Came in on a Saturday afternoon because I was craving a augua Fresca. Glad I came here because they had a variety of snack items to choose from. I got a watermelon frescha 10/10! They also had other options that I'll be back for. Also got the nachos with jalapeños 9/10! Plenty of cheese and chips! I enjoyed the spice to the cheese. That hit the spot. Lastly, I got a plain elote with better and salt. It was ok. The corn was tasteless and bland. I'd pass on the corn. The staff were friendly and inviting. The place was clean and had a fun, vibrant vibe that made the visit even more enjoyable. I had the tostilocos with hot cheetos and OMG it was to die for. They hook it up with the toppings. This was the most tamarindo I have ever found in tostilocos, my mouth is watering just writing this. I also got the fruta picada which was wonderful. I can't wait to go back and try more! read more

My bf and I ate at Jalisco next door and conveniently walked on over here. I was specifically wanting a bionico. Bionicos are my favorite snack and they have it. It's a fruit salad and Raspa 2 makes it with crema, granola, and pecans. Typically, I enjoy it most with cottage cheese, granola, and honey, but I still really enjoyed their version. The apples were cut in slices so it requires the fork they give you. The rest of the fruit is nicely cut (bite-size) so it's best to scoop with the spoon they give you so you can scoop crema and fruit together. Their raspado drinks sounded really good, but we didn't order any. My bf ate their flan (neoplitano). I had a bite and thought it was really good! Flan, I can take it or leave it, but that was perfect. They also have flan casero. I'm a visitor to AZ and I'd totally come back here on my next visit. read more

This place serves excellent raspados - Mexican shaved ice with fruit syrup. They offer a large variety of flavors and you can customize with toppings as well. I recommend getting the condensed milk to add a little extra sweetness. Perfect for a warm sunny day and if you're looking for something a little healthier than ice cream. read more

Had the pleasure of visiting Raspa 2 Jalisco during their Grand Opening! I have to say that inside the place looks very clean and very cool interior design. So for all you instagrammers and foodies, you can get a cute picture in with the lotería backdrop. The staff are very friendly and provide wonderful insight on the different flavors they offer. I ordered the Obispo which is essentially a raspado with a scoop of thrifty ice cream. Total came out to be $7 which is a little bit higher than your average raspado but then again this didn't taste average. They use real fruit juices and bring real quality ingredients to the table. I don't mind the prices at all and I would return again for this or their other delicious Mexican treats. P.S.- They have a pretty good Mexican food restaurant next door and you can score some delicious tacos before dessert or vice versa. read more

Both employees were wearing masks and gloves upon entry, which was reassuring during this Covid-19 pandemic. I picked Obispo and chose strawberry & coconut juices. They mixed it with chopped ice, topped mine with my choice of strawberry cheesecake icecream, and real strawberries and cream on top! This is amazing. I will be back. Went here today because my daughter was craving shaved ice and this was close. We got a mangoneada and elote. The corn was pretty good but not spicy enough. We thought maybe they didn't spice it all the way because we are pretty fair skinned :-). The mango was good but a bit to syrupy. All in all I would go again. read more

I'm obsessed with their store!! Definitely authentic Mexican style, super flavorful and great staff. I come here at least once a week and get La Russa with the sparkling water. Their little gelatins are also so so yummy. 10/10 would highly recommend especially on a hot day. read more

The staff didn't make excuses. They owned it immediately, were incredibly genuine, attentive, and went above and beyond to turn things around. By the end of the meal, not only were we glad we stayed, but it became one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in a long time. The biggest reason for that was our waiter, Cru. Absolute professional. Personable, attentive, thoughtful, and somehow managed to make us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant despite how busy things were. Great service is easy when everything runs perfectly, but it's worth acknowledging that what Cru did was much harder. He completely changed the energy of the night through pure hospitality and effort. On top of that, his recommendations for food were spot on and exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, atmosphere was great, but the way the team handled adversity and recovered is what deserves recognition. Mistakes happen anywhere. The response is what matters, and this restaurant absolutely delivered. Cru deserves all the credit in the world. As well as the entire staff and management. I will be back, without a doubt.
