The atmosphere and the service was really well We had a margarita pizza, and a pepperoni pizza, which both were very flavorful and good We had lasagna. It was a good portion size and flavorful I give it a four star because the fettuccine was kind of bland. Didn't have a lot of flavor.

After a long day, we were a bit too tired to eat at a restaurants so we decided to get a pizza to go. After reviewing the options online, Rappone, Brick Oven seemed the logical choice. You can smell the smoke from the pizza crust as soon as you get out of the car, which is even more pronounced when you walk into the restaurant. My pizza was waiting when I arrived, but the dessert display looked so good, I had to add a large piece of chocolate Cake, and a servicing of Tiramisu. The Margherita pizza was cooked perfectly and tasted even better. The crust was dark like we like it, and the fresh tomato based sauce and fresh Mozzarella were amazing. The chocolate Cake was fresh, moist, with Creamy icing and delicious. The wife typically does not like Chocolate cake, but she loved this one. The Tiramisu didn't disappoint either. Service was great so 5 stars all the way around.

The food was delicious!! The service was attentive, personal and efficient. The ambience gave small Italian cafe vibes and we were there for it!! We couldn't resist getting two appetizers- the flatbread special sounded too good to pass up- and it was. Rigatoni is this pasta of the house and it tastes handmade. Highly recommend the little hidden gem!

Locals - you're incredibly lucky to have a place like this in your backyard. Visitors - make this a MUST STOP for a night during your trip. Every single thing our family ordered was delicious. We got the pizza for an appetizer, a special of ravioli with pink sauce, homemade lasagna, and chicken parm. The ravioli was by far the best tasting thing we got, but all the food was so good. Everything was fresh - sauces, pastas, pizza, it really tasted like home cooked food and not a premade takeout! Our server was so attentive and thoughtful and it's just a really nice little place to eat!

I think I have told y'all before that I'm a pizza authority! Got the certificate, badge and all! I know pizza! A authentic pizza expert! Ok, now that I have proven my expertise. I had some great pizza today. Truly good brick oven pizza. My wife actually picked out this spot in North Myrtle Beach and she had me at brick oven! As far as I am concerned if pizza is not cooked in a traditional Woodfired brick oven then it's just microwave pizza! Ha! Someone is gonna kill me for saying that! But this pizza spot was nice. Small, quant, had a guy playing the piano and a real Italian Bisto kinda vibe. We went with the margarita pizza which always a good test for pizza. Avoid all the extra topping because they often mask the true landmarks of pizza, the crust, the sauce, and the cheese. Rapone hit all marks. Thin crispy crust, zesty sauce and real buffalo mozzarella cheese. The service was awesome and we topped it off with some made to order cannolis! Winning!

This is THE spot for pizza when you visit Myrtle Beach! We had the Vesuvio and it knocked our socks off. Fantastic! Check it out.

We were in town for a girls trip and we stopped in for some good food and we found it. The pizza was perfection, desserts were devine and drinks were good. Service was excellent! We will for sure be back when we go back to Myrtle Beach.

This restaurant really made me feel back home in Europe. The ingredients used are great quality, the ambiance is casual and very welcoming. That's the key! I went with my family twice in 3 days! I had the Ribeye twice (cooked on wood !) and we also had the Grouper special with lemon pasta (delicious) and we tried some pizzas and mussels. Everything was perfect! The owner is very friendly and really cares about his customers. I'm lactose intolerant so he told me no worries, we cook on demand! You can also talk to him and have a conversation which is very valuable! We need more small restaurants like this in USA! Also, their house wine is very decent and their wine list is very good price! You can get a wine (big) carafe for 20$. I would definitely come have a nice, casual dinner like at home. If you appreciate real food and like eating without rushing (the way it should be), this is your place! Also, service was great both days. Young servers, very attentive and helpful, cool people! Btw, they do espressos! Hopefully we go back to Myrtle again! I currently live in Raleigh.

The live music is amazing! This quaint restaurant is perfect for a nice evening. The crust of the pizza was perfect, the right mix of crunch and chewiness. The sauce was a little sweet but still delicious. The waiter and guest were all helpful and friendly. Will definitely return.

