I called Meir to come take a look at my leaking fill valve and worn out shut-off valve. He came within an hour and half and replaced fill valve and pointed out that the shut-off valve simply needed a new washer. Had our basement sump pump fail. Was referred to Meir by our general handyman. Within 1 hour of my original text myself, I was on the phone with Meir explaining what happened. He came out a few hours later to view the problem and gave me a rundown. Unfortunately the more he uncovered about the original pump and plumbing, the more things didn't look right. In no way was this a scam to get more work, he honestly just wanted to do things the right way that won't need repairing again. Ultimately, the sump basin needed to be repaired, and the piping modified to fit. Overall, the replacement and repair was done right, and in an good timeframe. Took half an hour to make it over. Most other places said a couple of days and such. Those that answered said that at least. Some were answering machines. He worked quickly and did a number of things that were above and beyond. He cut the price too because we said he got good press on Yelp. Well, he's got some more good press now.
