Technician Oleksandr inspected my washer for approximately 20-30 minutes and concluded that the…read moreissue was the spin basket assembly, stating it would cost $800 to replace. As any reasonable customer would, I asked for a breakdown of the cost and an explanation of how he determined that this specific part was the cause of the problem. He was unable to explain and instead dismissed my questions by saying the washer was old. I followed up by calling the company directly and asked how the same part for a 2004 washer could be found online for around $200. The supervisor responded that they purchase parts from a "reputable website." When I explained that the part I found was an OEM part from a reputable source, no explanation was given for the significant price difference. I then requested to speak with a manager, owner, or someone higher up, but was repeatedly told that no one was available. At no point was a clear diagnosis, justification, or cost breakdown provided. This experience gave the impression that the company assigns inflated, arbitrary prices without being able to clearly explain the root cause of the issue or justify their diagnosis--yet expects customers to blindly trust them. After reading other reviews, I noticed a consistent pattern of similar complaints. At this point, it's clear the issue is not the customers.

I was referred to this company by a friend. I called Sunday and had a appointment for Monday…read moreevening. Yuri let me know when the tech was on the way of my house. The tech took off the front of my stackable washer and dryer and in less than 5 minutes said I had a loose washer belt. I asked him how he knew because he didn't run a diagnostic test or anything, he said he just did. The tech said it would cost $250 to fix it and this seemed very high to me. I called Yuri to inquire a price for the belt and a teacher discount. Yuri would not give me the price of the belt, so I quickly Googled washer belts and they are under $40. I asked why the price was so high and he said labor starts at $225 and that was baseline. I asked why that wasn't disclosed with me over the phone on Sunday and he said the company doesn't do that. So, overall a price for the belt was not provided and only a $5 teacher discount was offered. I decided not to move forward with this company. I do not recommend them and will not be telling friends to use them. I was informed, even with a receipt the cost of the product would not be provided.

I called them to repair my combo washer/dryer. The initial appointment was great and the tech,…read moreDale, was on the time. I love the fact that they text you to let you know when the tech is on the way. They save you from having to wait around the house. Dale did a great job of troubleshooting, explaining the problem, and gave me a complete estimate for parts and labor. He told me that it would take a couple of days to get the part. He said they would call and schedule the follow-up appointment. The part came in and they schedule the appointment. Dale was on time and completed the repair in a timely manner. He showed me the defective part and clean up after he was finished. I will use Mr. Appliance in the future for my service need! Thanks!

Do not use these guys; they are highly unethical. They do not advertise this, but they will not do…read moreany work on the sealed system of refrigerators. This includes the compressor, evaporator, drier, heat exchange parts, condenser, or any connective tubing (basically half of the fridge). This, by itself, is not a problem, but they fail to mention it until after they have sent a repair tech out to look at your fridge for 5 minutes, only to tell you it is the compressor and then charge you a $100 - $150 diagnostic fee. And all of this after you tell the customer service rep who you scheduled the appointment with that you think it is the compressor; we had this same issue two years ago and replaced the compressor. After all this, I followed up with the office and asked why I was not told that they would not fix it if it was the compressor before they sent someone out and charged me. Their response was, "If we told all our customers that, we would go out of business" - seriously, two company members gave me this response, one of them a manager. Newsflash: if concealing pertinent information about your company's services is essential for you to stay in business, you are doing something wrong. I have no clue how Mr. Appliance is when fixing an issue that they will work on or with other appliances. But any company that conceals information from customers to make money should not stay in business. Use another appliance repair shop; there are much better options.

Technician said as long as my ice is frozen the freezer is working but his "professional" temps gage was reading 8 degrees and climbed to 17 degrees as he was holding the door open. He said it was only that high because the door was open. He never checked the coils or for a filter. I got a second opinion for another company. I called this company back to request they send another technician out to right the wrong and they refused to send someone else out. Now we are out $65 that this business scammed us out of and we have to hire someone else. Choose wisely and spend your money elsewhere.

Temperature so low that it actually froze and cracked the water filter. He would not replace the filter. They replaced some other part and said I would have to purchase a filter myself. He denied that freezing caused it to crack. Refrigerator temp is still below freezing now. I took out the filter so it can't freeze it again. I called them back. They offered to take out all the new parts and put back my old parts And give me a partial refund. They would not even consider giving back the original service call fee. He has been out a total of 6 times. I'm not allowing him back in my house again. No telling what he might do if I allow him to swap out my old parts for his new ones. I really don't think he knows what he is doing. Just throwing parts at it and hoping for the best. I guess I just waisted 525.00 I am going to get someone else to come fix my issue. Would give less than one star if I could. Please don't allow these people in your home.
