I moved my business, CJ's Barber Shop, across the parking lot from Ramuntos on Nov 1st of 2010. And since being here I have ordered from them many times as I don't always have my lunch with me. I love the spicy buffalo pizza but the sausage and just plain cheese pizzas are really good too.

The food here was great! The smallest calzone is massive, def a good value. I like how they give you tons of dipping sauce. The meatball sub is also huge and pretty tasty. Ramunto's has the giant new york style slice that you crave if you've had good new york pizza, but the flavor profile just isn't quite there for a true new york pie and at the price they are charging. I'm thinking their best pizza is probably straight out of the oven, but I bought slices from the counter and I'm not sure how fresh it was as it didn't have that shiny hot cheese sheen that I expect - nor did it keep well as leftovers for the next day. I will surely be giving them another try due to close proximity but I will probably lean towards the calzones recommended by other yelpers or order a full pizza to get it made fresh. read more

My family LOVES the Sicilian with "the works!!!" Often, pizzas have crusts that are dry or flavorless--not Ramunto's! I recall one time I ended up getting a NY pizza, instead of the Sicilian I ordered, and the staff bent over backwards to make it up to me--I ended up getting my Sicilian "rushed," and they insisted I keep the other pizza, though they could have kept it and sold it by the piece. Every time I'm in there, I try to make a point of letting the staff know how much we love and appreciate their pizzas, as there's absolutely nothing comparable in the entire Burlington area! Sure, it is a bit pricey... but, worth every penny! I have always found the pizza and customer service to be top-notch! They also have a great delivery radius and, more importantly, have supported every community service project I have approached them about. Each time I ask for a donation of some sort( e.g., Girl Scouts, softball, Me & My Guy Dance for CY Mentoring) ...you name it, Ramountos has made a generous donation; that alone keeps me coming back! Looks are deceiving! Classic strip mall stop, in a good way. Stopped by with the family simply because they are a completely nut-free kitchen. Pizza was great. Light crust and great sauce. Cheese was a bit on the greasy side, but it's pizza, next time will order half cheese. Super friendly staff, very accommodating. read more

What a disappointing dining experience I had at Ramunto's and what an I don't give a shit attitude from management. Tonight, 2/11/13, I went in at just after 7 PM. The chicken parm sandwich on the menu looked good and I asked the stocky counter girl how is the chicken parm? She replied it was one of their top dishes. OK, I ordered one. When it was served to me right off the bat I knew something wasn't right. The fried chicken cutlet that the menu described wasn't there. Rather a micro waved piece of chicken that was unevenly cooked was served in its place. Instead of having a crispy outside coating the breading was soft, mushy and was easily displaced with each probe from my fork. I went up to the counter and asked where their frialator was. The kid that spoke to me said they didn't have one. I then asked the kid, who was nice enough, when a manager would be in. He said that there was a manger there and he would be over to speak with me. An Asian guy came over and listened to me. He then asked if I wanted a makeover. I asked him if it would be prepared as the menu described. He said it would be made the same way as the sandwich that was served to me. I feel that I was cheated, lied to and that the manger I spoke didn't give a shit about customer satisfaction or truthfulness in his menu. Stay away from this clip joint. Your dining needs will be better served at either Marco's or Junior's. read more

Yelp's 2 star label is "Meh. I've experienced better." That is exactly how I would describe my first order with Ramunto's. I was shocked at the prices but we had been driving all day so I tried it out. We purchased a single pizza with 4 toppings (their speciality pizzas only come in large) and a small side salad for delivery. After tipping the driver we had spent $35. I opened the pizza and was shocked to see a pretty average pizza. Great crust but same old toppings I would expect from Domino's. For that price I'd much rather get a high-quality ingredient pizza down at one of the farm-to-table restaurants in Burlington. So while the pizza was not a bad pizza, it's not worth the money and I won't be re-ordering only for that reason. read more

So to start off the food is extremely good I've now eaten there twice. First was a pizza slice and then this time the steak bomb sandwich. I'm not sure if this is just me being use to a different price for slices or what but $5 for one slice I think is a little much. Granted it is a little bigger then a normal slice but that's all it was.. There was no drink or side just a slice for $5. And today I got the steak bomb sandwich which is very good but yet again the price gets me. For me to get a sandwich and drink was $12 and yet again that seems steep to me for that. But o well I guess. The atmosphere is loud and so are the staff but very nice to you. But you can hear everything they say and I don't know if it was because it was just me there or what but some content was a little off for being a restaurant but honestly I don't care I'm a welder/plumber so I hear and say much worse during the day lol but as far as family yes but just be cautious. And seating is very limited with only I think 5 maybe 6 tables with four seats at each but very tight fit. But besides these things they do do takeout and delivery which is nice I think. So definitely a solid 4 stars for me but with some complaints. read more

