No. Actually, not any responses to tenants. When I asked why? Patricia their main manager stated there are too many tenants for one manager. I was schooled that Mountain View Manor 200 LP was not their only tenants. To which I responded, 'it seems as if GBM needs help; a LOT more HELP.' -Thus, my complaint is emails are 99.9999% unanswered and when they are answered they are not nice well intentioned responses. Maintenance request placed on GBM PORTFOLIO largely are unmet and must be placed many, many, many times for basic everyday repairs. The property used to be so well manicured and maintained by multiple previous owners. Every single day, their was complex cleaners for the property and the laundry rooms. The pavement used to be a pretty bluish gray. Golden Bee Management has 'gardeners' who seem limited on their task and only maintain once a week. They have 'cleaners' who clean once a week. Once a week for a huge complex where there is a sea of people who where moved in under various programs. $$$$$. No, the people most welcome and i am glad they are housed. I came under a program 18 years ago. ...and I am housed. I was housed in/on a clean, well maintained apartment complex where the managers and their assistants where approachable and nice. Nice is a word foreign to Golden Bee Management and all it's avenues. $$$$$$$$$. Humans? Kindness? Manners, basic manners? Nope. Golden Bee Management's property Management leaves a lot to be desired. It was explained to me that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING can be done without PRIOR AUTHORIZATION or it will be GARNISHED from Golden Bee Management's employees. Again, everything and all must be authorized. Anyone here property owners? If you are a property owner, you are responsible for anything and everything that happens in or on the property you/one owns. So, no, do not blame the tenants for the property being filthy, yes, filthy. Do not blame the tenants for laundry rooms being messy. Golden Bee Management did not have a trash can, AGAIN, a trash can in its laundry room for months and months. Their laundry rooms are filled with lint all over. That is a fire hazard. Golden Bee Management, for those of us who are tenants I ask, 'why the hostility, Yes, hostility'? Why the ugly, negative energy towards tenants? Why the unanswered emails? I want to start by saying that I did not choose Goldman Property Group, but that they bought a…read morebuilding I was happily living in. I want to share my experience of living under their ownership for about 3 years. I moved into a GREAT place in Studio City in 2021 and the manager and owners wanted to keep their residents and only raised rent 2 or 3% a year. The manager was always on call and took care of the building personally and kept the place clean and was on a first name basis with everyone. Water and trash was included in the rent. I was happy. Than GPG bought the building and since my rent had just been raised 3%, they did not raise the rent but my rent went up in fact because GPG put the water and trash cost on the residents using the RUBS fees, that's legal but in some cities, considered a rent increase. That added, on average, about $80 after a convoluted formula was applied. After a year, my rent went up 10%, the next year, about 9% and this last increase was just shy of 9%. Almost 30% raise in 3 years with Goldman Property Group. All of it legal but they did shave off .07% the last two years from what they could legally raise it to in CA. I finally moved out and was charged for paint and deep clean and got about half my deposit back. I left the apartment in very normal wear and tear condition with no abuse of the apartment. They suggested paying online but charged a fee to me to pay rent online so I was able send a check from my bank for most months. They use an AI service to check on your renters insurance and if its not exactly as requested regarding proof, it's kicked back with no explanation and it's hard to get a human through that service. They do deserve the star due to repair requests being pretty fast. Although they did some plumbing on the building and then we had knocking pipes for the rest of my time there. So if you like getting squeezed for every last buck, they're the property company you're looking for. I'm sure there's worse out there but I'm born and raised in LA and I haven't seen it.

They don't return calls, even in person they have no answers, no person to contact, including my building manager that I have never spoken to since they took over the building. They give you no information on how they operate and/or their particular procedures. They charge fees readily and have zero follow up or basic communication. And yet they have many, many buildings they "manage" in LA. NOTE: By and large, a person goes to the trouble of leaving a review when they have had a partially noteworthy experience with a company- usually either bad or good. A person doesn't normally just pop-up to say that "everything has been great and things have been handled. No problems here!". But if you really start to read their reviews you can easily see a pattern. The real reviews from actual tenants state actual issues with history, facts and pertinent information. They clearly pad their reviews as well. So you can add honest to their list of glowing attributes.
