made an appointment. I called to get a quote and make an appointment for my Honda civic. Please keep in mind, my Honda was having no issues whatsoever. But I just hit a mileage mark, and wanted to be proactive. So I called to get quotes on a spark plug replacement. I was told the cost would be $220. I agreed to make an appointment and bring my car in. I brought my car in on a friday. The first thing I was told by the person at the front desk was that I was quoted an incorrect price. And that the price person who told me that price made a big mistake. I was informed that the cost would actually be $372. Extremely suspect. But, I went ahead and got the work done anyway. Even though it was for $150 more than what I was originally quoted on the phone. The next day, saturday, I didn't drive my car. I stayed home all day. But sunday, I did drive my car. My car began to misfire while I was on the freeway. Extremely dangerous. My car began to shudder, lose power, jerk forward and backwards when accelerating. I thought I was going to break down on the freeway. I honestly didn't think I would make it home. When I did make it home, the car was still shuddering when idle. Extremely scary stuff! Since the place is closed on Sunday, I had to wait until today to bring it in. Today, I was informed that the car was malfunctioning because of a defective spark plug they installed. They apologized, and said that everything is covered under the warranty and that I did not have to pay anything. No joke, when they handed me back my keys, a bolt fell out! Like it probably belongs to my car. Due to this experience, I would not recommend this place and I would not come back. I'm actually afraid to drive my car. It was such a scary experience, I hope that all of the work was done correctly this time and that all of the parts are working. This was not an experience that I would want anyone else to have, so that is why I'm sharing. When you drive away from a shop you want to have confidence that the work that you paid for is done. That you have no reason to worry. You should be able to drive with confidence. Not your car acting and being in worse condition then when you brought it in. Took my vehicle here for a simple fix and said it would take 3 hours, then at the end of the day I had to call them only to find it it wouldn't be ready for another 2 weeks cause they had to order parts. Then they called me a week later saying they found lots of other problems. It went from a $400 job to a $2500 job. I got it done but my car broke down within a week cause they ordered wrong cheap stuff. I took it back and they made me wait another 2 weeks. My son took his truck in for a complimentary vehicle inspection before he drives it to college. He was called and told he needs a new rack and pinion but was not told how much it would cost. He drives a 2004 Silverado so it is not worth a lot of money anyway. He went back in to pick it up and was shocked that the bill was $1390. I feel like he was taken advantage of because he is an 18 year old kid. These repairs would not have been approved because they were probably close to more than the truck was worth. read more

They are scamming me right now! I have a carmax warranty. They filed a false claim with carmax saying they worked on the car for 6 hours when really it was 1 hour. They never asked my approval. They provided me with a falsified reciept from a previous visit where they erased the old work and put the new fraudulent work on it. They did this because that reciept had my initials and approval when this new work did not. They gave me my car back saying it was free of charge only to call me the next day demanding money. They did this because they couldn't provide me with a legitimate work order or reciept that didn't have fraudulent information on it. So they tried to get me to pay them over the phone for an amount with no work order. When I demanded the work order is when they emailed me the fraudulent reciept. This was 8-01-25.. the reciept they sent me date was 6-19-25 from my previous visit with all the new false information on it and forging my signature because I surely did not approve or sign anything this time. read more

We had to get new tires on my wife's car and someone recommended Ramona Tire. We went in and low and behold, they did have the cheapest tires that we had found and didn't charge an arm and leg for balancing and installation. After we dropped off the car, they called us and said they couldn't put the front tires on because of the faulty engine mount(s) and also said our right and left lower suspension is bad. All together, that cost was $2700.... when we went to pick up the car, they did in fact put the new tires on the front and not the back so we were thoroughly confused at that. We decided to get a second opinion on the engine mounts and suspension. We took it to a very reputable shop. They said the front engine mount needed replacing but that was it and the car looked great. We ended up paying $750 and the car runs great. I would recommend Ramona tire for TIRES ONLY. I'm not a big fan of shops making you do unnecessary repairs, especially in this economy. read more

This place is a rip off. I bought a set of tires with a 50,000 mile warranty. The tires only made it 35,000 miles. The store offered me a prorated credit on a new set of tires. I did not have a major issue, but it was one of those annoying things. It was my tire pressure sensor that I have been putting off for about two years because it didn't make the car run worse. Finally, I decided to take it in and have it looked at. I went in a few weeks ago and they changed out the tire sensor with a generic one instead of a manufacturer one. They told me that sometimes they work, and sometimes they do not let us know if they do not. I let the car go about 100 miles and the tire sensor was still faulty. I called to make an appointment and bring it back in. I met a man named Dillon and he worked his magic and actually got it to work! I had given up on this tire sensor problem and was just going to take the car home and not worry about it, but he actually told me how he fixed it. The only reason it's not five star is because even though I had an appointment I was still sitting there for a couple hours before they even brought my car in. So just know if you're going to make an appointment try to do it on a weekday. These guys are very very busy and I can see why, because even if you wait longer than you want to they do fix it right. The shop itself is in a very prime location. So there are shopping centers and places to eat nearby if you need to go kill a few hours. read more

