Customer service is always amazing every time I come to this location. I truly enjoyed dinner tonight with my family. We were greeted at the door and wished well as we left the restaurant. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty cool! The history and art displayed on the wall is pretty capturing. The bottles with lights/ the cool animal decor is nice! It really pulls you in to make you feel Cajun vibes! Even the music is a vibe! It's soulful blues! This establishment is in a shared parking lot with another restaurant but there is plentiful of parking. The visit is always amazing! And the food is always fresh! And appetizers are flavorful! Our waiter was pleasant I hate didn't get her name but she was kind and patient and took our orders and gave full details of the menu. I will definitely be returning!

Have not been here in a few months... New menus and dishes...and waitstaff changed. Food and service was great. 2 of us ordered the stuffed chicken $13.99 good portion flavor was on point. The other ordered stuffed shrimp Glad to see they added more lower priced options as we usually order the tricky fish (which by the way is excellent) but $18 Can't go wrong trying this place

I haven't been here since I was living on the Northside. So it was nice to be able to revisit again. The hostess greeted us and offered to throw away our empty cups we wanted to dispose. Then she showed us to our seats. It's very spacious and nicely decorated as if you're on Bourbon St with music playing in the background. I ordered their popcorn shrimp with cheese grits. It came with some kind of sauce but I didn't care for it with the shrimp. It was good on the hush puppies tho. I did ask for a different sauce similar to a remoulade sauce and that was good.

We came for one thing! The bread pudding! Can't loose when you chose the bread pudding for dessert. We ate next door and walked acrossed the parking lot to grab this sweet treat. It never disappoints. So next time you pick razzoos don't forget dessert!

Great food, great atmosphere. Cheyenne provided amazing service and was very attentive. This was our first time but will definitely be returning.

This was my first time visiting Razzoo's! I started off with the boudin balls, which were OMG delicious! They were perfectly made and fried! The dipping sauce was so good that I wish I could've bottled some up and took it with me! The waitress was very polite and attentive. I didn't have to wait or ask for anything! I don't remember her name but she was the young tall, light skin complexed African American girl. I ordered the stuffed chicken breast(I'm a non seafood eater). I appreciated the bold flavors, unique spices, and hearty portions that are characteristic of Cajun cuisine. Their green beans were one of a kind too! A lot of Cajun restaurants pride themselves on using fresh, high-quality ingredients to create their dishes. The combination of flavorful seasonings and rich ingredients along with the wonderful service made this a very memorable dining experience. The daiquiri packed a punch too!

Crawfish

The crawfish here was so disappointing. No seasoning and just had a bunch of water at the bottom. Clear looking water it was not appetizing. Service wasn't great either. Disappointing as the first two times we have been here it was a better experience.

When I got there, I noticed it was kind of hot inside. It took a while for the hostess to come get me seated. I wanted to sit towards the back where it was cooler, but there were some tables that were not cleaned up yet . They seated me towards the front, close to the entrance where it was hot. Throughout the whole time there I was sweating almost like as if I was eating hot peppers. I noticed two food runners that were making mistakes and delivering food to the wrong tables that happened twice, but my server was great! She did everything she could as far as I'm concerned! It took a while to get my appetizer and I finally got it with my drink that was flat. When I ate my appetizer, I asked for a water with lemon instead of a fountain drink. I think management should take a sip out of every one of those soft serve dispensers so they can taste what they're serving before the servers get blamed. When I got the main course. As you can see, my green beans could've been a little more than not .The pork chops were tiny and I did get a of steam vegetables In the same size bowl as the green beans. They treated the gravy like cane's sauce very small serving and the gravy didn't have any flow almost had the consistency of mashed potatoes. I think that if I was given a choice or even notified of how small those pork chops were then I would've added a couple more pork chops with more gravy. I left unsatisfied. And like I said, the server was good. She did what she could that was within her control. But I think in today's times for Restaurants to survive, they need to serve customers with something that will wow them to want to come back. I don't eat out very much but every once in a while, I'd like to enjoy the fruits of my labor. I was craving Cajun food and someone at (work) recommended this place to me! I threw those vegetables on the plate so that in my mind I can convince myself that I'm getting a lot of food but it didn't work. I mean, look at the piece of bread that they gave me! Sometimes these people think they're doing us a favor we're paying good money and they need to shell out some good food. I never saw a manager come up to me and asked me if I was OK or how I was doing. i'm not asking for something for nothing! I very rarely complain about restaurants, but It was just payday and I wanted to go out and enjoy some Cajun food on my first time visit to this place that was recommended to me. I would have to think long and hard to think about gracing the doors of that place.

