They are about to close and the guy so nicely explains the options on their menu and make us a bionico (mix of fruits, with condensed milk, granola) and a esquite (corn on the cub served on a cup, with mayo and cheese). As I start to bite into my fruit mix I realize there were some fruits I didn't know would be on the mix, so I asked to get them removed, and him, so nicely gets it redone. Not to mention that more ppl kept coming in even though they were minutes away from closing. Kudos to this family owned business. That's how you make business and happy customers. This place is wonderful for treats and snacks! My husband really was craving some elote and we stumbled upon this place. They have a wide variety of stuff including smoothies, fruit, ceviche, ice cream, milkshakes, nachos, shaved ice, and elote. I ordered the mangoneada, which is like a mango sorbet popsicle with chamoy sauce. Chamoy is a spicy sweet sauce and it is such a good compliment with the sweet mango! My husband got the elote with crema and queso. It was delicious and he was happy to satisfy his craving. The staff was very nice and very fast. This business page should update the hours of operation, because it is inaccurate. A couple weeks ago I went and the place was closed, and when I tried again the next day it was closed again. This led me to assume that the place was no longer operating. Well this week I decided to give it one more try but calling beforehand to make sure they are open. So I have confirmed that they are closed every Wednesday and Thursday. Now, for the food. This place is rare because Reno does not have a lot of restaurants for antojitos. It is quite small, with three small tables and a bar. I was greeted by a friendly man who seemed like the only person that was working. They have a very simple menu posted on the wall with images. I decided to try the takielote, which was an elote with crushed takis instead of cotija cheese. This was very delicious, and you can't go wrong with a good elote with a twist. I also ordered the duro preparado, which was a bottom layer of some sort of chip and toppings of sour cream, lettuce, tomato, and cueritos (pickled pigskin). The serving was huge and tasted very good also. For a total of $9 this was a great deal! This is a great place for snacks, because they also offer desserts and a large variety of drinks. The only suggestion I would offer would be to call ahead and ask if they are open. Other than that I would definitely return in the future. read more

This is the most authentic and most refreshing place I've been to! It has a huge variety of fresh fruit and snacks. The place is clean and welcoming with areas for sitting. They take their time to create everything fresh to order. I've had their Elotes, Chamoyada and smoothies. My favorite item by far is the Kabyle. It's like a lime slush topped with lime sorbet (amazing!) and it's sweet, sour and the chamoy and tajin add the perfect kick. My boyfriend had the Jalisiense.