This place is fairly new in town, but has easily surpassed any other pizza place in the area. The specialty pizzas are all great along with their calzones, sandwiches, and salads. It's a great place to order whole pizzas from or swing in for a few slices. Their prices may be a bit higher, but it's well worth the difference and you can tell that it's mostly due to fresh, quality ingredients. I'd also say the staff are great and seem to enjoy what they're doing. If you're in the Williston area, I would highly recommend checking it out. read more

Wings were delicious. Service was atrocious. They screwed up my order and gave me the wrong pizza and I called to let them know. Even though they offer delivery, they said I had to come back in. When I arrived, I was met with an attitude by the owner/manager as he grilled me about what I had ordered. He also ignored me when I complimented him on the wings. When they gave me the pizza, they did not offer a refund, although the difference was five dollars. I asked for the refund, which they gave, and for some reason I thanked the manager. He ignored me, so I said thank you again. I have no idea why I thanked him a third time, probably just to see if I would get a response, which I didn't. The pizza was very sought and undercooked, absolutely below average, although they advertise it as New York style. Worst service I have had in a while. read more

They're pizza is awesome, best around here (I think). But, the service first time around could be more accurate. I don't think I've ordered something without something being wrong (delivered to the wrong place, ordering buffalo chix but getting bbq chix instead). The redeeming characteristic is they're happy to fix it. I just make sure I'm not in a rush when I order from there. read more

Today was the first day I stopped here for lunch since December 2013 and I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the two slice lunch special today. I also noticed the place was not as busy at the lunch hour time compared to when I use to frequent it in 2012 and 2013. They use to make a great tasting pizza but today the pizza was missing something. I hope they can improve there product so I do not have to write it off. Awful...don't even bother. Waited over an hour for a Ceaser salad and turkey sandwich. Delivery was a bad idea...can't say my sandwich would have been any better in the store. One slice of turkey. Bacon bits and lettuce on half the sub? How do you only put lettuce on half and sandwich? They supposedly refunded our sandwich price on credit card...wait for bill to actually see. This is a pretty good pizza joint in Vermont. The slices are huge and so is the pizza. Though you will be paying about 25 dollars per pizza including tax and there's no way around that unless you have some promotion item. You can go there and order slices but then you're limited. The pizza is very good but it's preeeetty greasy. The toppings are plentiful. I frequent visit this establishment but twice they put me on hold for over 10 minutes ! Both these times I've just hung up. The southwest steak and cheese is the pizza I get most and it's very good. The crust is very good and is important to a good pizza. Ramuntos is good, it's not the best but its priced as if it was the best. read more

If I were a Valley Girl, I would say, "Gag me with a spoon!" Really, the sandwich I ordered was very poor and overpriced. My wife and daughter did not like their pizza. The staff was unfriendly. I felt like they threw the dishes on our table like the slabs of garbage they impressed us as. There was no sense that the appreciated our business, so we will not be coming back, despite the fact that we live down the street and frequently shop in the same plaza. read more

The staff went above and beyond for us. My kid spilled chocolate milk all over the floor and promptly launched a crying fit over the milk. The staff heard the cup hit the floor and the tantrum. They brought out another chocolate milk and a cupcake for each kid and mopped up the spill. Super friendly and understanding when I was "that parent." read more

We live in Williston, not far from this restaurant. And we were excited when they opened many years ago. Their pizza USED TO BE EXCELLENT and so was their friendly service. Over the past year, we have seen this place significantly decline. Tried to order a pizza for delivery (our house is about 3 miles away) recently and was told it would be "well over an hour". When asked for clarification the person on the phone said she didn't know. She put me on with the owner who indicated again that it would be "well over an hour". What does that mean? Two hours? Three hours? When pressed, he said two hours. TWO HOURS to get a pizza delivered three miles away???!!!! No thanks. The pizzas we've ordered in the past year have lacked sauce and cheese and just haven't been good. We've complained to the owner, but he really doesn't seem to care about the wait or the diminished quality of his product. They are obviously busy enough that he doesn't care about his customers- there's always another one to take our place. Last night we called to pick up a pizza on our way home from work. 5:30 on a Thursday night and we are told it won't be ready for an hour. An hour? To pick it up?!!! We ordered extra cheese on it, learning that they skimp on cheese now. When we picked up the pizza, it was cold (obviously it was ready in less than an hour and sat there waiting, had no sauce, and had barely enough cheese to qualify as a pizza, much less the extra cheese we were requesting. It's just very disappointing, that a place that used to be good and charges a hefty price for their pizza, is now going to be our last choice because the quality AND service and care from the owner are seriously lacking! read more
