I love this place so much! It is such a friendly, comfortable vibe, with incredibly authentic food. I usually get the Takielote and the Kabyle, but today I got the Dorielote (which is also bomb). The owners are an adorable couple who are SO friendly. They always make sure that their customers are satisfied, and always interact with you. Get to know them, they are super interesting and have a wonderful story :)

Raspado de Nuez pequeño, raspado de guayaba pequeño, raspado de mango pequeño, y raspado de rompope normal.

Walked into the establishment around 7 pm. We were greeted and our order was taken promptly. They accommodated our child size request for the raspados. They have about 20 different natural flavors ranging from coffee to fresh fruit. El jarabe estaba muy delicioso! We're definitely coming back!

This place is wonderful for treats and snacks! My husband really was craving some elote and we stumbled upon this place. They have a wide variety of stuff including smoothies, fruit, ceviche, ice cream, milkshakes, nachos, shaved ice, and elote. I ordered the mangoneada, which is like a mango sorbet popsicle with chamoy sauce. Chamoy is a spicy sweet sauce and it is such a good compliment with the sweet mango! My husband got the elote with crema and queso. It was delicious and he was happy to satisfy his craving. The staff was very nice and very fast. It was a busy place with people constantly coming and going but there is plenty of parking. We can't wait to come back try different things.

They have a picture menu which makes it a lot easier to communicate. I ordered the elote and vaso de fruta. Elote was ok at first but then getting too much cheese and carb for me. I could only ate 1/3 of it. The vaso de fruta didnt not look like the picture. They already chopped fruits to small cubes. Overall, its ok nothing so impressive. Everything were so expensive.

This place is clean and sooo good!! They make everything to order so the wait is a little long but definitely worth it Updating my review in 2019 this place is still the best antojitos in Reno everything is fresh and always taste the same they strive on being consistent. Exactly what you see on the menu is exactly what you get when you order! The place is clean and not run down like other antojitos in Reno.

This place was really good ! I really liked the lime slushy and the Takis with corn ! I definitely recommend . It is pricey but the food and drinks are yummy .

Chamoyada, Vanilla Shake and a sample of a Raspado the owner made for me to taste!

This is a small local place, if you're looking for some refreshing treats this place to go, the Chamoyada is AMAZING!!! I have always driven past this placed but never stopped by until a few months ago and I am so glad I did. I recommend this place to anyone and EVERYONE looking for something different they have beverages and snacks as well. The woman who owns this place is absolutely sweet, honest and friendly; the prices vary but you won't be disappointed at all!!!

My elote is bigger than yours! Washed it down with a strawberry and banana smoothie

This is probably the best thing ever! It's a diabólito typically it's made with tamarindo, lime, salt, chili powder and chamoy. It also includes a spear of cucumber, Jicama and a tamarindo candy stick,I asked for it without the tamarindo and it was perfect!

    Naima J.

Hands down best placed for Mexican snacks and much more in Reno Nevada . I love the authenticity and the freshness that everything it's made . Definitely I recommend this placed . Freshness , delicious and nutritious..

I was glad that I did finally drop in. Located in a little strip mall on Valley Road, it's an unassuming place from the outside. The inside is small, but comfortable and it felt very "homey". When I walked in, the first thing that hit me was the smell of delicious food wafting through the air. The tastes did not disappoint. We were greeted and sat promptly by a personable young man that brought us water. The owner then brought us our drinks...a margarita for my dining companion and a Mandarin Jarritos for me. My sip of the margarita tasted amazing! Great balance and flavor. We also received a basket of chips and salsa. You could tell that they were made fresh to order. The chips were crispy and hot. The salsa was outstanding...fresh cilantro...balanced combination of flavors with a nice, subtle kick of spiciness at the back end. Not too spicy...just right. I usually have to ask for something hotter...not in this case. The food was amazing! My dining companion ordered the Chile Relleno plate and I got the Molcajete. The prices are outstanding and the amount of food? Huge plates! My Molcajete was sizzling hot and overflowing with chicken, beef, shrimp, nopales and ground beef mixed with veggies. A large plate of refried beans and spanish rice also accompanied this presentation. Fresh, hot, delicious corn tortillas rounded out each of our orders. We were also given a couple of squeeze bottles of sauces...green and red...to add to our meals if we wanted. Freshly made and the bottles were presented in a plastic tub filled with ice to keep them cold. Great addition to the already amazing food! There's also a nice selection of Mexican hot sauces on the table for you to choose from. We both took to-go boxes...so much food! Mine lasted for 2 more meals! I plan to return on a regular basis...this is now one of my favorite local places for great Mexican food. As always, I suggest that you visit to see what YOU think...

The tacos have plenty of protein so dont over order. Worse case you can take them home. We also got some appetizers. The ahi was fresh. Their was a culmination of citrus and a sauce. I can't put my foot on. But it was delicious. Since we also had some chips and dip. I did place some ahi onto of the chips for some crunch. I rate the service a 5 out of 5. They were attentive, even with the dinner rush. They gathered plates and provided water in good time. They were so prompt with the food as well. It came out fresh and quickly. We ordered another taco as one of the little ones preferred carne asada. Great service staff for sure. Must go to place, if your ever downtown.

Not much quantity so we had to ask for more. They gave us a little more. Seemed kind of stingy. Ambiance - Decent size location. Not busy at all on a Friday prime dinner time. This should have been a sign... Table, booth, and bar seating. Limited mall parking in front, but no problem getting a good space. Your outside signage needs some repairs. Service - Just okay. I had to ask for everything; utensils, more chips, etc. The younger female employee was better than the older one. Price - $19; reasonable. Plus a more generous tip then earned... But I did NOT appreciate the hidden charges. 50¢ extra for chorizo. 3.5% credit card fee. If you disclosed it, it would NOT have made a difference, but nowhere on the menu nor did any employee mention these additional charges. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2018...?
