Decided to give this place a try after we had our central A/C unit replaced and the guys doing the installation turned down our offer to serve them lunch because they look forward to eating here whenever the work in the area. First, the people who work there are always very friendly. The place is always busy, good sign. They're always taking a telephone order, but someone is always available to take payment and provide the food ordered The food is always ready within the time period quoted on the phone when placing the order. The place is small, limited parking, limited seating, but we always do take out so no big deal. My wife and I have tried the meatball subs. We both loved them. The bread is nice and crisp on the outside and light and soft inside. The tomato sauce is very tasty and is light and fresh. The meatballs are really good. And we both prefer mozzarella as opposed to provolone and they were more than happy to accomodate the request. Other things we have tried and loved: Italian calzone, mozzarella sticks, chicken parm sub, chicken finger dinner (get the spicy fries), and the Reuben sandwich. Why didn't this place get 5 stars? We weren't fans of the pizza. In summary, good food, friently staff, quick/timely service. This is now our go to place for all things take out, except for pizza. read more

I had ordered the chicken Caesar wrap. It was delicious. Chicken was cooked and grilled. They ask u what type of wrap you want and I had chosen wheat. I also ordered their spicy fries on the side which was good. The total price of those two were around $10. read more

The pizza is fabulous!!! I am commenting about the HORRIBLE "Jumbo Chicken Wings" I had delivered. They were small, overcooked, and I couldn't even eat them. I had to throw them out! I was a regular after-work type of customer because Randolph Cafe is conveniently located on my way home. I stopped going because the steak tip salad I ordered one evening had a foul taste, which is unusual for beef. I had a quick and sudden stomach pain, so I stopped eating it. Since I was a regular I called them to let them know. Instead of saying "we're sorry for the inconvenience", the person who picked up the phone said "OK, I'll let the kitchen know". We ordered a large green pepper pizza to go, and we were pleased. The employee who took my phone order actually called me back to make sure he had it correct, instead of just guessing. The restaurant is clean and the employee at the front desk was courteous. The pizza was delicious and fresh. Not the best pizza we've ever had, but it was very tasty. This place is solid. It's got good italian/ny style pizza, not greek style, which is what my wife and I prefer. They also can do a no red sauce style pizza with feta and olives that my wife ordered and loved. I like the pepperoni and meatball. We order from them a lot, it's cheap and consistent. read more

Honestly, I have been coming here for several years and have never had one complaint about this place. The people there are the nicest around. They seriously take the time to get the order, get it right, and they get it done quick. Cold subs are done in a flash, and the grilled chicken salads, to DIE FOR! The food is fantastic and probably one of the better joints in the area as far as I'm concerned. The owner is hilarious and super friendly and very courteous. I have walked in on one of her busier days and she is hustling to get all the food out but still managed to talk to the regulars as well as newbies. Props to her. Fridays are the busiest nights of the week, walk in and see for yourself! As for the food, I can't say one bad thing and I have tried most if not everything there is to try on the menu. I love to eat, what can I say and this is coming from a 20 somethin student on a budget. Pizzas are bomb! (Try the margarita, by far my favorite and tastes a fresh as it looks. Fresh garlic, fresh sliced tomatoes, and a blend of herbs and spices, so yum!) Their jumbo fingers and wings are also fantastic, especially when you get them with the honey bbq or the honey mustard (the mustard sauce looks a little odd, but trust me its good!). I also love the grilled chicken hummus wraps with banana peppers. The grilled chicken is fresh chicken breast and if you're an early diner you might catch them grilling it up fresh. Seriously, if you're in the neighborhood, check them out. Order something small and try it for yourself. Prices are reasonable, there are equally unhealthy and healthy items on the menu. I just had the most amazing, perfectly cooked, and seasoned steak tips from Randolph Cafe! I had tips and a Greek salad, but, I forgot to tell my husband to ask for well done, but what he brought home was phenomenal! It was medium well, which I never order. The portion looked a little small at first, but, once I started eating it, I realized that it was more than enough. The price point for this meal was really good as well. We've tried this place twice. Honestly, it is right around the corner, so why not. The first time, they forgot our mozzarella sticks. The driver said he would bring them right back. 20 minutes later, when they still hadn't arrived, I called the restaurant to see what was going on. The woman on the phone was honestly kinda rude and told me that they had sent the driver back out and they should be there "any minute." When the lukewarm mozzarella sticks finally arrived, it was really exciting to see they had also given us a french fry. blech. So we decided to give them another try anyway. When I called to place my order the first time, the woman hung up on me. I called back to order our pizza and chicken fingers. Everything arrived this time. Pizza was under done- like the crust on the bottom was still dough. The mushrooms on the crust were canned mushrooms. blech blech blech. The chicken fingers....well, I've got frozen low fat chicken fingers that have been in my freezer for the last year and half that tasted better- but luckily they sent us two sweet and sour sauce packets. What happened to good old honey mustard and barbecue? For dessert, I am having a massive stomach ache. Needless to say we ripped up our menu and will not be trying it again. Randomly decided to try this place. Got a cheese pizza and sub. Loved the pizza, it is a real American, classic pizza. A lot of pizza parlors tend to make their pizzas greasy or Greek style. I prefer this type of pizza and loved the cheese that they used it tasted as if they added some real parmesian, which is my favorite. Crust was nice and soft instead of very crunchy. Also ordered a chicken cutlet sub which was great. I really liked the batter on the cutlets. I don't find that many pizza/ sub shops make their batter this way. It's a light floury batter instead of the hard breaded type of batter. Prices are reasonable too for a sub shop. Love their food can't wait to try other choices. Staff was friendly and nice when I went in. It's definitely a go to if I'm visiting my friend in the area! Best pizza around in the south shore. read more