Had some tires put on. Have used them for tires a few times and always a good experience for that. This time paid $130.00 for an alignment, not a complete one just the toe per my request. After all done the steering wheel is crooked. Went in perfectly straight and came out crooked. Went back a few days later for a redo and came out again crooked. A week later went back and after 50 minutes I get a call and get some stuff about the guy that does steering sensor recalibration is off today. Well, could have told me that before I came in but guys the sensor has nothing to do with this issue. Long story short I would not use them for wheel alignments as they just do not seem to be able to get it right. Go to Precision Alignment, Les Schwab or anywhere other than Ramona Tire for alignments. read more

I do not recommend this business. I found them to be extremely unprofessional. I made an online appointment for a minor "Tire Repair." (There is a small screw in one of my tires and it is repairable.) This is one of the services that their website indicates is offered at this location. When I showed up for my appointment the person who checked me in could not say when the repair could be taken care of. I think his exact words were "Meeehhhh???" (As in I have no idea and I cannot be bothered to be honest with you at this time.) If this was a repair that the shop does not want to undertake how about just be straight up with your customer? I heard the two guys behind the desk talking and apparently there was a technician free (obviously the free open appointment for 4:00) but he "didn't like" doing tire repairs for they were fine with just stringing me along. Went in for an oil change, and the next day discovered this: power steering fluid cap missing and next to it a foam insulation cover from the engine that was left wedged between the hood and coolant reservoir (good thing it was stuck there or I wouldn't have known it was missing). Now I have to order a new cap; won't be going back to this location. read more

I've never had an oil change anywhere else take longer than 40 minutes so I figured this wouldn't be an issue. My car waited outside for an hour before anyone touched it. Once I saw it had been moved I figured it wouldnt be too much longer. Finally got another update about my car a full hour and a half later asking if I wanted to do some work on my breaks since they had noticed the pads were getting worn. They told me it would be another 30 minutes if so and I declined already being there for over 2 hours at this point. They said they would finish it up and bring the keys back. I bought my car from CarMax with warranty (MaxCare). They use RepairPal service providers, which Ramona Tire is one. I scheduled an appointment, and got validation from RepairPal, as well as an acceptance of appointment from Ramona tire. I took the car in and they claimed they didn't know about an appointment... so I took the car in the next day. The problem was with the sunroof shade; it wouldn't open correctly, it started to open then 'crinkled up' like a broken part or something off the track.. They called me 5 hours later, saying they didn't want to work on it - that I should take it to the dealer. They reprogrammed the roof (?why??) and they think it's too complicated for them. O kay.. So I went to pick it up, and got a bill for $99.99 for 'diagnosis.' I said 'you're charging me for not working on my car?' "Yes we diagnosed it." Other shops I've used would NOT charge for NOT working on my car. This is very unprofessional and petty. I never do this bad review thing, but in my opinion we consumers deserve to know how these people operate. read more

So I ended up getting them from Americas Tire for less and also told about credit for the excessive wear from the manufacturer. Two of my friends recently went to Ramona. One for a brake check and the other air pressure check. Recently I visited Ramona Tire on Via Rio Temecula Rd in Temecula, CA for an evaluation a SLIGHT NOISE from my right front wheel. On examination the salesman reported that I had a wheel bearing failure that needed immediate repair, which I approved. He then informed me that I also needed a front suspension strut replacement which I occourse quickly approved. He went on to recommend that ALL four struts be replaced before I experienced more and very expensive problems which I, out of desperation and fear also approved. However in a later conversation with a Toyota Certified Mechanic, familiar with my suspension system because of a very recent personal inspection, I was informed that my purchase of repairs at RAMONA excluding the ONE STRUT, BEARINGS and ALIGNMENT, was totally UNNECESSARY and that as a 78 year old man, he was certain I had been hugely taken advantage of. Needless to say, I am very disappointed of the way my need for services was presented and the four thousand dollar plus price tag which I paid. Personally, this is the very first posted complaint I have ever made concerning automotive services but I would be extremely aware of any recommendations representatives of RAMONA might make and for sure SHOP AROUND FORT JOB QUOTES prior to committing to any service from RAMONA anywhere. read more
