The short ribs are so delicious that my son polished them off without me getting the chance to take a picture! The combo comes with rice and a salad with a delicious fish sauce based dressing. We have been here multiple times and the staff has always been welcoming and great at answering any questions about allergies! Located in the SF Market, there are plenty of tables available and plenty of parking too! The tables are clean and there is also a handwashing station.

Stopped by for a Banh Mi for lunch, while in the area for a training. This restaurant is located inside the SF Supermarket Food Hall. There are maybe 8 total food stalls in the Food Hall to choose from, all different types of Asian food. The lady helping was very nice and helpful with questions. Banh Minsandeiches came out nice and hot filled with meat and veggies. The sandwich itself does not depict well in the menu pictured. The picture on the menu doesn't not even show all the colorful pickled veggies inside of a traditional Vietnamese sandwich. Tables are first come first serve as it is a food hall. The lady brought out all of our dishes to us and served us water. It is clean in there. Great spot.

This is one of the places in the new "SF supermarket" Asian mall food court on sunrise Boulevard, in the old Rancho Sam's Club. I came in around 11:30 AM on a Saturday morning, and the place wasn't that busy. I was helped right away, and the lady was friendly. It is a relatively small menu. I hope that they do add a few more items. I decided to go for the roast chicken banh mi, no jalapeños. It looked like there were only two people working, the lady working in the kitchen, and the lady working the "front of house", was helping her when she wasn't helping customers. It still took me about 15 minutes to get my food. When she did bring me my sandwich, she did apologize for the time. I could see that there were other people waiting as well. The sandwich itself was a home run. A good sized portion of juicy, tender chicken, and the veggies were very fresh. The bread was wonderfully crusty. An excellent, traditional banh mi. For this big sandwich, and a 12 ounce soda with tax, I was out the door under 10 bucks. I hope they "flesh out" the menu a little bit more, and maybe hire another person to help with the service times. The quality and the price of the food were absolutely fantastic. I want to come back. Thank you.

We came in during the lunch hour and were greeted with warm and friendly service. The grilled pork ribs were absolutely fantastic, incredibly flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The overall experience was wonderful and we left feeling very satisfied.

Here is another woman owned business to try during Women's History month. This is located in a food court in the newly opened Vietnamese Market SF. You may order at the counter or on a tablet. The people who work here are so nice and helpful. You order and get a number and wait for your text to come get it. I have ordered the beef dip and loved it, the dipping sauce is flavorful. The bread is fresh and crunchy. The meat is tender and delicious too with some onions. They add cilantro but I always take it off and give to people who like that. There are some communal tables to sit at if you want to dine in but you bus the tables yourself.

Honestly, this pho was way better than a lot of places that I had, I like their noodles a lot more. Plus there to go bowl wasn't that silly plastic container that People People always give. The service was A1 and I liked how it was located in the food court with a lot of options.

My mom and I visited the Saigon Street Food Court. There is currently 5 restaurants and we tried something from each one. From Stick and Roll we tried the bbq beef sandwich and it was amazing. The meat was fresh and so flavorful. The bread was perfect, with the right amount of chewy and crunchy. The owner was the nicest lady I've ever met. She came to the table and talked to us after we raved about the sandwich. We will definitely be back because the service was excellent and so was the food.

My favorite place at the new SF food court in Rancho Cordova. The food is always good, fresh and fast. The ladies that work there are extremely friendly. Get the grilled pork over noodles.

First, I just want to say that the owner and servers were so kind and welcoming. Wendy, who took my order, has amazing customer service - she was so thoughtful and even gave great recommendations. I tried the Crispy Tofu, Chicken Roti Croissant, and Vietnamese Coffee, and everything was fresh and absolutely delicious! This is our second visit, and we keep coming back because the food is simply outstanding. Every time they see us, there's always such a positive vibe that leaves me smiling, and I can tell it makes them smile too! They're truly amazing!

Pretty decent little place. The sandwich was very meat forward as I could have preferred a bit more picked toppings on the sandwich, but still pretty good overall. The fried tofu was a solid fried tofu. Lady taking order was very friendly as well.

Came in during lunch hour. Stood around for a confused few minutes waiting for someone from the back to come take orders and tryna see if the tablet in front allows self ordering. Turns out they ran out of tofu so the gal working the front had to run to SF to buy more tofu, which also left the front unattended. I ordered the bbq sandwich and fries which took 20 mins to receive. Meat proportions in the sandwich was good, but there was almost no veggies. Overall the sandwich was tasty, but on the salty side. The whole ordering and waiting situation felt disorganized to me as i didn't receive a receipt or was not given an order number. I felt like we were relying on the girl working the front to remember our faces and orders. Hopefully they get it together soon so working folks can feel like they can stop by here for a quick lunch break. Would go back to try the rice plates when I'm not in lunch break. The girl in front was friendly.

Solid place to get banh mi and Vietnamese coffee at a great price! Been here a few times with my team, service has gotten a lot better and faster.