I used to order from Randolph Café all the time and I just called them to place a delivery order and they put me on hold for 5min just to come back and say that they wont deliver to my house anymore because I "no called, no Showed" for a pick up order which is 100% not true. The food is decent but there is no loyalty and absolutely horrid business practices. I felt blacklisted and extremely offended by their tone and I will make sure to never give them my business again. As well as this being a totally rude and unfair business practice, they were 100% incorrect and for that I will never go back. It's a pretty good place to eat at considering the options for food delivery in randolph. Delivery is always fast so that's a plus and the drivers are nice. My family and I Iove this place! The people that answer and deliver the food are genuinely polite. On top of that, for the price the portions exceed. They show up not more than 40 minutes or less, and the food is always hot as you ordered or cold. The food is delicious! Ive lived in Randolph for years and use to always order from Randolph Cafe because they have good food but the service or should I say the women who works there is horrible(and shes always there). I understand this isn't a five star restaurant but at the same time as a paying customer I rather not pay for the rude service. It is as if she could careless if you order from them or not and due to her attitude I refuse to give them my money. Ive worked from a cafeteria to retail to a hospital but still maintain quality costumer service skills. You're better off ordering from the New Stash's in Randolph or better yet Randolph Famous Pizza the food is much better with the service to match. When I went to pick up my food my I handed my money to the woman who attended to then I checked my order and it was wrong. She gave me an extra calzone that was steak and cheese. I told her that I did not order that and it would go to waste and this lady did not want to give me my money. She had a don't care attitude. I paid for something that I did not order and that no one was going to eat. Horrible customer service. Had I known that my order was incorrect I would have never handed her my money. I have taken out from the Randolph Cafe in the past and it wasn;t great but just alright. I decided to get take out last night . I ordered a pizza half cheese and half pepperoni, mushroom, and onion well done. When it arrived, i was appalled to find out that the pizza was made with canned mushrooms and raw white onions - not cooked. The rest of the pizza was not well done. I called to state my disappointment and asked for a replacement pizza. they declined and said the pizza was well done. they would offer me a refund minus the tip (I'm ok with that). then I received a phone call stating they will return to pick up the pizza (I am also ok with that) . One the pizza was returned I got a call back with a woman ranting and raving at me for having nothing better to do with my time than complain. She stated I will not be delivered to again and I am not to walk through the doors (I will not do so but even if I did she has no clue who I am) . When I mentioned her customer service was lacking she started to swear at me and I finally had to hang up the phone . I wouldn't go back for the mere reason she called me back for a confrontation and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I ordered then from tomato in cheese, just a mile down the road. had the best service , the best pizza- done to perfection! I wish I had taken a picture of both pizzas so you could appreciate the difference. I would never be writing a bad review based on food I did not like. Well unlike Joao B. I have nothing but good words for this establishment. I have lived in Randolph for most of my life and i travel often and this restaurant is not only economically priced but also the portions are tremendous. I think the previous reviewer is confused and must of eaten there when it was the previous owner and i know that because you can literally watch them cook fresh as fresh gets chicken right in front of you and serve it on your salad, dinner etc. In fact I don't even think they have anything frozen. The service is fast, friendly, and personable, and during lunch breaks that is very important. I could go on and on but if you go there whether first time in you will be very pleased and you will become a regular. This restaurant is as good as it gets price, service, and quality of food.
