I probably should have made an appointment for my last few visits, because I somehow always get Coco and she's just not good. She did a dip mani on me a few weeks ago - my first - that was so lumpy and thick that the cuticle edges kept catching on my hair and clothes. When I finally went back to have it removed and get a regular gel manicure instead, she rushed through my pedicure (no spa, just regular). While she was using the callus file she was looking around the salon and not at my heels, which she was sanding down to nothing. Barely any massage. The gel manicure was also rushed. She was using a worn file to shred the thick layers of dip powder - which she'd applied a few weeks ago - until my nail plates felt sore. You can see how the polish was applied. No cleaning up of the skin around my nails and a gap between the polish and cuticle. I didn't love the color (it definitely looked different on the swatch nail) but I just wanted to leave at that point. I walked out feeling like I wasted $40 plus tip. And now my nails are SO THIN. I'm sad because I really like Alice, Lily, June, and the gentleman who does the massages. I've been going here forever. I just can't keep wasting money on bad manicures. I also miss when they'd use a fresh file and buffer on each client, but now they're obviously reusing the ones they have into the ground.

I got my nails done here on December 23rd, and it's now December 26th. I'm currently sitting here trying to glue my dip powder nail extensions back on. The day RIGHT AFTER one came off, and then 3 the next day after them only lasting three days. At first I was disappointed, but now I'm genuinely frustrated. I got my nails done on December 23rd at 3:00 PM. I Ubered there and back, and money is not easy to come by these days. I spent $100 (80 for the nails, 20 dollar tip) on the nails, plus transportation, for a service that ended up not being worth that amount. Candice did my nails, and she is a friend of mine. Based on her nail posts, I was extremely excited to get my nails done by her. Her designs are intricate, and she has worked with big brands, so I genuinely thought what I was asking for would be simple in comparison. I asked for a holographic design with a rainbow gradient, and immediately she warned me that she didn't think she could do that. At first I was understanding, especially since I openly shared that I hadn't gotten my nails done in a while, so I wanted to give her grace. However, part of me was confused because I've seen her do very complex designs before. After she finished her previous client, it was my turn. The length of the nails was perfect, but when she finished, my cuticles weren't even pushed back. They looked messy and already had the appearance of outgrown nails. What makes this more upsetting is that these nails were done for an event. A nail artist should take pride in their work, whether the client is a friend or a stranger. The final result should match the standards shown in her nail photos. During my appointment, she mentioned that she had somewhere to go after me and wanted to avoid traffic. Although she said she never wants to rush her clients, the service itself LOOKED rushed. I communicated this and showed her a photo of a nail coming off after simply buckling my seatbelt. She did give me a partial refund of $50, which I was grateful for. However, since then, two more nails have come off just from unwrapping Christmas gifts, which has added to my frustration. None of the nails she posts look as messy as mine did. It makes me feel like the quality of my service was lower because we already knew each other, which is disappointing. I expected the same level of care and professionalism shown in her other work, and unfortunately, that wasn't my experience. I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision, and I hope this feedback is taken as constructive rather than personal. read more

I have come to Raw Lab Spa for few times. I love the cleanliness and well-organized of the store. The place is small but has plenty of the sunshine in the morning, which I loved so much. I came here the first time with my friend to try their $20 pedicures. First of all, I noticed that they have pedicure liner for each client, which is nice so that we don't have to worry about any cross contamination with others. All tools were clean, new files and buffers were used. The pedicure took about 40 minutes and Tiffany made sure ours nails are dried before we left. For $20 pedicure, we got a warm milk soaking bath, foot scrub, heel buff, foot massage, and nice meditation music to listen. I came back the second time for a gel manicure, which is on promotion for only $20, and old gel removal for $5. My gel manicure is still looking fine for a week and a half. Tiffany let me know that some stores use harsh chemical to prep the nail before gel application to help gel last longer. But on the other side, the chemical is acidic and will dry out and make nails more brittle. So now you know why nails get so soft and easy to break after each gel manicure. Tiffany said she never uses any kind of things can harm to clients health, so she won't use any harsh chemical for the gel manicure service, but she will try to make sure the gel can last for at least two weeks. read more

I think this salon is one of the smallest nail salons in Philadelphia, but they provided the best services ever. The staffs were very nice. They offered me lemonade and a water bottle before I leave to make sure I could get hydrate throughout the day. I was so relaxed to have a pedicure and watched Dior and I movie on Netflix. The store is small, they have only two pedicures chairs, so make sure to call ahead of time for an appointment before you come. The store has many difference brand name toxin free polishes, and I believed that their nail treatment products are natural as wells. The foot scrub smells so good, and my technician was so meticulous for my pedicure. Mani and Pedi are on special discounts for only $12 and $20. But I would never mind for the price because the quality of the service is what I concern about. I was impressed with everything today so I am highly recommended. Where do I even begin!!?? The service is just beyond anything I've experienced at a nail salon. Now the space is extremely small. So is the restroom, BUT I personally like the coziness the salon provides. The two ladies here are very, VERY meticulous in their services and techniques. They have a SAMSUNG pad hooked to Netflix so you can watch whatever you want while they do their magic. Make sure you have time spaced out. This is not a place to be rushed. My nails were busted and I had some gnarly ogre toes which they transformed. Since moving to the city I needed to find a nail salon and I've found it. * They also offer a five day guarantee service just in case you're dissatisfied with any mani/pedi service, which is AWESOME. It is such an amazing, and luxurious experience, which will delight all of your senses!!! Very rude and racist people!!! First of all it was a hassle to make an appointment. It should be something like 'Hey I need a meni and pedi when can I come in?' but instead you gotta hunt them down for 3+ weeks and then when you finally go there for service you don't even get proper treatment. Tiffany and specially the older lady are very racist. They pick and choose their customer. My meni got little messed up while I was waiting so I asked them to fix it. Tfffany just smiled put a dot on top of the messed up area asked if it was 'okay'? they are wolves under sheep skin. Terrible!!! Besides, they advertised as natural but are they really. I am so impressed after my first visit few weeks ago. I wish I could give them 1 million stars. I booked a gel manicure and pedicure at the last minute and was so happy they could fit me in. Tiffany performed my manicure and other lady did my pedicure. They did both services at the same time, which was great and comfortable! The place is in a small, but very quaint, and peaceful. The chair I was in could not have been more comfortable; it was a very relaxing environment. Both ladies did an excellent job and were very sweet. I especially appreciate that the work was done efficiently without feeling rushed. Both services last extremely long, the gel manicure lasts me for almost 4 weeks without any chipped or lifted. I came few days ago and hesitated to write a review because I want to see how the polish of my manicure would last. It is great for 10 days now. I love the color and it lasts so well. Tiffany said this polish can help nail oxygenated, which means nails can absorb air and water, so hopefully it is safe for my short brittle nails. I got signature aromatic healing which had honey sugar scrub with jasmine infused in jojoba oil, which smelled wonderful. I will definitely be back for a pedicure. read more

Excellent service and my favorite nails I've ever gotten done! I've always had a hard time finding someone to do the almond shape the way I like and this was perfect. This is dip done by Candice but they all do great work. I just showed her a pic of inspiration and it's honestly even better than the picture. She also didn't even know how to buff my nails correctly which is a fairly easy thing to do. I would never recommend anyone to go here. I wish I never came in the first place because my nails are still broken and now super weak which they used to be so strong. This lady ruined my nails and I am so disgusted that she even has her license if she even has one. 0 stars.

The space is clean and spread out, where you don't feel like you're on top of all the other customers. They had a variety of colors and the service was great. I will say there was no massage included like at other nail salons, but I left with my nails looking great!