We originally planned to try another highly rated Italian restaurant in the area, but after reading…read moremore detailed reviews, it seemed overpriced with inconsistent quality and smaller portions--more suited for a date night than a family meal where value matters. Based on my brother-in-law's recommendation, we decided to try this place instead, and I'm glad we did. From the start, the experience stood out. The food quality was excellent, and the portions were surprisingly generous--something you don't often find at Italian restaurants. They also offer complimentary bread with a choice of soup or salad, which is becoming increasingly rare. Even more impressive, these weren't afterthoughts. The bread was perfectly crusty and served with a flavorful olive oil infused with tomato and garlic. Both the salad and chicken soup were fresh and well-prepared. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. I had the chicken Sorrento with prosciutto and mushrooms over pasta, and it was outstanding--well-balanced, flavorful, and cooked just right. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere without feeling overly formal. Service was quick, and our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout. I don't often give five-star reviews, but this place truly earned it. It delivers on both quality and value, which is a combination that's hard to find.

Numerous tables and booths available for seating, as well as the bar. And outside dining is also an option. Prices & portions seem reasonable. This place appears to get quite busy and also looks to have many regulars. Family-owned- European and Northern Italian influence. We came on a Saturday night, shorty before close, so we were able to get two seats at the bar. Our bartender was extremely attentive throughout our visit. Complementary bread is provided. Comes with a nice oil and garlic blend. Ordered the Bucatini Puttanesca & Spaghetti with Italian Sausage. These come with a dinner salad or up grade to a Caesar for $2 more (which I did). Both salads were fresh and delicious. I will say one of the best caesar dressings I've had. The pasta, presentation was lovely. The flavors bland, tomato sauce (tastes straight from the can) had no additional spices present and the pasta way over cooked. Seems their noodles are pre-cooked and Al Dente then is just not possible. This is another reason why the rating was just below average. Really disappointing. Would not be a place we would revisit.

Hi Everyone, If you…read morelive to eat as many my of my Italian friends do, Villa Romano's succulent fare, will put that curl in your hair. This restaurant was a surprise from our oh so friendly, engaging, interesting and very accomplished Accordion Virtuoso, Mike. To our very enthusiastic, lovely, patient, Server Berkley. To our food which was divine. To the "Old World" Italian environment, kinda like Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, without the human statues that move ever so slightly, but just enough to to make you feel, something is a miss, but what??? Man, that drove me crazy. Also, you want to go here to dine because their competing Restaurants in the area feel having you wait in very long, well over an hour and a half lines, just to get in satisfies their need not to take any reservations. Hun...? Yep, they're fine having Aunt Susie's makeup looking like Mark Shostrom, the Master Makeup Artist from the horror series "A Nightmare on Elm Street" movies, put it on for her. We all know also, because while we tried our best not looking at how Aunt Susie's makeup was contorting her face, it was like trying not to look at a car wreck. I even laid 7-5 odds that her false eyelashes would become a moustache, and won, while we all did exactly that to satisfy my beautatious date's Cousins' from Reno, fish wish, in Myrtle Beach. We stood in the lines outside, in the evening heat, at three different restaurants that we tried. Please remember to bring water, you'll feel better while you wait, wait, wait again, and then really wait, as if Mosses is going to appear from on high with the Ten Commandments. Instead it's, "Your table is ready" as you try to wake Grandma from her heat induced coma. While Villa Romano's bait, is to actually take your reservation and instead, have you relax on your tushy while having a cocktail in their comfortably A/C filled delightful ambience while you relive your day's perspective with friends and Family ("No, you missed it. First he...", ya know), while Mike fills the air with his sweet mellifluous musical notes floating by you for your audio pleasure, much like the feather in Forrest Gump. Their appetisers looked awesome however, this is an "Old World" Italian restaurant that offered their minestrone soup, and their Caesar salad which came with our meals, was very tasty, and paired very well with the bottle of wine from their varied, and well selected wine list, which we all shared. First, I read some of Villa Romania's great reviews on Yelp, before making a reservation, most especially, because I did not want anyone to have to repeat "THE LONG Lines" at our Fried Fish Palace, lol experience from two nights earlier. All of our entrees pictured below, were savoy, aroma enticing, tastebud thrilling, flavor forward, and exceeded all our sensory expectations which helped us all unwind while really enjoying our evening out together as it unexpectedly, evolved into an event for us all. While all their deserts sounded wonderful we were all completely full. But on our next visit, tiramisu, ice cream, and cannolis for all. So it's expensive, right? That is a great question Poindexter, but wrongo, my parsimonious friend. It was again, surprisingly affordable, and "I shall return" as General Douglas MacArthur once said. Why? Because sometimes you just can't find what will work for everyone, and that feels and tastes, just right. That's it! That is Villa Romana Restaurant, and we all were so gleeful and happy we discovered that fact in our visit to Myrtle Beach, SC. Manga... Enjoy!

He wasn't just taking our order -- he was curating an experience. Now let's talk about the Cacio e Pepe -- insanely good doesn't even begin to cover it.