Good food, good service, and good drinks. When you want a taste of New Orleans this is the spot. Food is seasoned perfectly and the atmosphere is that straight out of Louisiana.

Hush Puppies, Cajun Tricky Fish, Po'boy

This place has really amazing food. I usually get seafood, though I've tried their other food and it's just as good. The service is always really quick and accurate as well. The ambiance does a good job of blending Texas and cajun, so I'd recommend this place to anyone from out of town and locals alike. The last time, we got the cheese dip appetizer, po boy, and cajun tricky fish. We also got the hush puppies. Pretty much everything on the menu is some variety of spicy, as to be expected with cajun. Even the hush puppies were made with jalapeño. It all turned out really good and has always been surprisingly affordable. Their drinks are top notch as well, lots of house specials for the mixed drinks.

I highly recommend the spicy flavor. Everything is fresh, tasty, and well-seasoned. The restaurant has a lively and casual atmosphere that makes it a great spot for family dinners. We were seated at immediately, but after sitting for a few minutes with no greeting, I realized something wasn't right. I had to walk back to the hostess stand to let them know we hadn't been assigned a server. Turns out, we were seated in a section that didn't even have a server until 5:00 PM. That's not a small oversight--that's a breakdown in communication at the front. Now, to their credit, once our server stepped in, things started to turn around. Drinks came out quickly. I ordered my usual Long Island, and I loved that it was served in a branded mason jar--cute touch, definitely added to the vibe. (Still wondering if I was supposed to keep it or not ) We started with appetizers: The crawfish pistolet was the standout. Flavorful, rich, and honestly the best thing we had. My only complaint is they needed a little more bread to balance all that filling. The fried green tomatoes were cooked well and the portion was generous (almost two whole tomatoes), but they were under-seasoned. I had to add salt and rely on the sauce to bring them to life. Now let's talk about the menu--it's huge. We're talking seafood, burgers, fried chicken, boils, ceviche... everything but the kitchen sink. And while options are nice, it does make you question how fresh everything really is when a restaurant is trying to do that much. Overall, this place felt like it was trying to recover from a rough start--and partially succeeded. There are definitely some highlights (that pistolet!), but also some inconsistency that keeps it from being a full win. Final verdict: 3.5-4 stars. Come for the seafood favorites, but they've got some tightening up to do on service flow and seasoning.

We ordered Fried shrimp, with creamed spinach and onion rings. The flavor of the food was good, well-seasoned, and it was new to me to have leaf spinach served in a cheese sauce and I decided I like it! If you like your food spicy, then order the Shrimo Cocktail. It was a little spicy for me, but the flavors were good. We ordered a stuffed baked potato with butter, sour cream and chives. The potatoes skin tasted great, not sure how it was seasoned, but we liked it and the prosaic boring stuffed baked potato was really delicious when I poured the remainder of my spinach's cheese sauce over it. Desserts are homemade, and today's offerings were crème brûlée and Key lime pie. They weren't bad. The owner was welcoming and I liked our nice chat, particularly as they were short-staffed as somebody had not turned up for work. Overall, we had no real expectations going in and thought the food tasted much better than we had anticipated. Try it.

