From the first call, Ed the owner worked around my availability and made the entire process super easy and fast. The installation technician was knowledgeable and efficient, and Ed walked me through the owner's instructions carefully. With that said, I think what really sets Ed's company apart is his obvious pride and care for his business and customers, as clearly evidenced by his prompt and excellent after-service. I felt a bit bad about asking him all sorts of questions years after the job was done but he always responded quickly, enthusiastically, and professionally. I had a few top rated service providers come by for quotes but I'm sure that I made the best decision to go with Ed.

Great product, install team but the way our main contact treated us afterward was unacceptable…read more I rarely take the time to post reviews because I understand how this may impact a business but I felt it was important to provide an honest overview of both the positive and negative aspects of our experience. The water softener itself seems to be working well and the technicians who handled the installation were professional, efficient and pleasant to work with. That initial phase of the service was excellent. Unfortunately, our experience with Eduardo, our main point of contact for ongoing support, was very disappointing. Later that night after the installation, we noticed a puddle of water coming from a leak on a washer line adjacent to where the garage sink was removed and the water softener was installed. We messaged Eduardo that evening and he arrived the following morning, which we appreciated. During the visit, he claimed the leak was unrelated to their work, but offered to send a technician to assist as a favor. Eduardo stated that because it was a minor leak, someone would come out the following week or whenever a technician was available. However, security footage later confirmed that the installer had shifted our washing machine while removing the sink to place the water softener and salt container, which likely caused the issue. As soon as I got home, I called to ask that a technician be sent out as soon as possible because no one wants a leak sitting in their garage even if it's not an "emergency". He agreed to have one of his technicians out the next day between 8-9am. The following day, no technician showed up and it was just Eduardo who arrived 10 minutes late. He looked at the leak and then proceeded to lecture me about "raising my voice" on our call the day before telling me I didn't need to escalate for a quick fix and that he'd have sent someone immediately if it were a "real emergency". I was honestly in shock. I was direct because I wanted the issue addressed sooner. I was in no way being disrespectful and I have the phone conversation as well as the in-person interaction the next day on record to back that up. Being reprimanded by a service provider for raising a legitimate concern about a leak coming from the installation is inappropriate, especially after paying a premium price for the service. I apologized in the moment because I was shocked and caught off guard, but afterwards I was upset enough that I had my wife finish the conversation. While I appreciate the quality work of the installation team, Eduardo's unprofessional handling of the situation makes me hesitate to recommend this business.

The installation includes a 1-year service warranty, which has proven very helpful. Side note, if you add a mineral cartridge to your RO system and that RO system supplies an existing copper water/ice line to a refrigerator, be sure to have the ice line replaced with polyethylene tubing. If not, the minerals will degrade the copper ice line, resulting in leaks. Many thanks to José for the super job he did capping our old copper ice line and replacing it with under cabinet-mounted polyethylene tubing--works great, can't see the tubing, no leaks! Many thanks to Niko for resolving a problem we had with melted potassium in the reservoir tank for our softening system. Niko was very patient as he explained the problem and showed me step-by-step how to fix the issue myself if it happens again. He also tested the water until the results confirmed that the problem was resolved. Many thanks to Angel for taking service calls cheerfully and with kindness and efficiency. I really appreciate the great service my family has received from De Anza Water Conditioning. I would hire them again without reservation.

Our Kinetico system was effecting a major water leak (600 gal over ~28 hours), and I tried reaching them at different numbers after hours; a representative contacted me from each of those lines and set up an appointment the following day, 8a-12p window. Our technician Sonny Vigil arrived at 9AM, very professional and respectful. He explained his triage per step, replaced parts and fixed everything up without hassle. Shared tips about the filtration system and general troubleshooting. He additionally performed a full system checkup and replaced our filters as part of the same service visit; we would've otherwise run out of potable water shortly. Serviced everything efficiently and effectively. I had originally planned to get to work in the afternoon, but everything was resolved and ready to go by 10:30AM.

After the technician completed the filter service, my water filtration system was not working properly. I contacted the owner expecting them to stand behind their work and help troubleshoot the issue. Instead, without performing an official inspection of the system, I was quickly told that the resin likely needed to be replaced and was quoted approximately $500 for another service visit. My system is only about 5-6 years old, so I was concerned that such an expensive repair was being recommended without properly diagnosing the problem first. We later discovered on our own that the actual issue was that the filtration system settings had not been set correctly after the technicians changed the filters. Once the settings were corrected, the system worked. My biggest concern is the lack of communication and proper troubleshooting. Before recommending a customer spend another $500, especially immediately after your technicians serviced the system, I would expect the company to first verify that the work was completed correctly and that the system settings were properly configured. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Apparently, Robert's time is far more valuable than mine. Who knew?…read moreI rearranged my schedule, turned down other plans, and made myself available for a scheduled estimate with Robert from Life Source Water Systems to discuss installing a whole-house water filtration system. I did my part. I was home, ready, and waiting. And waiting. And waiting. An hour and a half later, I was still waiting. No knock on the door. No phone call. No text message. No carrier pigeon. Nothing. Now, I completely understand that things happen. Jobs run long. Traffic exists. Emergencies come up. Life doesn't always go according to plan. But common courtesy is still free. A quick 30-second phone call saying, "I'm running late," would have been appreciated. A text saying, "I can't make it today," would have been even better. Instead, the message I received was loud and clear: my time wasn't important enough to warrant even the smallest amount of communication. It's always interesting when businesses expect potential customers to respect their schedules while showing absolutely no respect for the schedules of the people they're hoping will spend money with them. Needless to say, if this is the level of communication before they've earned my business, I can only imagine what customer service would look like afterward. Thanks for the estimate, Robert. Oh wait...
