This is my fiancés usual spot. They love my girls and always spoil them with donut holes! Their donuts are always so fresh and a great selection. Clean area and 4-5 booths to sit and enjoy. Love all the Christmas decorations. The staff is great with three working the weekend so it moves fast. I got the whip cream and strawberry filled this time and the cream was perfect and not overly sweet.

‼ WARNING ‼ DO NOT EAT AT RANCHO CORDOVA DONUTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR FAMILY'S HEALTH Before you brush this off, go look at Rancho Cordova Donuts' most recent health inspection. It specifically cites their negligence when it comes to food safety -- including their ham and cheese croissants. This is documented and public record. You can review it yourself here: https://inspections.myhealthdepartment.com/sacramento/inspection/?inspectionID=C2873A6A-27BE-4310-97F3-0336E0658D6F My son became sick with food poisoning after eating a ham and cheese croissant with moldy ham from Rancho Cordova Donuts -- yes, moldy ham. He had to be taken to the doctor because of this. This wasn't an isolated accident -- it was a direct result of their negligent food handling and total disregard for customer safety. After this incident, we went back to them expecting at least an apology. What did they do? They offered to refund $29.35 and didn't even say "I'm sorry." And again -- this is not speculation. Their last health inspection specifically pointed out negligence around food safety, including improper storage and handling of ham and cheese croissants -- exactly the item that made my son sick. This is beyond disappointing. This is dangerous. If they can't keep bread and ham safe to eat -- something you serve every day -- then how can anyone trust them with any food? Parents, friends, and neighbors -- stay far away from this place. Your health is NOT worth their incompetence, and your family shouldn't be a test subject for their lack of standards. They need to fix their kitchen. Fix their food safety. And start caring about their customers -- not just offering refunds after someone gets sick.

I've always passed this place but never tried it. I was craving donuts this morning and decided to try their donuts. Let me tell you, this place gets packed so fast. I can see why. Their donuts are very delicious and the prices are great. The shop is clean and the customer service is good.

I was visiting Sacramento and I pulled up best cinnamon rolls near me. And this is where it took me. The other reviews that they were amazing so their ham and cheese and egg croissant smells really delicious. Also their other donuts look pretty good. I'm pretty particular about Apple fritters but these look amazing.

This is my two cents on the quality quantity of Rancho Cordova donuts It was delivered in a very timely manner by Uber Eats . I got an apple fritter ,French cruller, old-fashioned donut, a dozen donut holes and two Vietnamese iced coffee... I ordered all this on a whim at 5:30 in the morning on a Sunday morning .. It was a surprising, outstanding delicious meal .. My apple fritter was still warm, fell apart in my hands and had chunks of apple in it was I euphoric. .. The French cruller and old-fashioned donut was equally still warm in the middle so delicious . Everything arrived still warm and fresh and delicious .. It was truly the best I have had in a long blue moon . The Vietnamese coffee was absolutely delicious

Raised ones are my favorite but the cake donuts were the first to go!

This is a luxury. $20/large sandwich. Life isn't cheap. Things like this is a treat. So I took my son out to lunch. I asked to change the turkey for ham on a club sandwich, which already has ham, and is the cheaper meat.... and was told I would have to build the sandwich from scratch for $2 more. I wasn't asking for more meat, I wasn't asking to ADD meat, I was asking to simply change the more expensive meat for the cheaper lunch meat. Cashier standoffish, definitely didn't care about customer service, just a flat No build it yourself. Ok. No ty. Again, already a $20 sandwich. No thank you. When the sandwiches were ready, after at least 5 peoplewho came in behind us, another girl called out my name, but incorrect, no big deal. I stated mine in question form and she looked at me, rolled her eyes, and handed it to the cashier who handed it to me. I dont know what it was today, but even my child said it. He said everyone working was just "hella rude" and made him uncomfortable to want to return. Honestly, me too. Sandwiches, amazing. Everytime. Service? I could pass on the attitude. No accommodation or explanation to customers for a request, only an uncharge? Again, I could pass on that. The last two beat out the first everyday. The owner used to be in so often, all the workers were so nice, it was like the Dutch Bros of sandwich shops Not worth it for the price.