This takes me to their Folsom location which opened its doors back in late-2021. Situated in a decent sized outdoor strip mall with a mix of boutiques and retail business, this Huong Lan is located directly off of East Bidwell St and adjacent to Wales Dr. Parking is fairly easy to find on any given day and they have very reasonable hours of operation being open weekdays from 10am-9pm and weekends from 10am-8pm. Since I live in the suburbs, this location is actually easier for me and is very convenient for those that live in Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Orangevale, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, and other neighboring communities. One really unique thing about this location is that they have a drive-thru for those that don't wish to exit their vehicles. However, if you're not in a rush, I do recommend dining inside as the interior dining area is quite open, inviting, and spacious. And one really positive thing about this location is that they are not nearly as busy as their other locations. More often than not, I am waiting in line (sometimes up to 30 minutes) just to place an order at the South Sacramento location. I also noticed how much of a variety this location offers including 15 different Bánh Mì variations, Phở, noodle soups, Vermicelli bows, rice plates, and a nice assortment of appetizers. They also carry several types of pearl teas, milk teas, and boba drinks. At this location, I literally entered the restaurant, walked up to the front counter, and placed my order. I ended up coming here during the afternoon on Saturday 5/30/2026 at around 2:00pm. My Bánh Mì sandwich of choice was their B7 "Grilled Pork" aka "Bánh Mì Thịt Nướng" and was priced at $9.25 (after tax). After making my payment, I sat down and within 5 minutes, my sandwich was brought out to me. I am going to be honest with everything, the bread was soft while the veggies (cilantro, cucumber, pickled carrots, and daikon) were all laid out very proportionally. But what this Bánh Mì was seriously lacking was the grilled pork! I love a good Bánh Mì sandwich but just ONE strip of pork? C'mon guys, I've been to your other locations and they have been very generous with the proteins. However, everything tasted great and I will still give this place an above average rating based on the service, location, ambiance, quality/freshness of food, and overall experience. I also wanted to add that the inside was very clean and sanitary while the public restroom was spotless. When you factor in a very spacious interior with a convenient drive-thru at the exterior and a pleasant dining experience in a quiet part of town, I am giving the Folsom "Huong Lan" location a respectable and above average four stars.

TL;DR: Do NOT order anything extra. They'll charge you for it without telling you and only slip it onto the check after the fact. And the owners are possibly racist, homophobic, or both - based on what her husband screamed at me on my way out for no reason at all: "We don't need people like you here." I walked in on a Saturday night, two hours before closing. Not busy, no line. I got seated right away - well, the waitress (who I later found out was the owner) pointed at a booth. The booth was dirty. Crumbs, spilled fish sauce, half-eaten strands of vermicelli all over the table. I asked the owner if she could wipe it down. She said "Oh wow, sorry," then delivered drinks to a few other tables and left me at the dirty table for another five minutes before coming back to clean it. There were plenty of empty, clean booths - it was NOT busy. Any one of them would've been fine. The menus were dirty and sticky too. I let it go, figured I'd just wash my hands after ordering. We ordered the crispy pork sausage spring rolls, one order of pork egg rolls ($12, per the menu), two Thai teas, and two lemongrass vermicelli. Then I went to the restroom - toilet paper all over the floor, sink area filthy. The waiter brought out two orders of egg rolls - he'd misheard me and didn't even know the price - but he owned it and took the extra back. No harm there. The food was a letdown. The lemongrass vermicelli was a mountain of noodles, an OK amount of bland chicken, and barely any vegetables. No texture, no flavor, no spice. This was not Vietnamese cooking - it was lazy. I wouldn't order it again. So I tried to salvage it and asked for some extra veggies to fix the texture. Here's the problem. The dish already comes with salad mix - it says so on their own menu. Nobody told me extra veggies would cost anything. We got the bill, it wasn't on there, and then the waitress came back, said "I'm just going to update the check real quick," and added a $2.50 "extra veggies" charge after the fact. Now look at their menu (photo attached). They have a whole "Additional Add-ons" section, and the ONLY veggie add-on listed is garnish/beansprouts at $0.50 to $1 - not $2.50. So they charged me up to five times the only veggie price they actually print, for something they never disclosed. And on the receipt it's typed in lowercase as "extra veggie" while every real menu item is capitalized - you can tell it was punched in by hand. I asked the waiter to take it off since nobody told me it'd be a charge. He refused. I asked to talk up front so I wouldn't bother other tables, and asked for a manager - out came the owner, the same woman who'd sat me at the filthy booth. I asked her to remove the $2.50. She refused, said people ask for extras all day so they have to charge, and that she considered this a "side salad" - even though there's no side salad at that price on the menu. I said, "That's fine, but you have to disclose it first." She told me it was on the menu. It is not (see the photo). I told her no restaurant in Little Saigon charges for a few extra veggies without telling you up front. She refused again. I paid, told her I'd leave a bad review and no tip and wouldn't be back - all over $2.50 she could've just removed. She asked what the review would even be about. I listed it: the dirty table, dirty menus, dirty bathroom, the undisclosed charge, and her refusal to reason with a customer making a fair point. She went quiet. As I walked back to grab my things, she kept talking, but the music was so loud I genuinely couldn't hear her, so I said "Sorry, I can't hear you over the music." That's when her husband SCREAMED across the entire restaurant: "GET OUT RIGHT NOW!" I said, "I'm already leaving, and I won't be back." And he screamed, "WE DON'T NEED PEOPLE LIKE YOU HERE!" People like me? I was respectful and calm the whole time. I never cursed, never raised my voice, I just pointed out facts. So what did he mean? Because I pushed back on an undisclosed charge? Because my partner and I are LGBTQ+ and sat next to each other? Because I'm Black? I have no idea why he said it, but if you're Black or LGBTQ, I'd think twice... Either way, screaming that across a full dining room, at a customer who simply said he wouldn't return, is unhinged. No competent owner does that. Here's the kicker: Pho Momma's 2025 Michelin recognition is a Bib Gourmand - which is specifically the award for good value. A restaurant honored for value nickel-and-dimed me $2.50 for veggies they never disclosed, then had its owner scream me out the door. Is that what Michelin recognition looks like? Absolutely not. If you're Black or LGBTQ, I'd genuinely reconsider eating here and save yourself the possible discrimination. Go to Pho Xe Lua, Pho Saigon, or honestly any other pho spot in town.
