The savory flavor of the meatballs and the sweetness of the grilled shrimp were incredible. My mother ordered the short ribs and loved every bite. Naturally, I snuck a taste, and I have to agree they were delicious. Stick & Roll is one of the counter vendors at the food court of SF Supermarket. Dining is a large common area with dozens of tables. Ordering takes place at the register or using their QR code. Their customer service was fantastic. Check this place out as I was shopping at SF market and I was excited to see the new Saigon Street food court had opened with lots of tasty looking offerings. I got one of my normal dishes called Boone, which is chicken with rice noodle vermicelli, cucumbers, pickled daikon, mint, carrot, lettuce and a vinaigrette, type of fish sauce . This one came with a small egg roll, which was super crispy, perfectly prepared and a wonderful addition. I was sad to see that there were no peanuts on top because I kind of think that helps make the dish. The noodles were cooked perfectly very delicious the lettuce mint cucumbers were fresh. The chicken was lean chicken breast large chunks. The only thing holding me back from giving it a five star was the flavor of the chicken wasn't quite there for me and of course I needed to peanuts. And I didn't like being served in a paper box that was getting soggy from the fish sauce, especially when I took it home and it really got soggy. But on the whole, it's a fantastic place to get lunch and the price is right. The service was delightful. The lady was very accommodating that took my order and I hope this food court really thrives. I had the Korean style short ribs. You would have no idea that this came from a food court. Better than Korean short ribs I've had at sit down Korean restaurants and for a much cheaper price. Rice was perfectly cooked. They gave an ample amount of side veggies (both pickled and regular). The meat itself was tender and flavorful and not overly fatty. There are maybe 8 total food stalls in the Food Hall to choose from, all different types of Asian food. The lady helping was very nice and helpful with questions. Banh Minsandeiches came out nice and hot filled with meat and veggies. The sandwich itself does not depict well in the menu pictured. The picture on the menu doesn't not even show all the colorful pickled veggies inside of a traditional Vietnamese sandwich. Tables are first come first serve as it is a food hall. This is one of the places in the new "SF supermarket" Asian mall food court on sunrise Boulevard, in the old Rancho Sam's Club. I came in around 11:30 AM on a Saturday morning, and the place wasn't that busy. I was helped right away, and the lady was friendly. It is a relatively small menu. I hope that they do add a few more items. I decided to go for the roast chicken banh mi, no jalapeños. It looked like there were only two people working, the lady working in the kitchen, and the lady working the "front of house", was helping her when she wasn't helping customers. It still took me about 15 minutes to get my food. When she did bring me my sandwich, she did apologize for the time. I could see that there were other people waiting as well. The sandwich itself was a home run. A good sized portion of juicy, tender chicken, and the veggies were very fresh. The bread was wonderfully crusty. An excellent, traditional banh mi. For this big sandwich, and a 12 ounce soda with tax, I was out the door under 10 bucks. Here is another woman owned business to try during Women's History month. This is located in a food court in the newly opened Vietnamese Market SF. You may order at the counter or on a tablet. The people who work here are so nice and helpful. You order and get a number and wait for your text to come get it. I have ordered the beef dip and loved it, the dipping sauce is flavorful. The bread is fresh and crunchy. The meat is tender and delicious too with some onions. They add cilantro but I always take it off and give to people who like that. My mom and I visited the Saigon Street Food Court. There is currently 5 restaurants and we tried something from each one. From Stick and Roll we tried the bbq beef sandwich and it was amazing. Turns out they ran out of tofu so the gal working the front had to run to SF to buy more tofu, which also left the front unattended. I ordered the bbq sandwich and fries which took 20 mins to receive. Meat proportions in the sandwich was good, but there was almost no veggies. Overall the sandwich was tasty, but on the salty side. The whole ordering and waiting situation felt disorganized to me as i didn't receive a receipt or was not given an order number. I felt like we were relying on the girl working the front to remember our faces and orders. Hopefully they get it together soon so working folks can feel like they can stop by here for a quick lunch break. Would go back to try the rice plates when I'm not in lunch break. "I visited on Black Friday around 1 PM, and I was really disappointed with the service. The food court was nearly empty, just me and another couple, yet I experienced a long wait. I placed my order with a young girl who appeared disinterested. I waited 30 minutes before I went up to see if my order was ready. She was on the phone not paying attention and the cook in the back asked me if I placed an order. I told him yes and she got off the phone and went into the kitchen. I thought she was brining the food out, but came out to apologize that they didn't start on it. Really????? The fact she was on the phone and not paying attention to their ONE customer. My only issue was the pickled veggies were not sour enough for me. Probably needed more time to be pickled. It was also missing cucumbers and jalapeños but overall, I do appreciate the flavors especially due to the limited choices in Rancho. I went by for lunch today. I got their pork banh mi, the bread was fresh and soft. The grilled pork was good!!! Very authentic banh mi. I did notice there's not much of pate but the flavor of the grilled pork was really good and for $8 lunch?! I loved it, no complaints! The owners were also very nice and sweet.