This specific Sandwich Spot location was one of my original favorite sandwich shops of all time…read more My friend Ashley and I used to always come here and split a Cougar on Dutch Crunch, sub pastrami for turkey. Feeling nostalgic, I recently decided to have lunch here. I asked for a Cougar with pastrami instead of turkey. "You want a number 26?" (Looks at menu) "Yes, with pastrami instead of turkey." "Number 26, right?" When I had walked in, I saw two girls cleaning. One of them had stopped to take my order. After taking my order, she continued to clean for exactly ten minutes before stopping, washing her hands, and beginning to prepare my sandwich. (I'm positive that it was exactly ten minutes before she even *started* to make my sandwich, because I get a text message the minute my card is charged, so it's easy to just look at the text, and see how much time has elapsed.) As she finished making my sandwich, another guest came in. After she placed her order, the second girl washed her hands, and both girls made her sandwich together. While I had waited nearly fifteen minutes for my sandwich, this girl waited for less than two. It was so odd. As I ate my sandwich, both girls behind the counter stared at me so hard that I seriously wondered if they had done something funky to my sandwich. So, all of that was very strange. But the sandwich was good. None of the ingredients were missing. The veggies were all in ridiculously tiny quantities in comparison to the super smearing of sauce, but, it was all there, and it tasted good. When it comes to sandwiches, in terms of the meat, you get what you pay for. Sandwich Spot uses cheaper meat than some fancier delis do, but they also use a larger quantity of it. So, if you would rather have a large amount of okay pastrami versus a medium amount of great pastrami, then, Sandwich Spot is the spot for you. If you're really into premium lunch meat, though, this isn't it. The pastrami tasted like it could have come from the fridge section at Winco or Walmart. Overall, for a cheaper/lower-end sandwich place, Sandwich Spot is still one of my favorites. I love their menu, and haven't found a sandwich quite like the Cougar anywhere else.

I hadn't been here in nearly 10 years and was looking forward to a nostalgic lunch, but…read moreunfortunately, this visit was a major letdown. I ordered the Barracuda, and my wife got the General Lee. Both sandwiches were served on Dutch crunch rolls that were so hard, they were nearly inedible -- my wife couldn't even finish hers because the bread hurt her mouth. Mine left the roof of my mouth sore, but I pushed through since it wasn't exactly a cheap meal. The fillings didn't help either -- the meat tasted like it had been sitting for a while especially the roast beef, and the vegetables were wilted and lifeless. The macaroni salad tasted identical to the store-bought Reser's brand, with that unmistakable aftertaste, which was disappointing. Overall, nothing felt fresh. Everything had the vibe of being prepped a day or two ago and just left to sit. I truly wish we had just gone to the grocery store instead. Sadly, this place didn't live up to the memories, and I won't be returning. Lesson learned.

I got one of my normal dishes called Boone, which is chicken with rice noodle vermicelli, cucumbers, pickled daikon, mint, carrot, lettuce and a vinaigrette, type of fish sauce . This one came with a small egg roll, which was super crispy, perfectly prepared and a wonderful addition. I was sad to see that there were no peanuts on top because I kind of think that helps make the dish. The noodles were cooked perfectly very delicious the lettuce mint cucumbers were fresh. The chicken was lean chicken breast large chunks. The only thing holding me back from giving it a five star was the flavor of the chicken wasn't quite there for me and of course I needed to peanuts. And I didn't like being served in a paper box that was getting soggy from the fish sauce, especially when I took it home and it really got soggy. But on the whole, it's a fantastic place to get lunch and the price is right. The service was delightful. The lady was very accommodating that took my order and I hope this food court really thrives.