The owner who answered the phone told me that actually the employees of one of the companies in the area reserved like the whole cow. I think he said 64 lbs or something like that. Savages. But he did say they could save a piece for us if I told him when I wanted to come in. I asked him for a good time to come. He said usually they're done cooking it by 12:30 pm and then it needs time to cool down. So he suggested mid-afternoon like around 2 pm. Ok. Well what the heck. A late lunch it is then. I've always been a whore for a good cut of meat. When we got there I told the host/waiter that we had a reservation and he just replied ok and didn't bother asking our name or checking us off a list or anything. Understandable I suppose since the place was empty. When we got the menus my first observation was that a number of the prices were higher by several dollars than as listed on their website, including the prime rib. The waiter replied it's just a few bucks, and then noted it's actually been like that for a few months. When I talked to the owner later he said they're waiting for the lady who handles their website to make the update. I've posted pics of their current in store menu so you can know the current prices. I think the waiter was new. Because he didn't ask how we wanted our prime rib cooked (I had to ask him later if we have a choice). Also when I asked for more horseradish (it doesn't come with the prime rib automatically) he took my plastic thimble looking cup and just refilled it, which seemed a bit unsanitary and odd. Also I had to ask for ketchup for the onion rings. When I was signing the bill he just hovered and immediately took it. It just felt weird. I dunno. Maybe his shift was ending or something. I know this sounds weird to comment on but the water tasted off. It's the first time I've ever said that. But it just tasted weird. I couldn't put my finger on it. Maybe like it already had some lemon in it? Yet there was a lemon slice on the rim of the glass. So I'm not sure. Anyway onto the prime rib. I thought it was ok. My kid absolutely loves prime rib and that's the real reason we came. But she just didn't like it here. However it is one of their most popular dishes and the way they sell out obviously folks in the area are ga ga for it. So definitely come give it a try for yourself. It comes 2 sides but not a baked potato which is $5 extra. I love baked potatoes but the extra cost made me not want to get it. The waiter said the mashed potatoes do not come with gravy but actually the sauce that comes with the prime rib is pretty thick and could easily be used for this. I thought the cream spinach was good as well as the fries and onion rings. Note the QR codes on the bill didn't work to pay. I'm not sure why. I think the waiter said something was wrong with their computers. When we asked for a to go box the lid on my gravy container didn't securely close. The waiter said that actually all of the containers have that problem. Yikes. Well just be careful you don't spill it in your car. I guess the waiter told the owner my kid didn't like the prime rib and when we were boxing it up the owner came to our table and was apologetic and super nice about it and offered to comp her plate. Now that's old school class. I've been to some of these newer places where they couldn't give a crap. But the owner here actually cares that people have a good time. So kudos to him. Their menu is extensive. And they have something for everyone. They also have a kids menu with reasonable prices. The monte cristo and pork knuckle were catching my eye. Maybe another day.

I had never been to the previous address, but the interior design was so lovely we chose to sit at the new bar. Kady, the bartender (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) was such a doll the whole time waiting us. She kept the chips (touch of louisiana we enjoyed) next to her for refills and made the most twisted hurricane I've had. Definitely walked out clinging to my man lol. We tried the crawfish dip which came with two types of bread, though both went amazing with it. I ordered the lobster ravioli with a side of hush puppies and my old guy ordered the lamb chops, well done, with gumbo (we don't eat pork) and stuffed shrimp. Everything was so damn great tasting. I mean, damned good tasting. My only flaw was the roux could've been a little thinner, but that is absolutely it. Fabulous timeeee and I'm so recommending.

Despite a pretty empty restaurant we were told that only the bar and outside were available. And unlike many other places, they said this bar only allows 21 and older to dine in the bar area, which means only the outside for us. This being a cold (because of the wind) and cloudy morning. Sigh. Asked for a kids menu and was told it's only for 12 and under. Got the evil eye from the hostess when I said my kid qualifies. Then I offered to show them her ID and they backed off with smiles even. The complementary potato chips kind of tasted like Chips Oman. At least they weren't stale and it's a nice addition while you wait. The kiddo got the kids catfish which was just a pretty small piece of fish. Fries were good. Side fruit consisted of strawberries pineapple and red grapes. No drink included. Had to chase down the staff to get some tartar sauce. I wanted a Po Boy but was told they don't offer it on the weekends. Asked about beignets and was told it's only for dessert. Sigh. Decided to get the pork ribeye fricassee. The flavor was good but boy was it salty. Almost like they dropped a whole shaker of salt on it. Good thing there was some rice to counter the effect. Otherwise it would be inedible. So after our meal we had access to the desert menu and got a half order of beignets (4 pieces). They were ok. The dough on these is pretty thick though. Not sure if that's standard but I'd prefer light and fluffy. Soft opening was just the day before. So I think they're trying to find their stride. Water girl was on it though so kudos to her. Waiter was meh. Had to go in and fetch him a few times as they don't come outside much, especially when you're the only one out there. The bar area is small but the bartenders are nice. They have a sectioned off room in the back which might be good for a larger group. Place is kinda small overall though.
