I got the Vermexico burrito and it was excellent. The ingredients were quality and well dispersed throughout the burrito. Very casual spot that is in partially a bike shop and partially a restaurant but it is not intimidating if biking is not your thing as it isn't mine! There are a few bar seats and a fair amount of tables. We didn't have drinks at lunch but they offer local beers. Our food was ready quickly and service was friendly. Also felt reasonably priced. First experience here was good - small portions but good quality and reasonable prices. Second experience will be my last. Ordered cheeseburger medium rare and chicken tenders. Drove all the way home to find the order was wrong - was given tuna instead of tenders. Not sure how this happened as the place was totally empty. Everything , we waited 35 min to get our food after it was ordered. We ordered the chicken nachos that they were known for. I didn't know you could mess up nachos so bad. They were burnt. Most of the chips were black and burnt. The cheese was dry as a bone . They were so horrible. read more

This was the worst meal I can remember in a long time. We waited over an hour for our meal to be served. I was served the wrong dish, but was so hungry I didn't care anymore. The falafel was overcooked, almost burnt, with virtually no sauce. It was served over raw kale with no dressing; if you've ever had raw kale, you know it is bitter without any dressing. My wife and I had the T-bowls which were delicious, perfectly cooked big chunk of tuna with some yummy bulgur and veggies. My son had a great burrito and they accommodated my picky daughter with plain pasta with cheese and butter. And we had a big thing of nachos that were also yummy and huge, but hard to go wrong with nachos! The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere is super chill with quirky bike sculptures and funny signs. Easy seating outside on picnic tables and a few tables inside. Tucked into a bike shop that has some great gear, posters, and clothes. All around a good experience and place we'll probably head back to! read more

Very unique! Walking into Ranch camp you I immediately got the impression the owner was fulfilling a life long dream...to build a bike shop/art exhibit/bar/restaurant. It works! The whole place is set up really well, the bike shop is apartment of the restaurant, but not literally to where you feel like you are in a bike shop. It's more like it adds to the decor or experience. Art for sale decorates the walls and it's all local and really cool. The bar and restaurant though was one of my groups 2 favorite spots in Stowe. The rotating beer on draft is great! The service was the FRIENDLIEST we had in Stowe. The food though...OMG the food is good. I loved the Vermexican burrito. Flavors were awesome and went so well together. Everything tasted and looked very fresh. The prices were a little high, but I want to assume it is because you are paying for fresh and quality food. read more

Interesting concept..... Bike shop, bar, restaurant. The bike (bicycle) part is cool, even though I don't ride a bike much. They have all different styles and gear available. The bar area is kind of small but comfortable. The restaurant is self order and they'll bring it to your table. They have outdoor seating as well, overlooking Mountain Road. The menu is good, a little for everyone, although I think in all the times I've been there, I've only had the different burritos. They are all tasty and filling. They have plenty of vegetarian options, but not many vegan dishes. My wife's favorite is the portobello mushroom dish, but they're typically out of the ingredients, so she'll usually call ahead to be sure she can get one. The bar has a decent selection of beer. Overall the place is on the smaller side and can fill up on busy weekends, so get there early if you want to get a table for dinner. I'd give them 4.5 stars. read more

The service was friendly and the outdoor seating area was nice! For those reasons I'd probably go back and give it another shot, and order different menu items. The good thing about the vegan nachos was that the fresh jalapeño and onion plus the black beans gave them some good flavor along with the guacamole. However, the ratio of all these to chips was tiny. So many chips, so few toppings. The vegan cheese was watery/oily and didn't stick to the chips, instead collecting at the bottom of the box. And there was no vegan sour cream, so they just left it off. I don't understand why these were a dollar more than the regular nachos. I also got the sticky balls and was expecting crispy Brussels sprouts with a maple-lemongrass type glaze. Instead, they came swimming (literally - in a pool of liquid) in what tasted mostly like salty soy sauce. Any maple flavor that existed was covered up unfortunately. Next time, I would probably get a burrito. Service was great, and the location and ambiance is rad. Worth another shot I think. The food just didn't deliver this time. read more

Fun Place! Nice atmosphere, unique patio dining. We were not biking but this places sounded good so dropped in for beer and light food. Great beer selection, we had Lawson's Sip of Sunshine and the Alchemist IPA and both were excellent. The falafel dish was a bit lacking in seasoning, the Brussel sprouts were very good, and the sweet potato fries were good but just ordinary fries. I love so much about this place- hope the step up their game just a bit on food flavor. Visiting Vermont my husband and I first came to the shop to see about a guided tour on fat bikes we'd read about on their website. Turns out that was just during winter and also required pre-booking. They hooked us up with some nice hardtail mountain bikes instead and a map. We rode some really nice single track trails and came back to the shop for beer and food. What's not to like? Awkward ordering and decent food. I can't tell if it is a symptom of COVID, but it seems like a confused place. If it wasn't COVID times, I would give this place three stars. I sort of understand everywhere is understaffed and doing the best they can, but this was a lukewarm experience. I get that this is half restaurant, half bike shop. That makes sense. But the restaurant has the look of a restaurant but not the function of one. For example, the line for ordering is at the bar, but the bartender is also tending bar, and it takes a while to get your order in. If you don't want beer, you get your own soda from a fridge, but my soda wasn't cold, so I had to find a waitstaff person to get a cup of ice. So just to get a cup of ice, I had to catch the person bussing tables. It seemed like Home Depot: no one is ever around when you actually need help. The food was so-so. I got a burger that was pretty dry. The fries weren't that fresh. Kiki got a burrito, which seemed pretty good. The basic burrito has a misleading name, Baller on a Budget. It kind of makes you feel poor. They should just rename it Baller because it's pretty big and good and not necessarily budget friendly. It's just the cheapest one. The vegan nachos were probably the highlight, but like I mentioned before if you are sharing, there's no one around to help you with getting plates and they are kind of messy, so good luck. read more
