Pretty chill, reasonably priced, good wine selection (including some natural wine options), small selection of bites and snacks (hummus was pretty great) and exactly what the neighborhood needed. Oh, and most importantly, they are dog-friendly. Service was great too.

A couple of Gen Xers walk into a Gen Z wine bar... sounds like the setup for a joke, but it was actually a delightful pre-pizza adventure. This cozy little neighborhood spot is where the cool kids sip natural wines and look effortlessly vibey. We, on the other hand, are the vintage version of cool. Natural wine doesn't exactly slap for us (we prefer our funk on vinyl, not in a glass), but thankfully they had other choices that hit the right notes. The ambiance? Warm, buzzy, and very TikTok-able--not that we're on TikTok. We stopped in before stuffing our faces with square pizza next door, and this was the perfect primer. Cheers to great wine, good vibes, and being gracefully out of our demographic. For a 5 star - a few more interesting wines that aren't natural wines would be awesome. It was also loud for us which might be an acoustics issue and it took a bit for us to be acknowledged and order.

No complaints. Ambiance was cute, good music, and good selection of wines. Service was excellent, bartender had great recommendations. If you're in the area I'd give it a try!

I've been twice for wine in the evenings and once for coffee during the day, and am officially a fan of both!! Such a great addition to the neighborhood. Great vibes, good natural lighting, and friendly staff. Especially convenient if you're waiting it out for a table for dinner at The Laundromat a few doors down. Definitely will be making a return (or many). Seems to stay pretty busy in the evenings but have somehow managed to find a seat immediately both visits

First time at Rampant Bottle and Bar! I can't complain about the service--the bartender was lovely. My orange wine was light and delicious. This is a small, low-key, sunny little wine bar, perfect for coming alone or with one or two friends. It's big enough not to feel cramped, yet small enough for close conversations. The one thing that threw me off was seeing them pour Trader Joe's chips into a bowl and serve them for $6, or taking olives straight from a plastic container in the fridge to put in a bowl--all in plain sight. Just felt a bit disappointing!

The wait on a Wednesday evening was kind of long but doesn't feel too bad when you're with good company. My friend and I waited about an hour around 6:30. The mushroom pizza was very flavorful. The corners and sides were crunchy, it was topped with lots of cheese and mushrooms. It was the perfect amount for 2 people. We also got the olive oil cake which came with a dollop of what I think is whipped cream cheese. It had a strong olive oil flavor, extremely moist and delicious. We were seated at the bar and although it was a little tight, it was nice to be able to look around the decorated area behind the bar. Tons of vinyls and quirky decor. Servers were also very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items!

There's a variety of bagels from plain, sesame, poppy, everything, egg everything, pumpernickel, pumpernickel everything, and others I'm forgetting. Each bagel is $3. Dips were $6-10 and it came in a pretty sizeable tub. I really liked the pumpernickel! It had the rougher texture of a classic bagel and the soft sweet taste in the dough. Paired it with the scallion dip yum. The dip consistency was perfect!

Last year, we signed up for our first combo tour: Alcatraz + Haight walking tour. Due to the 2018 fires, our SF trip was severely affected, including the cancellation of the Alcatraz portion. The walking tour was still made available at our own risk given the horrible air quality, but SF on Tap staff were very flexible, refunded our Alcatraz portion, and still conducted a great walking tour led by Lina. The history we learned, the beer knowledge, and the breweries we visited was fantastic. By the end of the tour, our little group was happy, tipsy, and chatty. It was a great first experience! So this year, we went back to San Francisco and did the Alcatraz + Fisherman's Wharf walking tour. Weather was fantastic this time, and the process for getting our tickets plus the actual day of activites was seamless. Prepare for a long day of walking if you do the combo tour. Dress comfortably and wear very comfy shoes. We did the Alcatraz audio tour, which helps you cover the main portions of the site, but there is definitely more to explore, so don't anticipate being able to do it all when you have to be back on shore with time to spare for lunch plus arriving for the 2pm beer tour. So....plan your morning accordingly. After Alcatraz, we had lunch at Boudin at Pier 39 then took a 5min Lyft ride to Ghirardelli Square for the start of our Fisherman's Wharf beer tour. Our guide was Dylan. Dylan did a great job and took us on quite an adventure through Fisherman's Wharf and Little Italy area. Although the beers on this particular tour were not my favorite (except for the barley wine and sour at the end!), I appreciated deepening my knowledge of the neighborhood and of course....brewing! I also love the intimate nature of the tour, like when we get to the breweries / pubs, and there is already dedicated space for us to sit, enjoy, learn, and drink! Dylan did his best to personalize our beer options to our tastes, so that was much appreciated. At the end of the tour, Dylan provided some fantastic dinner recommendations, since the tours end by 6pm. Trust me, you will be hungry! Both Lina and Dylan provided us with memorable craft beer experiences. My boyfriend and I look forward to going 3 for 3 and doing the SoMA walking tour next year! We are true SF on Tap fans!! You won't regret booking with SF on Tap, especially if you want a personalized craft beer experience and want to learn about the city's rich history and the details of brewing.

After our group's outing, we were on the hunt for a nearby spot to chill before lunch, so we came here! We came on Easter, so it wasn't as busy as other weekends. They have two floors, bar seating, plus outdoor seating. Being a bigger group, we chose to go upstairs. When it's not busy, it's quite spacious -- pool table, games, and a good amount of seating. You can order at the bar or use the self-service QR code. The staff helping us were all kind and courteous! Everyone got a variety of food to share and drinks to consume. Nachos, French Fries, Tater Tots, and Wings were among the items ordered. The Tater Tots were my personal fave. I love a new crispy outside, and the tots and fries were just that! Perfect food to snack on paired with drinks. Richmond Republic Draught House is a must if you live in or are in Richmond, enjoy bar bites, drinks, and catching games. They have a parklet, too. Find them off Clement St. with street parking and residential nearby. I'll be back!

We were at an odd time from our walk on the Golden Gate Bridge and lunch reservation so we came here. It wasn't a busy time around 11:00a and we occupied the upstairs section of the restaurant. We ordered some fries, tater tots, chicken wings and nachos. I tried all except the nachos because it had some spice in it. Everything was delicious! The fries were crispy and perfectly salted. The tots were a crispy, golden-brown nugget of potato perfection. We were also given a variety of sauces but I was fine with ranch. Yummy chicken wings too!
